The hotel has very strategic postion. Everything is several minutes on foot from there. Bus station, public bus stop, central public bus stops (Portagem), railway station Coimbra (cca 5 min), Coimbra-B (cca 15-20 min), two supermarkets, restaurants, the center etc. The staff is willing to answer the questions or send the invoice by e-mail on request immediately, absolutely no problem. The bed was very comfortable. The shower enclosure without any flaw - I haven't seen it for a long time. Very surprising and I appreciate it!

Maybe the explicit information within the hotel policy that the check-in is possible after midnight would help to somebody...

The room was lovely and the bed was enormous and super comfortable. The location was excellent for public transport and for arriving/departing via coach or train. There are some great restaurants not too far away, and once you get your bearings, it is also easy to find your way around to the sights.

The breakfast was pretty basic - we had better in all our other accommodations in Portugal. The map of Coimbra provided to us wasn't actually helpful as it was so hard to read.

The location was quite good. There was a cafe Coimbra Doce across the road which served nice meals, with courteous staff, some speaking English. There was a launderette 3 minutes away, and a Continente supermarket two minutes away. A large post office one minute away. The town centre was within walking distance, and bus services in front of the hotel. Hot water was great. Electric kettle and fridge in the room was convenient. Breakfast was good too.

Selection of TV channels in English could have been wider. Would have been nice to have a microwave too.

Good value for money and walking distance to the old town. The aircon worked and bed was okay. The fridge is tiny and it took a while before it was cold enough but in the end it worked.

The bathroom is small and the grouting in the shower needed a good clean.

The staff was nice and welcoming, and very helpful. The room had great conditions, although a bit hot. However, I never used the air conditioning. They were very flexible regarding my arrival and departure conditions, letting me leave my luggage for a few extra hours after check out with no questions.

I liked the little glasses of yoghurt served at breakfast. The croissants were good too. The bed was nice. The location was good for what I was doing. A man working at the reception named Michael made Michelin star level toast - presentation and taste wise! Reception staff were very courteous.

The internet was poor and the connection was choppy. The spaghetti bolognaise was ok but far from impressive.

For me location was very good - however it may depend on your own needs: BE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT TERRAIN IN COIMBRA IS (VERY) HILLY. Quiet room facing the riverside. Good WiFi. Both fridge and air-conditioning present. Breakfast has quite a narrow choice but enough.

In a specific class of the room I booked I found no safe. I had an electric kettle - for the rest you have to take care yourself. The room looked quite "worn" - including floor panels, numerous black spots on the tile joints in the bathroom. I had some problems with issuing my invoice - probably "masking" influences English language communication.

Location is great. It is in the city centre. Beds are big and comfortable. The housekeeping staffs tidy the rooms everyday and change sheets. All the staffs are nice and helpful.

Breakfast is poor. No eggs, no tomatoes, no cucumbers and no olives.

Tidy hotel. Staff was friendly. Old town is near.

This walls. Easy to hear noise made by other guests. Guidance on arrival by car and how to enter the garage was not clear.

Accessible, clean and friendly. Very well located. iI has what one needs for an overnight stay.

The shower could benefit from a face lift. The corridor leading to the room a bit gloomy.
