Great little boutique style accomm with not too many rooms. The rooms are nice and clean with comfy beds. Also plenty of parking. The garden is gorgeous and we spent hours outside reading in the sun - there’s plenty of lovely touches such as seating, umbrellas and cushions. We didn’t use the hot tub but it looked great. It’s very close to the town, just a short stroll downhill.

- We didn’t get the code for checkin so that was a bit stressful having to get hold of someone to help but it was resolved quickly - The property kind of gave me a youth hostel vibe. It’s not a negative, just not what I was expecting.

- There was no need for interaction as all the instructions were provided via email or text message - The available hot pool was great - The kitchen was well equipped - The area was quiet, but close to the lake and promenade

- the room was a bit small, but you had extra space on the room terrace in the backyard - depending where you room is located, you might need to climbsome narrow stairs. Difficult if you have a big lugagge

Excellent room and house. Very clean and good quality linen and bathroom. Shared kitchen is big and there you can really do your own food, if you want. Good grocery and restaurants in walkable distance.

For some reason we had small problems in communication and I got only minimum answers my questions. That’s a reason I didn’t understand that all restaurants are closed in Christmas even I ask it. So very special Christmas was very poor Christmas. But the house is great even it’s quite expensive.

Wonderful stay at Wanaka Springs Lodge. The property is really beautiful and spacious with a large lounge and fully equipped kitchen/dining room. Each room had space in the shared fridge. My room was large and had a wonderful shared deck with chairs to sit out in the evening. The bed was super comfortable and everything was sparkling clean. There was tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was really nice to have. The bathroom was large and clean. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. The Lodge was down a cul-de-sac, so no traffic noise at all, but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping. There are supermarkets close by as well. Wish I would have stayed longer!

Amazing boutique hotel with eight rooms a short walk from the Wanaka waterfront. Easy to not use the car and just walk to restaurants and bars and shops. the facilities were awesome - there’s a 8-person hot tub under a gazebo, indoor and outdoor lounging areas, private little balcony, coffee and tea and kettle provided, fast WiFi, beautiful bathroom and shower and towel heater. There’s a heater and a fan in the room. There’s a washer and dryer in the garage for guest use (no fee) and two mountain bikes you can borrow.

The walls between the room and the lobby/hallways don’t seem to keep noise out too well so in the mornings, we could hear and be woken up by others talking.

It was lovely as described fantastic just a short walk into town

It was modern uptodate everything worked, the only problem with modern, tiled floors etc sound travels I can understand it easy cleaning but sound travels you can hear people talking, footsteps down the long hallway Some carpet in select places would help, this is a constructive feed back

the location was excellent. from the minute we landed we knew it was going to be a great stay. we met Dave the owner and he showed us around the lodge. he spent ages giving us ideas on where to go and what to do for the day. the room was lovely and warm. the hot tub was an extra bonus. we got engaged during the stay and Wānaka springs lodge was an excellent place to spend our engagement! he gave us bikes to use during the stay to cycle down the town.

everything was great

Loved the location, easy walk into town Comfortable bed. The lounge area with the open fire was fabulous, we were so lucky to have it to ourselves.. Communal kitchen was great. Was good to have a washing machine and dryer. A bit over priced as the rooms are very basic.

The rooms are basic. The fridge in the communal kitchen needs to be bigger or bar fridges in each room

The whole presentation , the quietness yet close enough to walk to the village for dinner every night without the need to take the car. Handy for visiting other locations and the wheels at Wanaka was excellent and the weather great too

Just one more light on the pavement as one walks back at night up where the entry leaves the footpath of Warrren Street would be good

Convenient location. Good size room with outdoor deck and a garden view. It is a lodge (ie ski lodge) so there are communal facilities. The kitchen is excellent with in/out dining and a view.

The room furniture is sparse. Needs another chair and more space for putting stuff.
