The location was super; right in the heart of Bergen. The view from the window overlooking the sea was spectacular. The black out blinds were great keeping the room dark, and it was nicer to have air conditioning as we went during a warm week. The choice at the breakfast buffet was super! The wide variety in the selection suited everybody in the family. Best to go to breakfast earlier as it gets really busy from 8:30pm.

We were in the family room and while the main beds were comfortable, the sofa beds were not comfortable at all. We needed to ask for extra duvets to lie on as otherwise you can feel the springs. It was a little noisy at night (mostly noise from the football crowd from the nearby sports bar).

The location was near the train station, fish market, etc. Personals are helpful and friendly. Whenever you are tired of Bergen you can go to your room to refresh yourself.

The room was a little bit cold, If I recall correctly the limit of the air conditioner is 24 degrees( maybe this is for the summer season but when I was there it was cold and rainy summer), but there was a little wind flow from outside. The bed was comfortable, but if you have a hernia like me, it is soft. Olive would be great for breakfast, maybe I haven't seen it but in general, I haven't seen olive in Scandinavian hotels :)

Great location at a stone's throw from the old wharf . Stylish décor and comfortable bed. Basic but good quality toiletry. Loved the different type of lights in the room. very good breakfast for quality and variety. Very flexible cancellation policy on booking is added value

The room was tiny., Even for a single occupancy, storage space was limited and I was missing a proper desk. One of the bedside table was conceived as a sort of desk, but if you travel for work and need to work a bit in the room, I would suggest to ask for a room upgrade

This place is in a perfect location across from the harbor and most restaurants and bars. With perfect weather, the establishments are packed with people and nightlife. Rooms are cozy and clean. There's a bar on the ground floor to socialize after a long day touring around. The breakfast is extremely fantastic with overwhelming choices. The dining staff is the best.

The bathroom could use a floor towel as most of the floor gets wet after showing. If you like a quiet breakfast, get there early. After 815, it's rather busy, and the elevator can take a while to go up or down.

I liked the fact that the hotel is hardwood floored. My room was small but comfortable. The front staff were courteous and helpful. The location is the best part. I wanted someplace central for my 2 nights with good access to restaurants and ferry. The breakfast was good and expect it to get crowded.

room: small rooms. was a challenge to manage 2 check in + 2 carry on bags. breakfast: I wish they labeled and have more vegan options. Also, no complimentary coffee outside of breakfast hours. Luggage storage was helpful but have to go up a level.

Very close to the port and just 20 min walk to train station. We were allocated into a disabled room although we didn't need it and the beds were very comfortable

The room door got stuck 45 minutes before we had to take a train to visit some fiords. It was a bit stressful to know we were not sure if we were going to be able to make it as all our things were inside the room. In the end, the door open by luck as the staff were trying to open it with a hammer. It seems this has happened before with other rooms too.

This hotel was wonderful and I would definitely stay again. The biggest plus side here is the location. I was able to walk everywhere I needed and felt safe as a solo traveller. The train station is also close. The breakfast buffet is fantastic with endless fresh options and delicious coffee. The room was exactly as described which was cosy, clean, comfortable and had excellent wifi. I wish I had paid extra for the view. All of the staff were genuine, helpful and friendly. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike!

The very professional and helpful gentleman on the front desk who rang around to find my phone that I had left in the taxi after arriving from our boat. Also we received an upgrade. Breakfast is very good.

Sadly our 2 nd stay there and both rooms looked out onto a central internal square area with pipes and rubbish bins . No cooling as it was hot at the end of May and opening the window let in noise from the pipes and fumes.

Excellent location for visiting as a tourist. Only 100 metres from main tourist information centre and the Citibus hop-on, hop-off bus tour route. Only 150 metres from the harbour and the famous fish market. Close to many shops and restaurants. Comfortable, clean room. Helpful staff. Lots of choice of hot and cold food for breakfast.

No drawers or shelves for storing clothes. Only a short rack for hanging a few jackets. Not a problem if you are staying one or two nights, but we were staying for 6 nights and had no choice but to keep all our clothes in our suitcases on the floor, even though our Standard Room was big enough to be provided with a small drawer unit.

Perfect location in the heart of city and close to the ferry point. Nice lobby with comfortable seats. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The buffet breakfast spread was FANTASTIC! I booked 2 rooms of the same price. I stayed 3 nights in a big cosy room with big double bed. My 2 sisters (58 years old and 61 years old) stayed for 2 nights in a very small room with 2 single beds. All the beds are very comfortable.

Both rooms were listed as "with inner courtyard view" but it would be ideal if it was a nice courtyard view. Instead, my sisters' room (Rm 431) has a back lane parking view and there was no mini fridge in their room so they had to open one window slightly and put the salmon and ham on the window sill to keep them cool. My room (Rm 607) has the view many air-conditioner's compressors and the unpleasant noise everytime they discard glass bottles into the recycle bins. It was also quite dusty in the rooms. We have dust on the electric kettles, clothe hangers, shelves etc. Because of these slight "imperfection", I gave 8/10; otherwise this hotel would have a 10/10 🙂
