Location is great, just off the roundabout with Pak N Save on your left and Countdown on your right. Easy to walk into the CBD and to the restaurants. Room was fine. Great thing about this accommodation is breakfast is included (well at the moment) so you can get something to eat if you are up and about early and off exploring or off to Auckland for a day trip.

Bit of a shame that the included breakfast wont be included as from the 1 October 2023 but can understand the reasoning but then the rooms have cultery etc so just a easy to bring your own if you dont want to eat out. Wont put us off staying here.

I liked the bath, it was really big and the jets worked. The bed was super comfy and big. There were wine glasses with the normal glasses, a fridge and everything you need to make a coffee. They also have a connection to a local restaurant that offers room delivery so you can call and order food straight to the room, the servings were huge, we ordered 2 meals for 2 people but they were big enough that we could have just ordered one to share.

There were no plugs by the side tables on the bed so had to plug in our phones on the other side of the room (not a big deal). Netflix didn't work on the TV, we tried casting Netflix from 3 different devices (2 phones and an ipad) but it wouldn't cast to the TV, but other streaming services like Disney+ casted to the TV fine.

Last minute stay at Ventura Inn was lovely. I was surprised to get a suite so that really exceeded my expectations. Basically it was a one bedroom apartment with all the amenities and comforts. Nice kitchen, big screen TV in the living room, large bed that was very comfortable, and windows that let in a lot of sunlight. Location was great- just a short walk to the main city center. Free parking on site too. Staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay very much. Definitely recommend.

Nice buffet breakfast, all shared spaces were decorated with photos of New Zealand scenery, clean and tidy, coin operated laundry for longer stays. Rooms were basic, very clean and beds were comfy. Really nice shampoo/conditioner :) Very central to Hamilton City. We walked every where we needed to go on this particular stay. Nice cafes and eateries close by. Two supermarkets within walking distance (convenient) Very friendly staff at the front desk and cleaning staff always said hello were lovely

Couldn't make the netflix work (probably more that I am not very tech savvy!), but was able to watch freeview channels

The location of this accommodation was specifically chosen for centrality. We could walk to many of the places we wanted to visit & walk to eateries at night. The breakfast provided was generous & the coffee options really good. Our room was a good size with excellent kitchen facilities as well.

Unfortunately there was no information compendium in our room, but the friendly staff answered every question. This facility is on a busy corner, so there is a fair bit of traffic noise, best to keep windows closed at night.

This was probably our shortest stay in a hotel (less than 12 hours), but it certainly exceeded our expectations. We arrived late and needed to check out early to catch our balloon ride. Nonetheless, the staff was helpful on check in. The location was great and lots of restaurants were nearby, and we had a good dinner there.

Towels were not provided in one of the rooms but the receptionist immediately rectified this. Kudos to her.

The breakfast was a nice bonus, especially having a gluten free option. Location to the lake, river walks, museum and cbd was great. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we left something in our room on check out, and they helped us to get it back.

First impressions count, and looking right into the working kitchen from reception is a bit weird, I felt like we had come in the staff entry.

Staff were awesome both at reception and house keeping. Very accomodating and welcoming! Facilities are great. Also stayed a few weeks ago for around a week & so close to everything; hospital, central city, it was perfect for us!

Not so much I a dislike but would love more options for breakfast & would definitely pay more for a full breakfast :)

Warm, comfortable, clean, quiet, central.

No easy access for gaining coins for the laundry. It would help to be able to use eftpos in exchange for coins for those people that want to use the laundry, or go one step further and have a cashless system like a laundromat. The toiletries in the room were a very strong scented brand. we did not use these.

It was a last minute booking as we weren't sure if we were going to be spending the night. Booking was confirmed immediately via email once we knew there was a room available. Desk staff person on arrival was pleasant and efficient as were the staff when we left in the morning. Thank you, we intend to stay again when next in Hamilton. Good on site parking too.
