Tuscany Villas is located in the centre of Whakatane and within walking distance of many attractions. I was only staying one night but have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation for a longer stay. The room was very spacious, easily big enough for two people. The kitchenette was well stocked to make eating in an easy option. The bathroom was roomy as was the shower which is always a plus for a taller person. The air-conditioning was much appreciated in the hot weather.

There was nothing I didn't like. The room was upstairs but, as long as you're physically able, the steps were easy to navigate.

Owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Was given an upgrade on check-in which was really appreciated and totally unexpected. It was a spacious, clean and comfortable suite. The spa tub was a bonus.

Can be a bit noisy in the road facing rooms due to traffic and a restaurant across the road with an extractor system with bad bearings. Extractor fan in the bathroom seemed a bit tired and noisy. Pillows were a bit high for my personal preference so perhaps having an option for firmer/lower profile pillows would be ideal.

Location: This place had prime location. Everything was in walking distance, including the beach. Room: Our room was immaculate. It exceeded our expectations. The condiments were great. We received a complimentary bottle of fresh local milk for our morning coffee. I especially liked the botanical shampoo and conditioner they supplied. Staff: All staff were immensely helpful and friendly. They had great local knowledge and made great recommendations for dining out. My family and I have stayed at several motels and hotels within NZ the past 18months. Our stay at Tuscany Villa's is definitely in our top 3 stays.

The staff at Tuscany Villas were amazing, friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Access to all the local amenities was literally a 2 minute walk from the Villas. There is a beautiful beach just a 10 minute drive from Whakatane. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere of the town itself and the harbour location. There were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Managed to book a Christmas lunch too, thanks to our hosts.

When we entered Tuscany Villas, Phillip's helpful nature and Rita's infectious smile made us feel more like welcomed friends than paying customers. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well-equipped with whatever you need. Tuscany Villas are perfectly situated in the heart of Whakatane, and puts you within walking distance of everything, from charming cafes and vibrant restaurants to stunning walks along the Whakatane River and the picturesque harbour.

Everything cannot fault anything. Staff were friendly, helpful for guidance and recommendations on activities available, best places to dine ar and where to enjoy the evening. The locality of our hotel, was central a mere walking distance to food, coffee, banks and major retailers. Our room, was spacious, tidy room service included making our bed [2 places we stayed at did not do that]. Coffee maker an absolute must, we could not function without 👍👍 Security and care of our mental health and wellness was in the very efficient, professional and sensitive paws of Master Tickle Pops II.

Friendly staff, large room, very comfortable and clean. Well appointed

No compendium to tell us anything about the area but more importantly how the facilities worked. Tried to use the laundry and was told there was a booking system we didn’t know about. Staff went out of their way to help us with the issue but it could have been solved by a note in the room explaining how it worked

The property was in a great location and in an amazing location in town. Clean and tidy and relatively small so it’s not over run with people.

Whilst the hotel was perfectly clean and tidy it was a tiny bit tired for example, if there were new ceiling fans or tv or even possible update on beds would just wake it up a bit.
