The hotel is truly cozy and beautifully designed, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and high-quality options to start the day right. One of the best aspects is its prime location—everything is within walking distance, so I didn’t need to use any transportation to explore the city. The rooms are very comfortable, and the bathrooms are well-designed, featuring heated floors that add a nice touch, especially in colder weather. I stayed on the top floor, where the window was quite small. While there wasn’t much of a view, it was actually nice not to have any direct neighbors or overlooking buildings. I’ve seen some mixed reviews, but personally, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, and they speak English, so communication was easy.

The hotel was lovely, the staff were polite and helpful and the bag drop was really easy. The breakfast really was superb. Fresh fruit, juice, variety of breads, vegan and gluten free options, meats and waffles. Rooms were clean and warm. 2 Single duvets on the double bed through us off a little bit but all in all a lovely stay! Hotel was just outside a tram stop, so there is easy connections to the city and train station!

To be honest we didn't expect the room to be so small, it was difficult to store suitcases and there was nowhere to unpack clothes with only a small hanging rail. Despite this we would stay here again, but would book a larger room 😅

The hotel is stylish, modern, very clean and very close to the city center and National Theatre subway station! My single room was small but comfortable and well organized. The shower was surprisingly spacious, with good cosmetics and heating floors. Bed was very comfortable with amazing sheets. Breakfast is very good - not too many options but everything is home made and great quality - I appreciate that approach.

There were some problems with WiFi but it was fixed quite fast.

I loved the staff at the hotel. They were very nice, helpful, friendly, experienced, well trained, and courteous. The breakfast buffet is plentiful, very fresh, local and international with scrambled eggs, fried eggs, waffles, pancakes and delicious sheets, local cheese, fresh fruit and veg etc. Allergies and intolerances such as lactose and gluten are also catered for at the buffet. The room was comfortably furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. I liked the location of the hotel as it was in a central part of the city, close to Slottparken and Slott; the station for metro, tram, train and Flytoget called "Nationalteatret" is about 650 metres away.

Only our bathroom was a bit cramped; you couldn't take a shower and then wash your hands or even go to the toilet without getting your feet wet. Because the entrance door to the room and the bathroom door frame kept bumping into each other, as the room was quite narrow, some of the paint was peeling off the door leaf and the door frame.

The Breakfast is amazing, and the breakfast staff are so efficient and welcoming, nothing ran out for the whole breakfast period. The room (standard with pull out bed) was huge and very clean, it’s an old building so don’t expect 5 star fittings but we were extremely comfortable. Room cleaned to perfection every day. Central location easy walking distance to centre.

There was an issue with the toilet not flushing/continuously flushing, due to a sticky button, it wasn’t remedied by the hotel despite making them aware. Very limited tv channels.

The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The hotel was finished and furnished to a good standard and well maintained throughout. It was in close proximity and a short walk from the majority of the attractions and sights that we wanted to see. The bed was large, clean and comfortable and the shower hot with good pressure. The breakfast options were outstanding with something for everyone including some local items as well as items to cater for Europeans and Americans.

There is nothing that I experienced with this hotel or its staff that I can comment negatively or constructively on.

Super gracious and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast including fresh avocados. 4 minute walk to Holbergs Plass tram station. Accessible to 7-11, Rema supermarkets. Shower and hand-wash from Face company, Sweden.

Shower area in bathroom is quite cramped. Complementary tea/coffee bags are not refilled daily. Bath floor towel would have been added to 4 towels. A bit noisy all night due to the traffic as the hotel is right on a big road junction.

I think I have been to almost all Scandic hotels in Oslo and this was my favorite by far. The room was more spacious and cozier than the other ones. The staff was practical and helpful. The breakfast was amazing with lots of cold and warm options (including Norwegian waffles and brown cheese!). The location is very good, just a 7 min walk from Nationaltheatret station and close to the city center in general. Amazing.

The only thing I missed was a smart TV. Otherwise, everything was great.

Air conditioning... first of all air conditioning in Oslo is nonsense, when outside temperature was 20*C max. Inside the room there is centralized air conditioning, and it was on and cold 24/24. I asked twice the reception, they told me that guests cannot turn it off or slow it down. Moreover, there was the constant noise of the fan pushing cool air in the room. As a result, the room was exceedingly cold and at mornings I woke up with nose dripping. That is simply unhealthy and unsustainable. While the room was comfortable, the bathroom was tiny and without hangers for clothes

Room was clean, bathroom looked recently refurbished. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Location was good. found the bed very comfortable.

The room itself looked quite dated and had ceiling beams which were easy to hit your head on when getting out of bed. I personally wouldn't want this room again because of this. Key lock on door was temperamental and took several attempts to open at times. occasional tram noise in the night could be annoying.
