Location is excellent, close to every single spot around 500-600meter. Comfort and the meal is also good but the elevator is quite old and not enough for the hotel capacity.

Additionally, the staff her name is Susanne in the breakfast area was a disaster!!! She is watching you out when you have breakfast and so rude in terms of turn of phrase!!!! This staff at the breakfast area does not fit with hotel quality and has to be sent away ... If i had a time, i was going to report her for harrasment but unfortunately had no time!!! The hotel has to take care of this issue for itself and for its improvement...

Central location five minutes walk from National theatre underground rail station. Next to tram routes for 18 and 19. Good facilities and friendly helpful staff. Oslo city centre is quite compact so you can easily walk to most venues and there are plenty of trams and buses. Good food selection catering for vegans and non- vegans. Breakfast and evening meal provided. This is unusual and a definite plus as eating out is expensive. A popular hotel for visitors.

Arrived over National holiday weekend 17 and 18th of May so city centre busy and noisy into early hours. Tram lines outside hotel and trams run late into the night. Due to arriving late the dining area is open six to eight pm so food becomes scarce close to the end of the time.

Great location, 5 mins walk to Parliament. Dinner was very tasty and appreciated it was included. 1 main entree and side plus 3 salads, bread, butter. Also had coffee/tea and cake between 3-5 pm. Room was towards the street, the tram was passing by but it wasn’t too much noise.

The room was not cleaned (we stayed for 2 nights). Not sure if this was common (we were not informed and we didn’t see it written anywhere. Could not check in earlier because the room wasn’t ready - if they don’t clean the rooms daily I find it hard to believe they cannot be ready with a room before 3 pm.

An excellent place to stay - especially if, like me, you are in transit through Oslo and travelling on your own. Takes a little extra effort to get from the station - but it is worth it. The area is great to walk around and see a little of the city. The hotel is clean, comfortable and welcoming - and has some nice humorous touches in the decor which made me smile. Carrot cake and coffee in the afternoon was very welcome (check in can be after 3.30); supper of a good soup and plentiful salads was just what I wanted (there was fish as a main course) and it's so good not to have to go out to find food when you are tired and travelling the next day too. Breakfast was excellent - a fabulous red fruit smoothie was the highlight for me. Staff were welcoming and helpful - I shall certainly stay again. Another Clarion "hit" for me.

Perfect breakfast, friendly working staff, great location. The room size is nice, and beds and a shower are good There is coffee and cake in the afternoon, and a respectable dinner. Saves you a lot of money in Oslo. I have to say really value for money.

Sound Isolation could be better, both from outside and also from other rooms. I had problems sleeping. There is no cleaning of the room and no new towels unless you make a request, not the hotel standard, but that was not a problem for us.

Great location, extremely nice staff, the breakfast had everything- an amazing variety of items even fruit smoothies. Included was an afternoon cake and coffee. In addition dinner was included which each day had three interesting salads, soup, and entree.

A noisy night club kept us awake. Don’t get a room at the back of the property. They have a complaint in with the city about the club. I hope they get it resolved because I really liked the hotel.

Breakfast was exceptional,dinner, as well as coffee and cake in the afternoon was also included in the price of the stay which was very good and a huge bonus given the cost of eating out in Oslo.The location was excellent,within walking distance of almost every tourist attraction in the city and easy to walk from the main train station.

The rooms were a little dated and there was a lot of noise from the street and local bars till 3am at the weekend

Cozy and spacious room, great location, and amazing friendly and professional staff. The breakfast/cake/dinner was also great. All in all, great value for money, especially considering the location. The warm floor in the bathroom was a much-appreciated surprise.

The hotel is not the youngest and it's starting to show. A water kettle in the room would also be a great addition. Also, the inside of the closet was somewhat dusty. All in all, still GREAT value for money.

The beds were very comfortable and the sofa was made an extra bed for my kid. Bathroom was well equipped and personnel was very helpful and kind. Fika, breakfast and dinner were included in the price and the dinner food was tasty as buffet, with one meat main course, and soup as well as different types of salads. We had an early check-out and the personnel was very kind and had packed breakfast bags for us. The location is good, around 10 min to shopping area, central station, opera house, city hall and other tourist attractions.

The elevator is a bit small, especially with a baby strolley in.

Great reception from Alberto who helped us settle with my son at a very late arrival. Excellent breakfast, afternoon coffee and cake and delicious dinner. The half-board is the best value for money. Perfect location at 5 minutes walking distance to the National Theater train station, city center and harbour.

Nothing in particular that we didn't like, yet an improvement could be to also have something for children, such as a book/games/drawing corner....
