It was very cosy and very clean. Extras like lavender lotion for the spa bath, complimentary shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee, added to the cottage-like atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable. If you are staying longer than 1 night, suggest that you book a unit that has lake view (as our friend did) because it has the lounge and kitchen area upstairs plus a small patio, which creates a nicer space to spend the day in.

The motel still allows smoking on the premises! Outside of course but directly outside the unit, on the small patios. We were unable to use our patio until the air cleared after the people smoking beside and above us went inside.

Lovely cosy cottage-like unit. Spotlessly clean with everything we could possibly want and more. Unfortunately the weather was miserable but on a nice day it would be the ideal location for a walk around the lake and maybe some kayaking. Even though you are located on the main road noise wasn't an issue.

We noticed there are delivery options for food but we chose to go into town ourselves. We needed to drive as it is a wee way out. This was not really a problem but it was the only thing about Cottage Mews that wasn't excellent.

The rooms are clean, warm and cosy, and nicely decorated. Everyone had a bit of space (there were 4 adults and a toddler!) The owners and staff are lovely and it is right by the water and a short walk to the 2 Mile Bay Sailing Club for drinks and dinner. And such good value, really appreciated our stay here!

It's hard to fault this place, if I had to find something I guess maybe an extraction fan in the bathroom, we used a few extra towels drying the floor but that really was it.

We loved our cottage. The kitchen had everything you would need, the first floor sitting area was very nice leading out to a private patio. Upstairs was another bedroom with large whirlpool tub. We sat out on the balcony each evening watching the beautiful sunset view. It is steps away from the lake. There is a very nice path there for a long walk. The owners were very helpful in getting us set up with a fishing trip the next day. Also, they provide a laundry - washing free and the dryer just $2.

It's like a home away from home. The room was clean and fully equipped with amenities. The biscuit that comes with the coffee, tea and hot chocolate sachets was the extra touch. The split level setting was superb and the place felt cosy and very inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful which made the stay more memorable. It is a very cool getaway by the lake. Highly recommended!

Comfortable room with everything that was needed and the bonus of having private outdoor seating area. Very quiet considering right by the main road. Very clean and comfortable

The hot water cylinder could have been bigger! The spa bath was only warm not hot as you obviously drained the hot water cylinder filling i. Nice but wouls have been nicer if it had been hot not warm.

It was wonderful! On the lakeside (with lake access where I had a refreshing sunrise swim!) Close to everything and the facilities were so tidy and comfortable. Lovely welcome and just a good feel.

The only negative was that there was a bright light shining through the windows by the front door all night so this made it a bit difficult to sleep but that could have just been a neighbour with their outside light on.

It was a chilly evening and the heat pump had been put on so it was nice and cosy when we arrived. In the morning we strolled down the path direct from the property to the lake, that was very handy. The bed was very comfortable.

The shower pressure was a little on the low side but mostly it would have been good if there had been an extractor fan in the bathroom. There wasn't a heater or mirror demister either so we had to open the window to get rid of the steam, that let the cold air in from outside.

Everything we needed and right on the walking path into town. Well equipped kitchenette.... Warm and spacious. Private courtyard with outdoor furniture and afternoon sun. Well serviced by friendly staff. Lovely towels!!

The bathroom probably could do with a heater and fan for winter months although opening the window soon cleared steam.

Simple, clean motel in great location with direct path to the beach and walkway and patio with plantings behind the room. Kind helpful proprietor. Nice greenery and shrubs in the surrounds. Wooden building mainly one floor. Supermarket nearby so we didn't have to go into the township to eat. close to hot pools.

There was a delay getting the netflix going but the proprietor put time and effort into getting it fixed for us.
