Very spacious suite, huge bed with a very soft mattress, the sauna next to the bathroom was very good after long walks in the cold. The breakfast buffet offered many choices, also for me as a vegetarian. Location of the hotel is perfect, late checkout was possible without additional costs. All in all a very comfortable stay, we´ll definitely come back.

The staff was always very helpful and kind at breakfast. As new guests are constantly coming for breakfast, it would be great if the cutlery and serviettes were restocked more often. Although we had a big suite there was not enough space to put your clothes. There was a small dressing room with a long clothes rail, but only 6 hangers. We more or less lived out of a suitcase. A small wardrobe would be desirable.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The room had an empty minibar which was helpful to storing our baby's milk and the staff were able to put our cooler packs (for our baby's milk) in the freezer for onward travel.Breakfast was tasty, fresh and abundant. There was hot water for tea in the hotel lobby outside the breakfast buffet opening hours.

Mainly the room. Our double room (427) was a little small when traveling with a baby - we had to move the bed to get his stroller next to it. Switching off lights from the headboard also turned off the bedside sockets, meaning our phones had not charged overnight for our onward journey. We booked the room thinking we'd have a kettle for warming up our baby's milk as room description on booking.com listed all rooms as having coffee and tea making facilities. The staff explained the room had had a kettle previously but that as per instructions of the hotel chain, they had been removed - a significant downgrade to us.

Excellent location- right in the city centre, a very short walk (less than 5 minutes) to the pick up points for most tour buses. The Airport Express bus drops off in front of the hotel and picks up in a street nearby the hotel (you can pay for the bus ticket when you get on the bus, no need to pre-book). Exceptional buffet breakfast with a large selection of hot and cold foods and drinks.

The rooms are small and dated but are clean and comfortable. Only one of the bedsides has a charging point. The receptionist forgot to mention that breakfast is from 8am-11am on weekends only, so we missed out on breakfast on the Monday because it closed at 10am without us realising (the breakfast staff were lovely and did offer to make us some toast).

Don't sleep on the family suite of this hotel! The in-room sauna is amazing. We really loved the space and layout of the room, so we could put our baby to bed and still have the entire living room and kitchen table. I researched all of the hotels in Tromso looking for something with just a little extra space, since our baby is still napping and starting to crawl a lot. This suite was perfect for us! We could bring some food back for dinner and eat at the kitchen table while our baby got to crawl around and play after sightseeing from the stroller. Loved the separate areas/layout of the bathroom, especially the separate water closet. It does have a shower and not a bath, which I just couldn't find information about online before we got there. The water pressure of the shower is perfect. We loved the empty fridge and coffee/tea options in the room. The bedroom had a nice walk-in closet for suitcases. The foyer at the entrance of the room was great for storing wet coats and boots. The breakfast was a large spread and I really appreciated the separate gluten free (and lactose free) area that offered celiac safe options. The smoked salmon was fantastic. The location was so easy for accessing the public busses, AirPort Express busses, and all downtown tours/shopping. Overall, this room within this hotel were fantastic and the only large option I could find in the city for an affordable price. That sauna was a highlight of the trip though!

Housekeeping comes late in the day, so there was no early checkin option. But, they had luggage storage and offered us soft drinks while we waited. The lobby lounge was really nice too!

Room was tiny, but I booked a single room, so it wasn't a huge surprise. The main floor of the hotel is comfortable and welcoming. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The main pros of the hotel for me were the central location and the breakfast. The location is right in the middle of Tromso center, near the water, tons of restaurants, shops and bus stops convenient to the airport and other destinations. The breakfast was fantastic - tons of options and well organized.

The floors above the lobby are dated and could use a little updating. Unfortunately, the elevator didn't work for most of my stay which is unfortunate as I was staying on the 4th floor. Nothing that would prevent me from staying there again though.

There are no budget hotels in Tromso, so I booked this one. Perfect location close to the harbour and busy town, very quiet and comfortable. Small room was nicely decorated, modern and stylish, clean, good powerful shower in the bathroom. Beautiful view of the snowy church from the large window. Lovely friendly staff, reception busy but very efficient. The breakfast is very good, lots of choice, delicious, the breakfast staff were so lovely and friendly, coming round to top up our coffees, very smiley and a nice positive energy for the morning. I do recommend this hotel, perfect location, great staff, would stay here again!

Kettle, tea/coffee making facilities in the room. TV could not be watched from the bed.

Everything ran smoothly, the premises were clean, the staff was very helpful, the food was very tasty I like very much the idea of having access to coffee or tea at any time, especially if you have an early flight or a late night tour. The location of the hotel is excellent near the pier and the amazing view of the mountains, the main local transport, local sentrum shops, meeting points for tours, Tourism Office, etc

I was on my own and I had to stand up several times to bring my food and drink to the table during the breakfast, it was fine but the kitchen staff cleared my table so quickly that when I came back to the table, the food or the drink that I left before was gone and I had to start all over again. Perhaps the use of trays could help this process

Location was great--centrally located to all activities and shopping. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable (heated floors in the bathroom are really nice). And the breakfast spread was amazing! So many wonderful things to choose from--loved the breakfast!! Kept me full most of the day.

Nothing not to like. Room was a bit small, but as we only needed it for a shower and a place to sleep, the size really didn't matter. I don't travel to spend time in the hotel rm. I travel to get out and see things.

Amazing, exceptional breakfast and atmosphere! The rooms were compact but really nice. The bunk beds were not as comfortable as the normal beds however we expected this, don’t share if you’re not comfortable with the people you’re travelling with. The staff were really great and friendly, they were very efficient and helpful.

The door on 423 was a bit stiff so it was annoying to always open it with a struggle however it wasn’t a big issue. We didn’t get a view from our room, we just had another building when we looked out the window

Hotel is under renovation, to be honest we were not very impressed at the arrival, but in general we found a nice and comfortable hotel. Very friendly receptionist, explained all the situation, change of entrance ecc. Rooms facing internal areas of the hotel, very quiet. Size in the range of the Norwegian standard, good for 2. Comfortable beds, clean linen and bath towels, room was very clean too, notwithstanding the fact that there are works on several floors. Breakfast is very good, ample choice of food from deli's to yogurt and pastries. Several points with gluten free food. One thing to notice, and for which we thank the staff, is that we had the ferry leaving at 1AM, and we asked if -after checkout- they could either keep the luggage or let us sit in the lobby for some time. The receptionist offered us an area on floor #4 with sofas, tables and chairs and we had full access to complimentary coffee and tea until we left.
