my room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. the location was excellent and was easy to find in the dark. The app and online key were very easy to use.

I had read reviews that there was a loud bar in the same building and was dreading it. I only heard music on one of the nights and it didn’t disturb me. The entrance is shared with other businesses and is a bit dirty, could be better.

Should give option to drop bags for customers staying even at peak season and where the App or code doesnt work, there should be someone to support there.

The hotel is conveniently located not too far away from the central station. The room looked exactly as advertised on the photos and everything in the room was clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable and the view from the window was pretty decent.

Not really something that the hotel is responsible for but keep in mind the entry to the building in which the hotel is located is through a side entrance which didn't necessarily look very well maintained (when I visited). The room did not have a safe to lock any valuables in. Room entry is facilitated via a mobile app and there is no reception at this site, so if you want a physical key card you need to walk to another building where they have a receptionist. The second building is within a short walking distance and this did not inconvenience me personally, but might be something other visitors would want to be aware of when booking.

Excellent location, in the very centre, three or four minutes from the harbour. The room was not huge, but big enough considering Norway's prices. It was all clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was small but serviceable (toiletries were provided). It is a good place to stay three days in Bergen, or more, if you don't need luxury.

Not a big deal, but the mobile key did not work and we had to go to the reception of the other Magic building to get physical keys. It took five minutes, but it was very late, we had just arrived from Oslo and this was a bit annoying.

The location of the hotel is perfect, walking distance to all touristic places and Bergen port (Strandkaiterminalen), where you can buy excursions and tours to the fjords. Nice area where you can find great restaurants and bars. Also you have rooftop bar on the 7th floor in the hotel. The room is nice, modern and very confortable. Self check-in with app was easy thanks to detailed instructions. No breakfast in the hotel, but you can order it in another hotel, Magic Hotel Korskirken.

A little bit transparent door in the bathroom, beautiful, but not very functional. Also you can ask to leave luggage in the hotel Korskirken as favor, it is Ok, and we did it, but really it should be permitted as normal facility of the hotel.

Very private and secure with the app as a key. Beautiful design and comfortable bed. Nice sheets and very quiet. Location was just in town centre. Close to harbour, and all the stores. Also I was there to attend a wedding and the registery office was behind the hotel. Lots of restaurants and cafes around.

There was only a kettle alone in the room. Without cups , teas or coffees or anything else to use the kettle for. Don't know what was the point of the kettle. Also on the second day, the cleaning people didn't clean the bathroom sink and it was still dirty after they had cleaned the room.

Excellent location, close to everything. There were plenty of clothes hangers. I appreciated having a washing machine and dryer.

The app entry system. It took three phone calls to work out which room and which floor. Fine once we worked it out. Not properly cleaned. Someone obviously had a party there before us. The diswasher, which we didn't use hadn't been emptied and was FULL of party crockery. Balloons filled with confetti were still stuck to the ceiling and I was finding pieces of confetti stuck to me at the next two hotels I visited.

Very convenient location - close to Bergen Centre and the train stop for getting to/ from airport. I was a little worried about the app-based key system, but it worked fine. The rooms have everything you need for a short stay, and the shopping centre location means you can grab anything you need. The rooftop bar is a nice addition too.

The cleanliness could be improved - there were lipstick/ makeup residues left on the sink, a squashed bug on the shower divider, a used coffee stirrer on the chair. Also, the listing does make you aware that the centre location is noisy, but it's worth noting that on Saturday, there was loud music until about 2 am, so bring earplugs! The other nights I had no issue with noise. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay.

Access codes/welcome messages sent promptly. Spacious, airy, light, clean and very comfortable bed. Gorgeous rain shower, complimentary nice toiletries, plenty of towels, charging sockets conveniently by the bed. Everything felt very safe and secure. Lovely shopping mall with great food hall in the basement just across the road. Fantastic access to public transport/light rail for airport. Walking distance to attractions/harbour. Felt luxurious and great value for Bergen! My first time in a self-check in hotel with no reception & I would definitely stay again!!

The self-check in won't be for everyone. There is no reception on site and you literally need your mobile phone to open every door in the building meaning you always need to have it on you and it always needs to be charged. For anyone like me that might need reassurance about staying in this kind of hotel, everything worked great for me and it was quite fun and felt very safe.
