Location was good as long as you had a car as a little out of city centre. Stewart? on reception was lovely, smiley and very welcoming. Apartment was very spacious though a little dated, quiet at night and the comfortable bed had fabulously clean white bed linen.

Nothing, our one night stay was comfortable and did the job perfectly. Some restrictions on cooking (perfectly acceptable) might put some travellers off. Catering options were basic but adequate (we didn’t use anything other than fridge/kettle).

The staff was nice and chatty, and we had great conversations then, knowing some useful information about Christchurch during my trip. The room was clean and great. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful rest there.

We were out of hot water during our shower in night, and the temperature was quite low at night (about 9 degrees outside). We were so panicked then, we finished our shower with cold water……. It was lucky and my boyfriend didn't get cold. Otherwise, the room was totally nice.

Handy location for us easy walking distance to shopping mall and cafes. On bus route into city. Handy to most locations including beach. The hosts were exceptional very friendly and very helpful. The units are extremely spacious and have everything you need for a short or long stay.

It was tired and needing updating, it certainly didn’t affect our stay. We stayed for 2 plus weeks and were very comfortable.

A lovely pet-friendly motel with equally lovely staff! Off street parking, fresh, clean bedding and a great shower.

Well this is being very picky, but most motels now used the same brand tea/coffee/hot chocolate- the tea is very weak and tasteless. I usually take my own teabags so it’s not a big issue for me at all, and as I said, it would be bout the only fault I could possibly find.

Fantastic friendly service, the room was spacious, modern and very clean, with all the comforts one would require. It exceeded my expectations. When I passed on some feedback to the owner, he gave me a follow-up call the following day, with further information about my concern. I would certainly stay again.

Super friendly hosts, really clean room, sky movies premiere as well as 3 sky sports and the usual free to air channels. As a bonus, it is only a short walk to a great pub where your garden city motel key gets you a 10% discount. There is off street parking and it only took us 10 minutes to get to the airport for our early flight when it was time to leave.

The one bed apartment was really spacious, much more than I expected. The kitchen was well stocked - had everything we needed. The price was really good as well

Not much really. The only thing was the shower head, I prefer a shower slide. The motel is a bit dated and needs a bit of TLC on the outside.

Warm room good heat pump to cool it, shower good, coffee plunger available. All good

Everything was good, except that I was a bit nervous descending the quite steep steps with bags. They were covered in non-slip carpet and there was a sign there that they would be slippery if wet, but I was very cautious on them. It was the only small downside to staying there :-)

Amazing place! Clean, quiet, good location. Roses in front of the room were fantastic, oh that smell and that view! The room was even bigger than we expected, it had 2 separate bedrooms and the common area, so it was a decent flat, not just a room for such a low price!

staff super friendly and very welcoming of our furbaby. Great set up, comfortable room, very comfortable bed. Good location near shops and restaurants.

if I had to find a fault it was the powerpoints behind the bed made it difficult to plug in my computer.
