Lovely apartment bathroom shower all seemed new and worked very well Very clean Very good beds and matraces pillows Nice warm extra blanketl I iked the big window in the launge and also that my balcony in the entrance was so welcoming with table and chair Staff very thoughtful Every day cleaning service thoroughly and in detail what I did not expect as I was there only for a couple of days My pot was cleaned very kindly while I was in the supermarket buying a sponge and washing liquid to do the job so what a nice surprise when I came back Central road easy to walk into town

Nothing to complain about

Size of unit. Room was clean. Bed was very clean and very comfortable. Happy atmosphere. Excellent parking. Towels were clean. Loved the make up flannel.

Kitchenette was below par. Expected sink in kitchenette. Had to wash and dry dishes in basin right beside the toilet. Public iron stairway was difficult and steep.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned every day. We knew in advance to expect an older motel with ditto amenities. Fairly centrally located. Buses 1 and 95 stop almost outside the motel and run very regularly, including weekends, connecting you to the main bus station and from there to all of Christchurch via --one-- free transfer.

Very limited TV offering, i.e. few TV channels.

Great location, nice & warm, clean with comfy beds. Nice & quiet even on a long weekend. Staff were friendly & accommodating. Fantastic value for money.

Kitchenette in our room did not have a sink or cooking facilities besides a toaster & microwave. Had to wash dishes in the bathroom & cooking was not an option. Pillows weren't very good. Other than that, was great.

The kitchen was great to be able to self cater, the bathroom was a good size, the bed and dining area was large. The location of the Motel was close to the city and surrounding suburb shopping centres.

A couple of small things- the cooking utensils were sparse, the mags (for hot drinks) were quite small, the tv had limited channels (doesn’t matter unless staying indoors), small car-parking areas at front and back of the motel and no sign to put outside the room for no room servicing. Very minor things

Our room was double booked they messaged us a couple of days prior to confirm if upgrading us to a bigger/better room free of charge was okay which for us is a godsend with two little ones. we've been to places that have turned us away because of this, so was very much appreciated!! Also was very cosy we were going to be arriving late so they turned heater and setup bed already for us which was very nice to walk into ☺️ there was plenty of parking and not a long walk to your room from car which also loved!

Was upgraded from a one bedroom to a two bedroom unit. Lots of space. Close to eateries & shopping.

The shower was the only thing I didn’t like about the property. No ability to adjust the pressure; it was not much more than a trickle & took twice as long to have a shower, defeating the purpose of having an eco-shower head. Stepping up 30cm into the shower is dangerous & a serious hazard, particularly stepping down again, where u have to twist your body & hang on to the side of the glass door to stop yourself slipping & falling.

Reception went above and beyond to accommodate us for several weeks after we came out of MIQ and until we could secure a rental property. We were given a fantastic weekly rate and it was never a problem for them to try and lessen the number of room changes required for our long stay (in the end there was only one change). Both of our rooms had everything we needed and we were always able to get a car park. The location of the motel is very convenient and for no frills accomodation I would definitely recommend.

We always had to ask for more toilet paper as the supply wasn't added to when our room was serviced nearly every time. The road noise could be annoying but we are on one of the busiest roads in the city! I would stay here again though as it is still very good value for money, particularly for central accomodation with free off-street parking.

A 1am check-in went smoothly, the room was cleaned daily and even my dishes were washed for me. Right next to a bus stop and a 20 minute walk to downtown.
