The room was very clean. Staff very friendly. Location is great for getting out and about. There are a number of shops,restaurants and tram lines in walking distance. Toilet roll, towels, and body wash were in the bathroom as well as 2 each of the tea bags, sugar sachets and coffee sachets by the kettle in our room.

The only issues we had were the door key card stopped working numerous times throughout our stay so had to keep going back down to receptionist to sort it out. The room we were in was facing the train station and it could be rather noisy in the mornings with the trains and trams. We only had breakfast the first morning as found it was rather limited and it wasn't to our liking.

The hotel is right in front of the train station and really easy to locate, not to mention that the station for the airport bus is around 100 metres away from the hotel. That made it easy and safe to get there. It has nice amenities, confortable beds and pillows and it's only 15 minutes from the city center. There is also a really huge mall across the street, on the other side of the train station, for shopping and such. The girls at reception are always nice and you have the possibility to leave your luggage there after the check out. All in all, every stay there has been nice.

The only shady thing about the location is the narrow street that you have to take to the city center. Late at night, you can hear the sound of the rats. If you are not a fan, I don't recommend midnight strolls through the city.

The hotel is near really nice building of railway station and approx. 30 min. walk from city center (Rynek). Room was clean and nice.

The hotel doesn't accept credit card with different name then name of Booking reservation. I don't have answer on my question why. They sent me only the same information "The card's holder name is different from the guest's name. It is not possible to charge this card.". Fortunately, you can ignore the warning message, check-in online on the hotel's web (they send check-in link) and pay online by whatever card you want. Anyway, i really don't understand why i cannot pay by my wife's credist card. I travel across Europe using Booking reservations and this is the only accommodation with this condition I came across.

1. location is near train station, I could take morning train to other places easily and drop my heavy luggage quickly without long walking 2. The double room is very spacious and warm with 2 electric heating machines, it would be great for winter days. 3. duvet is soft and warm, felt comfortable when sleeping or laying on the bed to use mobile. 4. dry clothes quickly by the towel dryer located at the bathroom (1 day) 5. responsive and nice receptionists (quick reply no matter via booking.com messages or face to face) 6. could go back by elevator and don’t need to go up stairs 7. supermarket and restaurants nearby, I could buy water and dinner easily

1. wifi is not good on the 3rd floor(not able to upload photos to instagram, Google map does not work properly, no matter route planning or dwarves locating, I have to use my own mobile data to upload photos and do the route planning with Google map) but is okay on the 4th floor. the best signal is on the 5th floor(I could upload photos to instagram) 🫠🫠🫠 2. online check in alert which requests for credit card details is a little bit annoying since some customers will make bookings on train or in rural places in hurry whose internet connection is unstable…what I felt is this hotel expects me always have good internet connection 🫠🫠🫠but I always went to some rural places 🫠🫠🫠 3. no free bottle of water(other hotels will provide at least 1 bottle of water), I have to buy it by myself

Everything was above and beyond perfect. Big and very clean room, with big and super clean bathroom. Room is equipped with all necessary items(mini fridge, coffee set, cups, TV etc.), Bed and pillows are super comfortable, clean. Very friendly and professional personnel who speaks English. Nice and tasty breakfast. Good location nearby railway station, 10 min.away from historical center (walk). The price of the room is an additional bonus (very cheap for the level of service they are providing). I would definitely recommend it and will stay hear when I come to Wroclaw again.

There was no such thing

Superb... amazing value for money. As we were visiting the fabulous Christmas market of Wroclaw, hotels were a little pricey at the Market Square, so we opted to stay at the train station area. It was marvellous. An enormous stylish comfortable room with floor to ceiling windows on 2 sides. We stayed in 404. Taxi to the square was £3 and we bought the 4 museums pass for less than a tenner. There's an enormous shopping mall behind the train station, if that's your thing. Breakfast is a non fussy affair and optional. I think it was about £6 pp. juice, fresh coffee and eggs cooked to order. Also lots of Polish items, such as sausages, meats and apple cakes. Lovely kind and helpful staff throughout. We are highly recommending the Hotel Sofia for comfort, central location, affordability and helpful and professional staff.

I liked the hotel very very much, the room was cozy and nice, with everything I could need.

I didn't like the other guests to be honest. It was impossible for me to sleep since people on my floor(5th) were keeping knocking on each other's doors(I think there was a big company there) and slamming them - at a certain point I got knocked even on my door. When it stopped after a couple of hours some other people came back and made a lot of noise in the room close to mine(around 4am), startin even music. I couldn't spot though from which exact rooms all this mess was coming from. However, this is just my experience and this speaks highly about the quality of the people I had the misfortune to share my floor with, not about the quality of the hotel, in fact I very much liked everything about the facility :)

The location was perfect; being opposite Wrocław Głowny it allowed me easy transfer to trains on my onward journey.

The lighting in the room was dim and could do with an upgrade or at least a higher Watt bulb! There ought to be a few spare toilet rolls in the bathroom (mine ran out!)...and a better impression could be made, with little additional expense, by providing a few toiletry samples for guests like shampoo and conditioner. Oh...and the instructions for the air-conditioning could be more prominently displayed in the room. Luckily I didn't need it. But overall, Hotel Sofia provides excellent value.

The hotel was great value for money, it was simply furnished but exactly what I needed as a home base. I don't speak a whole lot of Polish but the staff spoke English and were able to help me out when needed. The location is perfect, right next to the train station, which has plenty of food/supermarket facilities, right on the bus route to get to and from the airport, and only a short 15-20 minute walk into the main town centre and 45-60 minute walk to the centennial hall and zoo, if you're feeling like walking.

There was nothing at all wrong, for me. They recommend downloading an app to use the in-room air conditioning but I couldn't get this to work. The information sheet mentions you can get a remote from reception, but I didn't do this so can't say for sure.

The hotel is in a great location, everything you need is in walking distance, the view from the room was great (looked onto the main road facing the train station). The bus to the airport is just a few minutes walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful, price of the room was very reasonable would definitely stay again.

The room was a bit dated and the shower head was broken (wouldn't stay in an upright position)
