The location

The junkies shooting up in the entrance of the hotel for several hours without anything being done to remove them. Stepping over bloody cotton and syringes was not a good look for such a hotel on an otherwise beautiful Sunday morning ☹️

Staff were polite and very helpful, they addressed a problem we had with a window straightaway and efficiently Comfortable and clean room Great breakfast Location close to harbour and railway within short walking distance

The risk of experiencing noise from the street at night is disclosed in the hotel description, and also not surprising as the hotel is in the centre, near the harbour. For us the noise was especially loud as one of the windows could not close properly, which the hotel staff addressed straightaway and efficiently when we told them then noise was not a problem anymore.

Hotel is really centrally located - minutes from the Harbourside and about 15 mins walk from the main train station. I stayed here twice - once at the start of the trip and again at the end. On first stay - I had a cheaper, very small room without an opening window, although a fan was provided. I paid much more for the stay at the end of my trip and had a lovely room overlooking the square with an opening window. Breakfasts are amazing here - including cooked options, and even carrot cake and donuts. Having a supermarket right underneath which opens late is handy if you're travelling the next day for buying snacks & things.

The bathrooms including sink and the floor really didn't look very clean at all.

Great location central Bergen, 24 hour reception, really friendly and helpful staff. Beds comfy, breakfast fantastic Would definitely stay again

Our room did not have an external window which was fine but it would have been nice to let some fresh air in as it got quite warm even with air turned to cool. Also design fault with the bathroom, shower sprays all over the floor outside of cubicle which is fine as they leave a mop to move the water to the drain but just means you can't leave anything on bathroom floor. Minor issues though, overall super happy with our stay

Location was excellent. Room was pretty cool and had great lighting options, but might feel small after more than a couple of nights. Breakfast selection and quality of food was good. Because the hotel is low rise and composed of a few different buildings, it felt like somebody had thought about the design a bit.

No huge issues at all. A wider range of coffee and breakfast tea would have been nice - bitter coffee you can stand a spoon up in is a bit much for me first thing. It was also strange that they presented bacon and salmon on top of the egg options - it meant there wasn't enough bacon for anybody who actually wanted bacon, and reduced the vegetarian options for no reason.

-Position just in centre of Bergen (everything just 2 minutes walk.. Floyen funicular, bryggen, the harbour, Central square and the light rail stop) -Rema 1000 supermarket just on the next door of the hotel (this was really good for me as travelling on a budget) -reception 24/7 always available for any sort of problem (they helped me keeping my luggage when I went to Flåm) -great and various buffet breakfast included (sweet or salty food) -great competitive price (if you book in advance) considering the location and the breakfast included) -good size of the room and TV with cast included

-no fridge in the room -not the most cozy hotel.. Not much common areas for socialising with other tourists but the room was nice.

The location was absolutely excellent - so convenient for walking around the centre of Bergen. The room was a bit on the cramped/small scale, but would happily stay again on the basis of the location. The breakfast couldn't be faulted - a superb variety and it looked fresh and appetizing. Given the central location, we did find it quite quiet in the evening/night - much quieter than I was expecting.

We didn't have a lot of space in the room for luggage, but did manage fine. We found the room a bit too warm but did manage to adjust this.

the room was good size and shower very good we had a nice view and breakfast was excellent with tremendous variety of seeds fruit and yoghurt wonderful to have oat milk the receptionist on our last night was exceptional sorry we do not remember her name but a huge thank you for organising wine glasses and breakfast for us to take to airport as very early flight

no fridge in the room or kettle or glasses no refillable toiletry bottles not enough space to put clothes

We had chosen the hotel because we expected to see an extraordinary design hotel of 22 century with peculiar rooms. We really liked the designer's art. The hotel is exceptionally good located, very helpful staff. We addressed the staff on several occasions and received assistance. The staff gave to our child a farewell gift (a scarf) because it was windy outside. We didn't expect such care. Having a shop on the first floor is definitely a positive thing for a family to buy urgent items. We liked the restaurant, the breakfast. You can start sightseeing inside the hotel. The wooden house is installed in the part of the hotel. Haven't seen anything like it. The size of the room was convinient.

We read about drawbacks in the reviews before the trip and we were ready. Maybe , someday there will be a sonic shower and then the bathroom will be absolutely perfect. We can recommend to walk more and enjoy the city in order to sleep better in the crowded city center.

It in a converted bank which was unusual... my room was very nice. A bit hot on my first night but I adjusted the temp. Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect close to everything...would happily stay there again.

The TV went down. But it was across the whole hotel and it hadn't been fixed by the time I departed.. but it is what it is. Also the entrance to the hotel is also an entrance to a super market which confused me abit...
