Great location and sufficiently spacious for what we needed. Staff were very accommodating organising a carpark for me which we greatly appreciated.

It's not clear from the property listing that you can book carparks in advance. We were lucky to secure one last minute, which we are greatful for, but our stay (with two preschool children) would have been very difficult if we couldn't get a park. If I'd have known we could have booked in advance, I would have done so. It is NOT first in, first serve only/no bookings as implied on the property listing.

Location is great if you are needing to be central to town. Can be a little noisy in the weekend with night life happening, but you have to expect that

We booked 6 rooms in total for a tour party of 10 - our 2 bd apartment was great, all rooms spacious and nice to be together. Location is perfect with so many places to eat on the doorstep. The carpark was handy.

the corridor outside rooms 400 on first level is not insulated under carpet and so it is very noisy with peoples footsteps stomping - late at night or early in morning is not good when people need their sleep for work. suggest underlay at the least later check out would be good one room 416 apparently had very poor water pressure and the other 2 bd apartment did not have any opening windows the car park can be a bit of a nightmare - book parking if you really need that guarantee but i was able to park on the road with no drama

The reception, hotel cleaning, and restaurant staff were amazing - thank you. Reception very accomodating for an early check in (12pm) as we went to a day concert that started before 2pm normal check in. Cleaning staff were friendly and helped get our rooms done so we could check in early. Great coffee and brunch in the hotel restaurant - staff there were also fantastic.

One of the rooms was ‘tired’ looking however super clean and had everything we needed. One room had been upgraded but the other had not. The renovated room was much nicer. A shower mat would’ve been great as I nearly fully slipped over on the tiles.

We arrived at the hotel around noon. We had lunch at the hotel's cafe. The food was vey good, and the service was excellent. I checked with the reception around 1:30pm, I understood that the check-in was was not due until 2:00pm. The reception staff was very kind to let us checked in. He gave clear information as to how to get into the hotel car park.

One suggestion - the electronic door lock at the room needed to lift up and push down to open the door. May be nice to inform the customer who has not stayed in this hotel before!? Also, it is an old building, it has a smell. It was not very noticeable after the air condition running.

I stayed for one night. It’s a good location, good wifi, has a small fridge in the room, iron, kettle, etc. Comfy beds and the window had both a blind and shutters so it was possible to make the room fairly dark at night which I think is nice.

Luckily the rooms are well sound-proofed from each other but you do get a lot of noise from the hallway. This is a very central hotel and I stayed on a Saturday night which meant I was woken up multiple times by loud groups coming back from their night out. I would guess it would be fine on a weeknight though. Also my room had a step to get into the bathroom, and another very tall step to get into the shower which probably would be challenging if you’re not sure footed.

Very salty meals For some reason my room service remains were left in my room by the cleaning crew for 3 days - mould was growing by then! The step out/in and up/down re. the shower had to be done carefully - an older guest would probably find this a challenge.

Always like the location of Ramada. Central and walking distance to most things that we like to do and attend. The staff are always excellent and I always am treated well and respectfully.

The paid parking!!! I have stayed at Ramada several times a year over the last few years and have always ranked it as my first choice for staying for several reasons including parking availability. This has changed now that they have introduced paid parking and unfortunately caused me to seek out other accommodation in Hamilton since my last stay. It was actually more about the possibility that you might not be able to book parking for the full time you are there because someone else may have booked earlier but arriving on later days.

Hired two rooms. Rooms were nice and clean. Although the bathroom was very tiny. Hardly any space to move. I know they were standard rooms but bathrooms were quite congested. Everything else was very good. Clean and tidy and all the requirements were met. Callum was ok to deal with on the phone but at the hotel seemed hesitant to help. The other guy who was on duty on Friday night, (sorry forgot the name) dealt with him around 8ish pm at night on Friday was really friendly and very easy to deal with, thank you. Need more people like you…. everything else went smoothly!

The location was a highlight and the beds were excellent, very comfortable and cozy. The room was clean and the hotel overall was clean. The air-conditioning in the room was excellent and the signs around the hotel was very helpful and well appreciated. The access to a car park was an added bonus and appreciated and the vending machine was great too including the cafe/restaurant next door. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The size of the bathroom in a standard room is tight for bigger people but was still ok to access and did not impact on the overall stay.
