Kuirau Park Motor Lodge

Everything went well. The receptionist was friendly. She took me to my room & made sure that I was comfortable. She ensured that I had a carparking space close to my room because it was raining. Sure the building has been there for many years but doesn't deserve the negative comments that I read in the reviews. The price reflects the age of the building. My room was nicely painted & spacious. The carpet was new & the bed was comfortable. It had cooking facilities. I would have been quite happy staying for a week!!

Very little. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great, although I did manage to wash myself adequately.

Great price for the one night transit stay we had we arrived late and left early so just needed a bed and bathroom for the night, staff were awesome gave us a great run down and then left us to it, room was heated before we arrived, this was amazing cause it was COLD lol room was clean and tidy and had everything we needed, we ended up with an upgrade which was so cool, we weren't there for long enough to use the spa but this would have been a bonus if we stayed longer.

Only one, would have been even better if the bed was more comfy, my sleep wasnt the best as the mattress was way too hard

the staff were so welcoming and catered so well to my dad and I and our whole entire family big ups to the staff and owner at this place thank you all so very much for putting up with us. and our whanau we enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this place awesome access for wheelchairs which made our stay super amazing

wish we could fill bath tub when we wanted to but I’m saying that the people there were awesome and would come as soon as we asked

Sure the appliances were a little outdated but that didn’t matter at all, they worked completely fine. The thermal pools were cool to know they were there but we didn’t have the time to use them unfortunately.

There was someone revving their truck on and off for over an hour as we were trying to sleep, it seemed no one was willing to ask them to stop, but they eventually did. I don’t blame the motor lodge for that but it still was a negative.

The Manager/Staff were lovely, the hot pools were very relaxing and the beds were comfortable.

The rooms were poorly kept, needed to be vaccumed or swept, the oven was dirty greasy and smelled of roasted pork, there were cigarettes butts in the garden, I myself am a smoker so I had to use a coke can as I don't like littering, maybe add some ashtrays to prevent people littering their butts.

Only thing I liked was the room been up stairs just above the office & how my vehicle was parked right infront of my room.

I didn't like how the blankets , sheets and pillow cases didn't smell clean , there were no bathroom towels , no plug to charge my phone next to the queen bed so had to sleep on the single bed just to charge my phone , location is only good cause it's close to all the shops other then that very noisy when traffic goes past constantly , other people living or staying there were noisy. Had to use my data cause wifi wasn't connecting on my phone wasn't happy with the price I paid for 1 night just for 1 person but I needed somewhere to rest. The staff were awesome because I checked in late they extended my check out time for 10:30am but I left at 7am.

The room was spacious, very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Loved the pressure in the shower. Great location. The movie theatre was across the road:) close to lots of shops, but our room was nice and quiet. Really enjoyed our stat. The staff were nice too. We will definitely be back:)

I should have asked for the extra towels etc for our 2nd day, on the first day, if that was possible, so we would not be disturbed. Other than that, we were very happy.

Staff were great and happy. We enjoyed all of the facilities available to us. Our room was comfortable and we loved that we were tucked away from the rest of the units. My family and I really enjoyed our stay thank you very much.

black fridge/freezer was not clean on arrival. I cleaned it myself.

The host is very friendly and helpful. He made us feel at home. The most wonderful facility in this motel is that it has two very good hot pools. The location is also very good, close the city center.

We were upgraded to a two room unit which was AMAZING. It is an older motel but clean and tidy and absolutely everything we needed. We booked last minute and were arriving after hours and it was all good. Have already recommended it to others coming to Rotorua later in the year.
