This was an amazing selection! The property was 5 minutes away from where I wanted to be (Christmas markets) which is also a very central location. I was able to walk around for the majority of time and, the only times I didn't, it's because it was too cold. The room had pretty much everything for basic needs: shampoo and shower gel in the shower, towels, duvets, lamps.

The downside (or bright side, depending on if you're a half full / half empty glass kind of person) is that some things were not readily available. The hair dryer could only be requested at the reception upon need, so if you're planning on having a shower make sure you ask for it beforehand. Also the room didn't come with a kettle or teas, they were available in the coffee shop at the reception. The breakfast was available for a price, but I really didn't feel like it was worth the money.

The location was brilliant, walking distance to the main square, which at the time of visit, had the Christmas markets. There were plenty of restaurants and shops around the hotel. It was just a few steps to the underground-making exploring the area very easy. The staff were super friendly and helpful - giving us lots of information about things to do. There was a free baggage drop which we used to make the most of our final day.

The centre of Oslo was a very long way from the airport (1 hour driving) - we got the airport train which was much quicker but almost as costly as an Uber - I should have looked ahead of time for a local train.

I love staying here, its my second time here and I definitely WILL come back. You get so much for your money and is almost in the middle of town. Oslo is horrible with Google maps and you get lost 627364637 times if you're not known in the area BUT the placement of this hotel made it very easy to find without Google maps and it was the perfect distance from places like Oslo streetfood or Oslo s. And the staff is very nice!

Only thing I can come up with is that one of the people in our group's hotel card stopped working, which was kind of weird and there should maybe have been two trashcans since we were four people staying two nights

The proximity to city center is invaluable, in spite of the quality of the transportation, the easyness of taking a stroll to reach anywhere is paramount. The rooms are of comfy nature, the lights are oddily switched and distributed along with a very sad feeling out of the projected light. Well, it's easy. Switch'em off!

Two minor issues which for a 6 feet tall man are troublesome. The roll dispenser is of a strange nature but the major hassle depends on being placed at shoulder height, thus becoming impossible to sit comfortably. Well you need to seat, can't stand like a horse! The other is the mattress of a bad quality, too thin and moving during the night.

This is a great hotel right in the heart of Oslo. The staff were friendly and accommodating and even beat this site on price when I had to unexpectedly book an extra night. They kept me in the same room and were very friendly and understanding. It's close to Trams, Busses, is in walking distance of the central station as well as the palace, government building and cathedral.

The hotel is situated in quite a built up area of town, as a result the noise at night was quite a lot at some times, there was a sort of low mechanical hum that went all night long. Not somewhere for a light sleeper. The elevator was also small so sometimes there was a queue to use it.

Located two minutes walking from the city centre, pleasant staff - 24/7 there at your service, clean rooms, the best price in Oslo. What more could you ask for? We were allowed to leave our luggage there early in the morning when we came in Oslo, hours before our checking in and, also, on the last day, after checking out - since we were leaving Oslo late in the evening - our luggage stayed in the storage the whole day, so we could enjoy that last day, without carrying our suitcases all around or paying extra money for it to be stored somewhere else.

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. For a solo traveler, the room was quite big and I felt like it wouldn't be cramped even if there were 2 people staying. My bed was a double bed, which was quite comfy. There was a desk and chair which was perfect for when I did some work on my laptop. There was also a comfy seat for relaxing and a side table for me to put my stuff in. What surprised me the most was the small dedicated "walk-in" closet area where I could just place my luggage and hang some of my clothes. It was perfect so my luggage and clothes weren't messing up the room. Plus the location is really great! It's close enough to the central station and just a 15-minute walk or less to the popular touristy areas.

One of the lights kept going on and off, which means that the bulb needs changing. Still not a dealbreaker!

Privacy (equals to good sleep and feeling like you are on holiday), staff printed my boarding pass, staff speak fluent English, Cafe on site and the breakfast option is Value For Money. Left luggage facility for free, reasonable rate for late check-out, good knowledge of local area by staff, lift access to room, room securely locks. So so close to all the main sites.

Only one bin in room, No glass in bathroom for the toothbrush, etc. Long hairs stuck on the wall of the shower unit (not my I am very short haired), room was slightly dusty but still breathable so ok.

Great location is visit Oslo downtown. Walking distance to everything !! I wouldn't use this place for the family vacation, but if traveling alone and need a place to crash to 2 or 3 nights, this place is good. Very reasonable price for the area. There is no doubt much higher rated hotels in the immediate vicinity that are absolutely amazing, but the hit on your wallet will be amazingly high also !!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I knew what I was getting into when I booked this hotel. My goal was a very central location, good price, a bed and hot shower ! I have no complaints about t is hotel.

Very close to the train station and the parliament building, as well as shops.

The hotel is right next to the tram line, and trams made a hack lot of noise during the night. Shutting windows up can effectively silence the noise but also makes the room hot. The inner court room assigned to me initially did not face the street but the noise from the ventilation shaft right outside my window was nearly unbearable.
