Another 2 superb nights in a gem of a hotel. This hotel is amazing. The spa is lovely, the breakfast tasty and the roof terrace bar is cool (just try not to laugh at the Botox and Collagen addicts). The staff are great and I’d especially like to thank Marcelina for being such an excellent host. It’s the staff that make all the difference and when they are as good as Marcelina that can make a stay even better.

Some of the guests have money but zero style. That’s sadly common in good hotels nowadays.

Stayed at a lovely hotel with great ambiance. However, the spa area was a bit disappointing as the jacuzzi and steam room were out of order. Only one sauna was working. It would have been much nicer if all facilities were operational.

Location is perfect; in the heart of the city, nearby the Old Town Square. Rooms have a rather eclectic design but we are used to it as we stay at Monopol every time we visit Wroclaw. Breakfast is very good, especially coffee, capuchino with double expresso - you can't miss it. Beds are comfy. This year staff seems less trained and prepared for services they provide, perhaps because they are mostly very young people who still lack experience. The food int he restaurant Monopol is exquisite.

If you stay in a room on the 5th floor near the elevator, be prepared for the noise at night, most of which comes from the restaurant on the 6th floor.

The location is just perfect. The hotel is a symbol of Wroclaw, unique atmosphere and amazing service. The room was large and spacious. The floor in the bathroom heated. Bathrobes and slippers of course. The spa is huge and of a high quality.

There are few things to point out. The temperature in the gym was appaling, you should separate the gym from the rest of the wellness as it gets too hot. You do not want to feint. Next, the hotel restaurant looks nice but the menu is not broad or interesting. The one elevator is sometimes not enough, we were waiting several minutes for it to come.

Excellent breakfast, very good food. Also the bar on the roof top has a good restaurant with excellent cooking. Rooms large and comfy, so as the bed. Cute decoration. Apparently there was a big spa, but I did not use it. The staff is very competent and friendly, polite... only good words for them.

I didn't like that the black-out curtains allow the sunrays in the morning, preventing a good sleep. Further, due to my booking, I used two different rooms. One was great, but the other had stairs to access the bathroom. Very inconvenient that one.

If you choose Monopol, you select a piece of history. They preserved the furnishings and style of the original building from the 30s. It is elegant and spacious. The swimming pool has a unique atmosphere for relaxing in the middle of the city. The rooftop bar is also imposing. Most attractions are close, or you can achieve by public transportation right at the doors.

The breakfast and parking are expensive compared to the room rate. You had better choose the parking yourself, which is very close to the hotel (100 m). It was 80 zl for two whole days and nights; meanwhile, the price is 120 zl/24 hours in the hotel.

Location is perfect for old town. Staff were exceptional.

We arrived quite late in the evening, I was disappointed that extra pillows were not provided as standard. Only 2 pillows were on the bed. Also disappointed that tea / coffee making facilities not provided. I was too tired to go back down and ask but would have welcomed a hot drink before retiring for the night. Having said that, the following morning, after having spoken with reception, all was quickly resolved and we would be very happy to return.

This was my second stay at the property and I had a wonderful time. The spa and pool were relaxing and the staff was friendly and accommodating — even switching our room to one with a more private bathroom.

Midway through the trip, the wet sauna stopped working properly. Also, there was a bit of a strange situation at the restaurant where the waiter continually ignored our table. We were one of three tables that evening and it took 35 minutes to get the bottle of wine we ordered while the two other tables (both with Polish guests) were served and attended to despite being seated after us. It was extremely awkward to have that kind of bias in an establishment that’s meant to be a fine dining experience.

The hotel is situated just moments from the rynek - the 'heart' of Wroclaw and is close to all the main attractions of the city. Parking is readily available, either with the hotel's valet service, or using the nearby public parking. The hotel exudes old world charm. The gym and spa are gorgeous. The staff are friendly and multilingual. Overall, this is a great option for a stay in Wroclaw.

The blackout curtains in the room weren't large enough to cover the full window and block the bright lights on the building's exterior. Rooms next to an elevator always have additional noise throughout the evening. The large room size and deluxe bathroom offset the light and noise.

only one lift which was also used as a service lift. It took ages going floor to floor and was predominantly used by staff.
