Super friendly staff and accommodating to compensate the small amount of parking in site. Lodge is right next door to supermarket and only 1 block away from the lake and right in the middle of the town center. Good size room, very clean and tidy. Nice balcony with beautiful views of the mountains. Good amount of kitchen appliances and cutlery to keep you self contained.

Room was made from wood and creaked heaps, often and loud so it was a bit uncomfortable with the noise, especially in the night. Small amount of parking and a bit tight but staff was very friendly and accommodating for our car+trailer set up.

Excellent location, close to supermarket, shops and beach. Comfy bed and seating, good table and chairs, balcony. Good wifi. Adequate kitchenette.

Strange 'fruity' smell which didn't go away. Lots of creaks, groans and bangs presumably from the timber expanding and contracting. Shower - either temperature too hot or very little pressure.

An old-fashioned style motel but very comfortable with enough kitchen facilities to make preparing a meal easy. Great location to the town - the lake is just a couple of minutes walk away and it is literally next door to a supermarket. Also Patagonia Chocolates is about one minute away which also makes it a perfect spot to stay!

Wi-fi was terrible which meant TV viewing was also affected. I spent as much time watching it paused as I did the program. I know you don’t go to Wanaka to watch TV but on the very wet day it would have been handy!

superb location in heart of Wanaka. not a crazy party town so central location was not an issue only a bonus! easy parking and though limited at the hotel there was loads nearby so never a problem. room was spacious and clean. its dated and not fancy but absolutely fine for the price.

seems petty but its all wooden inside and the walls and ceiling creaked loudly all night. i mean, really loudly. can only assume it was to do with changes in temperature and/or wind causing the boards to expand/contract. may only be an issue on upper floor with vaulted style ceiling? really wasnt a huge deal but it did disturb our sleep.

Great location: Steps from lake, bus stop to/from Queenstown, next door to grocery. Pleasant room but on street with minor road noise. No view. For those that want to prepare meals it's limited but manageable. Great bed, staff and strong internet.

All good...just a bit disappointed with no view (they never claimed they had one). This complex, as in all Wanake a bit overpriced for what you get...but it's what the market says. This was the best priced property in town. In hindsight probably would have done a day trip from Queenstown because of lodge pricing.

It was in a great location, right near the lake and next door to a supermarket. It was a little outdated but had rustic charm to it. Bed was comfy.

The parking was extremely tight and because the large van from the people in the room next to us was parked right on the line of our spot, we couldn’t even fit our small hatchback in the spot. We had to park across the road in a public parking lot overnight..

Good size room for three people. Comfortable beds. Spacious bathroom, shower reasonably powerful. Liked the patio. Central location, lake front just a block away, and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Supermarket right next door.

Not enough car parks for the number of rooms. Parking spaces too narrow, when full cars were so close together there was always a fear your or someone else's car would get damaged. Returned one day to find the cleaner had left our room door open.

Spacious ground floor with private patio and, private but central,next to New world food supplier, and 5 minutes to walk to lakeside and restaurants, and a beautiful French receptionist from Lyon in France.

It just lacked an oven top, but I didn’t need it on this occasion.

Right in town, so I didn't have to use my car for what I was doing the office lady on Sunday was so helpful

Need to check on your cleaner fell like they were only there for the pay day and didn't wont to do anything. (I have worked in motel before and stay in cheaper ones that got better room server) sorry I do know how hard it can be as I have done the job before

The location is very good, close to the lake and cool cafes. The bed was comfy, the shower was good, the kitchennette had everything we needed including a electric stove. We enjoyed the little garden we had. The worker helped us alot, including burrowing her own laundry hanger for us!

Not enough light inside the room.
