Breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of options, no more than a 5 minute walk (most were about 2 minutes) to tour meeting points, food options everywhere - convenience stores, small kiwi supermarket, so many restaurants, etc all very close (1 to 5 minutes walking). The harbor is less than a 2 minute walk. The room was small but cozy with plenty of radiators, heated floor in bathroom, and windows that you can open. Rooms even had a universal power adapter. It was very quiet but we were in a corner on the top floor. You could hear people on the street from time to time, mostly at night, but it wasn't loud at all. Showers are small, but that seems to be the way Norwegian showers are designed, not specific to this hotel. Staff was courteous and happy to help or answer any questions. Free waffles in the lobby nightly as well as free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies all day. Also tap water is not only safe to drink - it was probably the best water ever! It can seem pricier than a few other places around, but when you figure in the savings of brekkie it's a pretty good deal. It's a fantastic choice for a hotel in this area.

Breakfast hours shift on weekends to an hour later. Not a big deal though, and that's all I can think of that we didn't like. It was great!

This hotel is in the center of town. It is good point to go to bus station, port etc. The staffs were very friendly. To cable car station I must take a taxi (can also by Bus, but an additional App is needed for payment), because cable car station is about 3km far away. Tromso is a very nice small town. It is a best point to chase northern light from here!

The reception is closed at 11pm. The breakfast on weekend is at 8:00am, on working day is at 7:00am. As I checked out at 8:00, there was noboday at the desk of reception. So I gave my card to staff, who was responsible for breakfast.

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage the day we arrived even though we didn't have a reservation till the following day. This helped us in taking another tour out of the area that required an overnight stay. The location was perfect for any other tours as the meeting points were within minutes walking distance from this hotel. Additionally there were several dining options nearby but their breakfast which was included was quite sumptuous on its own. A public bus stop was across the road and you could travel anywhere including the airport for a fraction of the cost of airport transport or taxis / Uber. Overall great value relative to other properties.

Not much to say.

The best thing is the location you are across the street from the bus station to the airport and right in the middle of the town. Breakfast was also good, the staff nice and helpful. Beds a bit on the soft side. They have a small snack in the lobby every evening between 7-9 with some fruit ,waffles,tea and coffee

Bathroom is quite small and the shower tiny... I don't know how a larger person fits in there. Also for me the fact that you can hear when the persons from the other rooms around me are using the bathroom is a big minus. The evening coffee was very bad

Location was great in the center of Tromso. Staff were exceptional from reception being very friendly and helpful, The breakfast lady was great and always had a smile on her face and housekeeping were also friendly and helpful. Loved the night time waffles, the breakfast was great and cake and tea and coffee facilities were available 24/7. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot, with good pressure and heated floors. The view from the room was straight across the water to the cable car. Hotel located directly opposite the bus stop.

Room was a bit small, but we booked a budget double. Bathroom was compact and a little bit old. Carpet in hallway was a bit worn.

The hotel is in the city center, so you can easily reach everything you need like shops, restaurants, main bus (bus to Narvik) and cruise (Hurtigruten/havila) terminal in 5/10 mins. The bus stop for the airport was just in front of the hotel. It was perfect for us that visited Norway without a car. Common space and room were spotless, huge and delicious buffet breakfast. Everyone made us feel welcome from the lovely staff at the reception, to the breakfast staff and last but not least, the cleaning staff. We felt so pampered there that we decided to go back for our last night in Tromso.

We were looking for an hotel with the parking area and this hotel has one. It was not directly in the hotel area, but not too far from it. We didn't have big expectations because of all the reviews that we read here, but we were really surprised: we got a room with a nice view, the stuff was very friendly, the location was great. The room was very clean and it was cleaned every day. The breakfast was ok. It was a good thing to have an hotel with the breakfast included in Tromso.

The bed was a bit old. The room furniture was a bit old. But with the great view out of our room window it wasn't a problem.

The parking spaces are actually not in/at the hotel as stated but few blocks away, in the Tromsø underground parketing. After all we didn't mind, it is normal for Tromsø and it worked well. The instructions were clear and there are many spots.

This was my 2nd stay at this hotel. The hotel is very central and close to bus stops to/from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast are superb. Lovely scrambled egg, bacon and beans. Plus a large selection of cheese, ham and salad type items. They serve fruit juices and various types of tea and coffee. During the day there is free tea, coffee and cake available too. I would describe the rooms as cosy. The bathroom is compact but the shower was great. There is also a hairdryer. There are radiators with hangers to dry your damp clothes and towels (also great for warming up your pyjamas). A Kettle is provided with tea bags/coffee.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

The staff is super helpful in giving you some hints on where to see what or if you have other questions. The room itself was small but clean and more than enough to rest in between exploring city or going on a tour. Breakfast is really good. However, there are not so many seating spaces for peak breakfast hours. Keep in mind, they dont have a restaurant, which for me is not a problem because I like to go to a local restaurant.
