Scandic Wrocław

Good location of the hotel. Room basic and tidy. A fridge, kettle, glasses, cups available in the room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with variety of food.

We were hoping for a hotel sauna, however we were informed that due to covid regulations sauna needs to be booked in advance for private use only - staying in a sauna for people from different rooms is not allowed). Actually we were fine with this restriction but then were informed that the earliest possible time slot to enter the sauna was... on the next day at 6p.m. so already after our check-out time.

that parking was not included. I came from the United States and had a car for the week and spent a lot of money on parking at the hotel. I feel parking should be included .

The hotel staff are the friendliest and most helpful I have come across at a hotel. Anything you need, they want to help. Also, the room was clean, as always, and well equipped.

My only slight criticism this time is that I was surprised at how busy it was during breakfast compared to the size of the area where you can get your food. It’s usually pretty quiet when I visit but this time I had the impression that the hotel has more seating for breakfast than it can comfortably cater to. I probably wouldn’t want to eat there if it was full to capacity. That said, the staff refill and replace food and teabags and such pretty quickly, so hats off to them.

The breakfast was exceptional as there was every choice available. The room was also great apart from the location which I will mention more later.

The hotel is situated at a busy road junction with trams in particularly making a lot of noise. They even seem to start at 4 am in the morning! You couldn't keep the windows open on a hot evening due to the noise, but closing the windows with the air conditioning did help but you could still hear the trams. Because of the noise I had problems sleeping. I may have been unlucky with my room being on the street side but if I visit Wroclaw again I will be looking for a quieter location.

The rooms were super clean and comfy. I did like the staff at the reception. Hotel's location is brilliant - you can just walk to the Wroclaw's main square in 10-15 minutes. There are groceries shops around the hotel and a comfortable tram connection to the rest of the city.

Breakfast was nice however, there was no buffet, but a service, which I am not entirely happy about. The staff was so-so helpful during the breakfast and there's a space for customer service's improvement there. There were also limited breakfast options, frankly I was hoping for the better.

The location was perfect for Wroclaw & it’s attractions. We walked everywhere. The car park was so easy to find & it’s underground & for our fairly high car there was also an above ground parking area. Breakfast was yummy with tons of choices. The staff was gracious. Everything was clean. Prices were more than reasonable.

The Scandic Hotel is in an excellent location, right next to the tram lines that go absolutely everywhere. It is approx. 7 minutes walk from the beautiful main square, with coloured buildings. The staff were very lovely and helpful, especially on the reception. The breakfast, was amazing, I am a veggie and for me the amount of vegetarian/vegan food was the best I have ever had at a hotel… also, caters very well for people that eat meat. I tried the food in the restaurant and that was also good. The room was very warm, which was good as it was freezing cold outside. My room was quite large, with private bathroom that included a bath and shower. The room was a little dated, but very comfortable and clean.

Sauna area needs an update.

the welcome and check-in at the hotel were very friendly and warm.I liked the modern appearance of the lobby where a coffee speciality machine and various snack and amenity items were available. The room was spacious and overlooked a large street crossing though I was not disturbed by and traffic noise. the windows could be opened to let in fresh air. I found the wifi working fine and rather fast. The room’s interior design was on the practical side with not much thought about it “being overly pretty” but everything was functional and comfortable. A fridge, a kettle with instant coffee & tea, an iron board & iron and a hairdryer were available. Everything was super clean. The hotel itself is about 8min walk in both the direction of the old town and the railway station. The closest bus stop “Renoma” for the airport is a 5min walk away.

We were VERY satisfied with our stay at this hotel. We have a long trip from Germany to Latvia with our 1.5 y.o. twins which means at least one overnight stop in Poland. We had special request - we have booked 2 rooms with baby cot in each room (unfortunately our twins disturb each other's sleep). Many thanks to the hotel for good communication and fulfillment of our requests. I also want to note the quick work that day at the check-in (it was very pleasant bonus after 15 hours driving with small children). I really recommend this hotel especially for a families with small children. We used to choose this hotel before, and will continue to do it in future.

The Scandic hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of town and a short walk away from the impressively spectacular market square. The staff at the Scandic are amazing, kind, helpful and professional in every sense. Breakfast is perfect and what pleasantly surprised me were that they offered grilled vegetables and mushrooms, not usually on offer at even the best of hotels. The Sauna and fitness facilities are everything you expect and in great condition. However, the hotel is a bit dated, the rooms could do with an uplift and don't bother staying in to watch TV, there are simply no channels (out of a choice of 40 and apart from BBC lifestyle) that offer news or entertainement in English. Then again, Wroclaw is such an amazingly beautiful city there is simply no excuse to stay in. Add to that the free bicycle service the Scandic offers its guest and you have another reason for exploring the great outdoors of Wroclaw.

There was nothing I didn't like. I was in continuous awe of Wroclaw and its sights. The hotel could do with an upgrade but then again, it really wasn't that important to me as the place and the rooms were spotlessly clean and more than comfortable.
