I liked how staff at reception were very generous roomm was fairly clean.

The spa bath needs to be cleaned properly, the jets had others pubic hair still in it so we had to run the bath 3x to clean it before using it even then we ended up showering off after using. Also after getting told from locals that the motels are used alott from people smoking P we were very weary due to having a baby with us. So it didn’t help when we arrived police were at the property trying to remove others.

The compact well designed layout of space enabled me to move effortlessly in the room. Bed near dinning room table and kitchen sink. The main kitchen supplies available for use (stove, microwave, jug, toaster, mini fridge), was really helpful for my overnight stay.

The only thing I should have stated was if available getting a ground room. I will ensure to ask for that next time I return to Hamilton. I really enjoyed the convenience of being able to shop in my area.

We booked 2 rooms as we were travelling with kids. They were able to give us 2 rooms next to each other which was perfect. Great sized rooms with a double (or maybe queen bed) and single in each room. The bigger bed felt quite small and was a bit saggy. Maybe because we are used to a king sized bed. Good sized bathroom with shower and spa bath (although we didn't use the bath). We stayed 2 nights and didn't need the cleaner to come in and make the beds or change the towels afterthe first night but no Do Not Disturb sign. I guess we could have told them but didn't expect that to happen for a 2 night stay in a motel.

No facecloths, even when they changed the towels. When you turned the shower on the nozzle moved with the increase in pressure and sprayed out the door.

I had a cancelled flight out of Christchurch with a booking already in place for Arena, they were gracious enough to hold the room for the day I actually arrived and had the room ready and i experienced no issues with the very late check in and being a day late. Staff at Arena are warm and welcoming even with delays, I recommend.

Nothing from my end, being late due to unforeseen circumstances they did all they could.

Modern room with small kitchen which incuded a stove top, microwave, bar fridge and cooking / eating utensils. Bathroom was very nice too. The staff are friendly.

Guest laundry was closed, which was a hassle because I travel light and use carry on luggage only and need to wash my clothes every 2-3 days.

The location was perfect, and the staff and management were great hosts. I would recommend Arena Court if you needed to be in central Hamilton as most amenities are in close proximity to the motel.

We stayed for 5 nights, and we found the beds are a little hard after a couple of nights.

The location was perfect as we were visiting to watch a rugby game and the stadium is just a few minutes walk away, maybe not the best option if you are looking for a quiet get away though as I can imagine the noise from the stadium would be loud. Our room was very clean and comfortable! Staff were very friendly. Would recommend!

Good value for money, spa bath was a nice surprise as not expecting that with this type of accomodation

Saw a cockroach scurry by the table when we went in the room so not really a good first impression with the cleanliness of the room. Didn't have a choice of having a warm light to stay on throughout the night for nighttime bathroom trips

Very clean, modern place. Good location being able to walk to a few food places, a pub and supermarkets.

This is being very picky but the full length mirror is on a cupboard only a metre or so away from the side of the bed, right next to the wall, this makes it virtually unusable, again a very very minor detail but maybe something to change.

Location and comfy beds

The office was locked and we had to ring the bell to get in. It was 4pm so was a bit strange that office was closed Also office was not opened in the morning when we checked out. Was told to leave key in wall slot Felt a bit removed from the customer service we usually experience.
