The room was as expected, the staff very friendly and accommodating. Very close to several restaurants. The area was reasonably quiet, however it is directly across the road from the Hospital so helicopters coming in and out during the night. The room has a very good heater and the bed very comfy. My room was a little dated but this was to be expected for an overnight motel. The free Wi-Fi was good. The shower was adequate, linen very pressed and clean. A large flat screen TV and comfy chairs were good at the end of the day. This was ideal for a one night stop over that is very close the airport.

Carramar very handy to the hospital actually its just across the road from the entrance. I live in the Wairarapa and had a 7am appointment at the hospital and would of had to get up at 4 in the morning get ready and drive there so was glad the room was available and i booked it😊👍

Apart from my husband hearing the sounds of sirens and traffic coming from the road and the hospital it didnt bother me because im deaf There was nothing to not like

I was already talking to the concierge when the phone rang. I didn't expect him the stop our conversation to answer the phone when I just came to check in after a long drive. He seemed unaware that between a customer in front of him and an unknown caller, the customer right in front of him takes precedence. Perhaps customer service training is still needed.

The water pressure is AMAZING! Also being 6ft tall and having a bath that I feel comfortable in was luxurious. Peaceful and quiet with friendly staff. The supply of mini bar/snacks was also really handy after a long day of travelling. Parking right in front of our unit was also very nice. Literally across the road from the hospital and near the airport.

Some may not like the air traffic noise but for the price and the location we didn't mind at all.

Last minute decision to book and stay while driving back home, and was pleasantly surprised by the decor, quality, new refurbished rooms, reception staff, everything presented well , clean, bed was comfy, and there was a bath for a good soak after a long day or working/ driving. Would recommend, and stay here again if needed to stop in Palmy.

my only minor fault was the hairdryer thingy in the bathroom didnt seem to be working, Woke up with crazy hair ! I told staff and check out so expect they will get onto it.

Didn’t have breakfast but I did buy coffee and a cheese scone from the cafe which was very tasty. Living in a rural situation at home I found the motel very noisy which is to be expected being so close to the hospital.it was very busy so obvious a popular choice.

I found the outside lighting very bright at night time, I realise that security is important, perhaps black out blinds would help to prevent this.

Breakfast wasn't required by me. The room was a very comfortable size for me.

The Cafe attached wasn't open on the weekend. The Guest information could have provided some local takeaway/delivery menus. I had pre-booked and paid for the room for 5 nights but due to airline having to divert international flight due to bad weather, I was not reimbursed for 2 nights accommodation which was really disappointing and couldn't extend my stay either due to occupancy, so essentially, paid for 2 nights for nothing. I was stranded nearly 600kms away and called the motel as soon as I could to advise that I couldn't/wouldn't be coming that day, plenty of time for them to re-book the room.

I loved the stylish, spacious studio rooms, was excellent value for money. There was a bath in the unit which was a nice surprise. I love the height of the bed..and the minibar was a nice touch, not many places to that anymore.

Upon arrival the lady behind the counter informed me they hadn't received my request to checking earlier and that I would have to come back. Usually 2pm check in, I asked for 1pm...she told me to come back at 2.15. She was rather rude and abrupt..i would recommend she gain some.customer service skills before running reception again. The younger lady was brilliant..she was friendly and helpful.. if it wasn't for her friendly approach I wouldn't have returned for the late check in.

Large bathroom with both bath and shower

The only sink was in the bathroom, the same room as the toilet. To me, this is not a suitable place to wash dishes and kitchen utensils. Other places I have stayed where it's like this, they have at least provided a basin or bowl for dishes to be taken away to be washed. I would have appreciated something like that.

Great location (very central & easy to find) with ample parking. Room was spacious as was the bathroom. Very clean & tidy & great they have a smart T.V for streaming etc.

Bed was stated as a large double. But it felt like a double. If two adults are sharing I would suggest upgrading as my mother & I were very cramped. Very large room though so could easily fit a bigger bed??
