Great facilities and a very spacious 1bedroom apartment, in a good location for exploring Rotorua. Immaculately clean and well presented. Kitchen facilities very good for people like us who choose to self cater on a short break. All you need was provided to enable this. Couple that with a really nice lounge / dining area, a comfy bed and a fantastic bathroom and you have a great place to stay. The staff also were very helpful and polite. Credit to all concerned.

Only small issue is parking. There is limited availability which can be pre booked as I understand. We didn’t and had to park on street, which wasn’t a real issue as spaces were plentiful right outside the property, just required a little shuffling around in the morning to avoid charges. Although again, charges were not excessive.

Absolutely central location in the downtown centre. Parking situation was better then we expected. The street in front of the hotel had 60 min limit on weekdays (Mon-Fri) from 9 to 17. So it was possible to keep the car until 10 and from 16 next to the hotel. We had a room with a jacuzzi in the balcony - that was superb, Direction of the balcony was towards evening sun.

We stayed 3 nights. However the washing machine powder was provided only for the first night (after that 3$ per sachet). Diswasher powder was supposed to be resupplied every day, but on 2nd day we needed to ask it from reception (it was free of charge). Coffee supply has similar irregulaties: instant coffee was resupplied, but the ground coffee was supplied only once (although the kitchen included coffee plunger)

Great central location in Rotorua that also offered space and facilities. In hindsight - we wish we had stayed at more Quest locations throughout our travels in New Zealand! Our 1-bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay as a family of three, and we were impressed with the level of service, prior and during our stay. The need of an extra bed was quickly confirmed ahead of our travels (and in situ upon arrival), and upon arrival, the receptionist was extremely helpful, not only with the check-in but also in terms of parking and activities to undertake in Rotorua (great suggestions!). All other inter-action with members of staff - but in reception or otherwise was also very positive and friendly. The apartment was very well presented, great facilities and very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and there was also a much needed washing machine / tumble drier on site. The living area was very comfortable and so was the beds and bedroom. The location is great, so easy to find and within minutes of the main area of town. It was also very easy to access all our activities throughout the stay (including the great Te Pa Tu - Maori Evening - where the meet-up place was within a 10 minute easy walk from Quest).

Parking ..... there is no dedicated parking and due to its location, it is a bit complicated ..... due to the City parking restrictions. However, the receptionist talked us through all, and by being conscious of where and when to park, it all worked out really well. Washing powder - felt a bit mean for our length of stay but available at additional cost. Just a minor observation, as required a visit to reception (during their opening hours).

Our stay at Quest was amazing! The room was super convenient and really comfortable, making it easy to relax. Even though it’s right in town, it was so quiet, and there are heaps of great shops and restaurants nearby, all within walking distance, perfect if you’re into takeout or Uber Eats! We also loved having privacy while using the spa it was such a nice touch. The location was fantastic, and the room was spotless with all the utilities we needed. Everything was explained really well at reception before check-in, which made things so easy. The only small downside was the parking we had to move the car from unpaid to paid spots in the morning and evening, which was a bit of a hassle. But honestly, it didn’t take away from how great the stay was. Would definitely recommend!

Loved the town. Location is in middle of Rotorua in walking distance to restaurants. Great shower and good and quiet heating and AC. Great movie selection. Bed was comfy. Room service was very good. A fantastic Thai restaurant is opposite the road.

No free offstreet carpark at hotel. Some free parking on street for only 60 min possible. Over Easter it was ok as nobody checked, but be aware on weekdays you have to go to the undercover carpark down the road for $2/h if you want to leave the car longer. We stayed in studio room 102 next to the lift and could hear the lift door opening and closing. Windows in room couldn't be opened. Very overpriced for what you get.

The central location in the city was great.

Everything was just ok. I think they need to invest in a machine or product to fully clean the glass shower door, was surprised it wasn’t clear and it just needed a deep clean. We stayed chuffing the Christmas period, so no housekeeping on Christmas Day which I can understand, but on the 26th there was only limited housekeeping, which is ok, but we were never told. There was a sign in the elevator explaining this which we saw that night, but it wasn’t there at 10am when we left. So rubbish was removed, we got new towels, and stuff was put into the dishwasher, but it wasn’t turned on, so we had to do that and wait, or wash things by hand.

The location is fab, in the centre of town, very close to shops, markets and Eat Street. Bike storage was no issue and the staff knowledge about the area was excellent. Bathroom was fine and bed comfortable.

It's not cheap (we had a room with a spa on the balcony). The spa is interesting as you fill it yourself each time you use it. It takes around 20 mins, so you just need to think in advance for that. Once filled it was nice though. My only other criticism is that I could hear some of the plumbing (it may have been toilet flushes) which did wake me up a bit. Having said that, I am a light sleeper.

My room was nice and clean. It seemed a bit dark tho and the lights were not really cozy but I guess it might be fine for business visitors. The location is great. However the car park is shocking!! Too small and hard to maneuver in it. Finding the car park was also a bit challenging.

The car park situation was frustrating. The indoor car park was $20 per night which is fine, however, if there there were multiple cars in the indoor car park there would be a high risk of scratches!! It would also be very difficult to park or get the car out.

Location was very central and convenient with easy access to all facilities and places of interest. The room was cleaned and maintained very regularly. The room had all necessary gadgets to support a long stay with washing machine, dryer, etc, as well. Will prefer to stay at this property when we return to Rotorua.

A safe deposit locker could be considered for inclusion in the room so that one does not have to carry travel documents, cards, etc, all the time while sightseeing.

- Central Rotorua location within easy walk of shops, restaurants, amenities etc - Lovely large room with every amenity we could need - Clean - Welcoming & personable staff - Loved the balcony hot tub - Lucky enough to be staying over a weekend & out in our vehicle for most of the day so parking wasn’t an issue. Free overnight & from mid day on the Saturday straight outside of the hotel
