We stayed for four nights in one of the white cabins and it was incredible. The resort looks even better than the pictures and has everything you can wish for. The white cabins have a large bed, warm shower, airconditioning and all have a lovely balcony with a view of the ocean. the resort has a private beach with a large coral reef located 100 meter off the shore. perfect for snorkeling. the pool is super large and also very deep (3 meters). the resort has its own restaurant and the food was alle very good and regularly priced. the best thing about the resort for us personally were the people running it. it’s owned by a family that is half Danish half Philippino and at the and of our stay we would almost feal like part of the family ourselves. super friendly helpful, lots of stories and ideas and can arrange everything. honestly our best stay in the Philippines!

so some small things that could be improved. - there was a little to much furniture in the rooms, it made the room feel a bit cramped. - it’s a half hour drive to moalbaol city center. not a big deal, because you can rent a motorbike for 350 pesos.

Not sure if words can express what we felt about our stay! From the amazing staff (Chef Toni (Jack-of-all-trades), Liza, Alma, and the owners), to the incredible views, the tantalizing food, and the wonderful activities that were close by. The staff went above and beyond. It might be a little far from the airport but so worth it! You will enjoy the serene settings, the mouthwatering food (go for the sweet and sour pork!), the massages that you can get right on the property, the snorkeling by the reef again on the property, and have the staff make you feel so welcome and comfortable. Cuestas is very lucky to have Chef Toni as he always made sure that everything was in order when the owners finally got to have a vacation. We absolutely loved our stay and if you want the most memorable experience that will leave you wanting more, come and stay at Cuestas

We were 4 friends staying for 5 days at Cuestas Beach Resort and we had a very relaxed and enjoyable time. The resort was nice and clean, beautifully located on the beach. From the cute bamboo huts we had a nice view overlooking the sea with a spectacular sunset or overlooking the garden area of the resort. The owners and staff were both friendly and very accommodating. Drinks and food was tasty and ambience great. Although it is a bit secluded we found this to be a blessing being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you feel like a change of scenery it’s only a 30 minute scooter ride away from Moalboal or a 10 minute ride to Lumbug beach We would love to come back. Perfect getaway for couples and families. GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY

Within our 3,5 weeks traveling to the Philippines 🇵🇭 on 7 different islands Cuestas Beach Resort has by far been the best hotel. Amazing natural construction, directly at the beach, very big and clean pool, coffee and kettle at the rooms, each room with a wonderful terrace with an amazing garden and sea view, the owners (Mongs and Nigi) are absolutely lovely and helpful. The food was outrageous (thanks Tony!!!), all the staff was always smiling, laughing and extremely helpful. They saw me one day laying in the garden under a palm tree on my towel and brought me a sun bed mattress 🫶🏽. From the hotel all the excursions are very close (highly recommended the Canyoneering), in the hotel you can rent motor bikes. We just really loved to stay there.

Big, clean pool with flowing water and mild chemical treatment 3. Clean and spacious Deluxe room with very quiet AC, comfortable bed and accessories 4. Hot and cold shower 5. Relaxing view from the balcony of our room 6. Free breakfast 7. Very accommodating staff and friendly owners And most importantly, VERY STRONG WIFI, even in our room!

We liked everything actually....We can't wait to be back. If there's something we didn't like, it'd probably be the beach because it was rocky. But it's totally fine because it still offers a relaxing view, especially during sunset.

Wonderful family run resort! Beautiful grounds. The room feels simple, but comfortable. Outstanding views from the balcony! I enjoyed doing my own morning yoga in the shade under the massage Gazebo, Love the pool, and visiting with the the owners family.

There’s not much in Badian, So if you want to eat at other restaurants or have a sense of town, you’re going to need to drive 20minutes, which was easy to do on the scooters we rented from the property. It is closer however to Canyoneering and almost all of the stunning waterfalls that youll want to explore in the area. MUST Drive up into the jungle! It’s a rough road, so only do it if your scooter driving skills are pretty good, but wave to the children and they are delightful, and the views are gorgeous!

Nice location with a reasonable sized swimming pool. The food seemed a little expensive at first, but then when we received the orders, the portion sizes on some dishes were very big, so the next time we did not need to order one dish for each of us. Staff were excellent....very helpful and efficient, responding quickly to a couple of unforeseen issues in one of our rooms.

There is no 'beach', as in actual sand, so the name 'Beach Resort' is a little misleading. This seems to be normal though for any resort next to the sea. Still we had a nice time exploring the shallow waters at low tide.

Everything was perfect, the best accommodation I had in the Philippines.😍 The owner and the staff are amazing and very helpful. They give there best that you have a perfect stay. Also the acitivities they offer are great. They help you organise everything and have a really nice guide for showing you around. The location couldn't be better, directly at the beach, where you can go snorkelling and see amazing sunsets. There are lot's of beautiful waterfalls in the area and it is not war from the sardines run and the turtles in Moalboal. I can highly recommend staying there.☺️

The staff were exceptional and made us feel welcomed and at home! The resort is very beautiful. I love the atmosphere and the location of the rooms. It’s serene and quiet and you can hear the birds chirping in the morning. They let you pay for everything at check out, so you can just grab lunch and have it billed to your room and pay for it at check out. That also includes all the activities you want to do as well. We did canyoneering and rented a scooter from there! everything was just hassle free and beautiful!

the shower can get a bit of an upgrade as it can get really messy and wet - the shower curtains were also making it hard to shower properly as it was being flimsy everywhere

- the view is amazing - the pool is really big and you can enjoy sunset from there - we did all our tours there (canyoning, tumalog falls, whale shark watching, dolphing watching) - transport organized by them (pickup/ scooter rental on site) - restaurant food was really good - staff is super friendly and helpful, they will gladly answer all your questions - chill out location to have all cebu activities organized by them (this is a double edged sword, see below)

-rooms are quite old and need renovations - sunbwds are not comfy and should be replaced - room cleaning only based on request, should be daily by default - bed was not comfy - this is an only cash location where you cannot pay with card, this is not good and should be a standard to pay with credit card and / or paypal/gcash (…) - you have to realize that this is an all experience resort for activities and that there is no busy life around, in the direct sorrounding there is no infrastructure, next one is moalboal (30+ minute scooter drive); so you choose to be disconnected here
