The staff were amazing , they went above an beyond for us , we were so grateful we got them a box of donuts when we left, they didnt know how much their kindness meant to us. We loved the clean rooms , the shower was awesome BEAUTFUL , soaps an shampoo etc , Comfy beds nice to have a tv in each room bonus with having our kiddo with us. Aircon was great, really good kitchen, hubby loved sky and close to the hospital which suited us for our reason to be in Hamilton. APPRECIATE the amazing team at Astra Motor Lodge

There wasnt anything really not to like bit of road noise but shut the window like magic sorted ..

The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was great, worked very well. Good parking. Nice little kitchenette. The bathroom was well appointed and very clean. Lovely to have a table and chairs to sit up and eat at. With the windows closed and the airconditioning going, there was no road noise at all.

We prefer hand held showers to a fixed rose. Other than that, everything was good.

the rooms are really nice and well equipped and easy to maintain. I love the quality bathrooms that just looks and feels clean… the beds clean and comfortable 🙌.. rooms warm and easily managed with the air con.

I really like the property but some cleaning products in the room for longer stays can help us also maintain our room ☺️. surface cleaning & window/mirror spray.

We stayed in Room 5, a ground floor unit. The room was modern, clean, compact, comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. It had everything we wanted. The shower was an absolute bonus too, you could probably fit 3-4 adults in there.

Room not quite sound proof, we could hear what was happening outside our room i.e. traffic, rain, other guests if they were outside talking etc.

The rooms are spacious and clean. They look like the have had an upgrade recently. The location was good for our needs close to the lake. Its on a busy road but you don't notice it. Stored our bags for the day when when we were out and about. Wanted to stay here again for our other trip to Hamilton but they were fully booked. Will stay here again.

the location is convenient and the room is clean and updated. Nice updated new bathroom and kitchen. Wifi connection and parking all good.

The room we stayed isn't big enough, the living room was occupied by the large double bed leaving no space for couch except for a small dining set. The size of bathroom and kitchen also are small compared with average bathroom and kitchen size. Compared with the price we paid, we won't come back for 2nd stay in the future.

99% of everything was great. Staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Room was superb, bed was big and comfy, bathroom was nice and shower was incredibly nice and big. Also don't be worried by the location being on a main road, the soundproofing is the best I've experienced in a motel before, with the aircon on quiet and the window shut I couldn't hear any cars going past at all.

My one issue I had was the WiFi was pretty poor. It would cut out often. I had data so I just used that instead

Welcome was nice, rooms were clean, smaller than we thought.

Wish someone had called after our departure to say my medicine bag was left behind, would've saved a lot of stress and worry. Had to call them.the next day to ask if it was there, only to be told yes it was🤔🤦‍♀️relieved but confused why no one called me?

I liked how friendly the staff were when it came to checking in, checking out, and also the housekeeping. The room was a lot bigger than what the photos showed, and the shower was spacious and had very good water pressure.

Everything was very tidy and clean. However, the bin in the bathroom hadn't been emptied from the last guests who had stayed there.

Awesome little motel. Nice comfortable room, Big shower which we loved. Motel was also provided with clean towels, soaps, tea coffee etc and even fresh milk for morning coffee. We’ve stayed in expensive hotels that weren’t even this good. Value for money

When we arrived back at the motel there was no parking spaces - so we had to park in disabled parking. Very minimal fault otherwise everything was awesome
