Disappointing surprise to find no (zero) outdoor furniture on the river-view terrace: no even 1 chair on which to sit :( Extremely slippery pool deck. Attention needed here for safety across all ages Management needs to keep a close eye on athletic team groups staying at the property: unpleasantly noisy in hallways, especially at night (not acceptable) Not enough elevators

Very comfortable with great facilities. The personnel were excellent in every area, and very friendly, relaxed, and communicative - but professional at the same time. The food (breakfast, dinner, and the odd room-service) was always very good, and plenty of choice - main dishes always changed from day-to-day. We even complimented the chef on one of them. The swimming-pool was a welcome addition to cool off on some of the hot days. Here again the service at the kiosk was excellent. We really enjoyed an evening of live music in the pool area. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

We would have liked a couple of chairs on our 5th-floor balcony.

Located 10-15 min walk from Coimbra city centre. Hotel offers pool and indoor spa. There are kids entertainment. Room size was good (we were a family of 4). They have a pool bar that was a bit slow. Good parking facilities on both street level and in the car park that is tight size. Staff was friendly though a bit slow. They have special kids menu but you can also choose the buffet. For breakfast there is a large buffet.

There is a train running past the pool but it is not too noisy. Our room overlooked the town so we didn’t hear it in our room. Service is a bit slow and they don’t speak English very well but they are friendly

The staff were very helpful with information on what to do in Coimbra. The food was great. We had half board which worked well as we spend the day sightseeing and found having dinner in the hotel a relaxing end to the day. 12 check out was good as well so we could relax and not feel rushed to leave. We used the pool facilities on both days we stayed at the hotel which was a bonus.

The pool area was very busy late afternoon so that was the only slight negative. We didn't use the indoor pool only the outdoor one.

I liked everything. Good value. Awesome rooms. Good restaurant. Nice staff. Clean rooms. I would definitively come back here and would recommend.

If you need to park, the parking is very uncomfortable to maneuver. A recommendation for improvement: the front desk may be staffed better. I found myself waiting too long due to the numerous requests for parking tickets payments and check outs. Still, awesome hotel and nice people

The room was comfortable with a beautiful terrace. Clean and tidy on time. Reception and bar staff always available and helpful.

The buffet offer is excellent, but there is not a large selection of food for guests with special needs - hyperglycemia, gluten and lactose intolerance if not announced in advance.

The fact that we were told to book to go to the spa, but saw plenty of people just walking in, without having booked. The gym was extremely hot, and some machines were not even plugged in. I don't know if they forgot to turn on the AC or if it's broken, but since it's right next to the indoor pool, it was hard to do any exercise in such a warm environment.

Breakfast buffet was amazing! Great swimming pool and play area as well! Location could be a little better and not on the outskirts of the downtown area, but overall very satisfied. Rooms were absolutely huge, especially the family room. Great bang for the buck, for sure!

The rooms are designated for 4 people only, via their rules. This is a problem when you have a baby that counts as a person, making your total to 5. The rooms are absolutely huge - a crib could have fit in the room but because of their rules, they wouldn't offer one. It was ok, because the baby sleeps with us in the bed, so not a problem, but for future travelers, just be aware.

The hotel is situated right at the rail track, which does not deteriorate the quality of stay at all. The pool and the bar serving cold beer in the garden were very welcome when arriving at 38°C during the summer. The breakfast leaves no wishes open, as long as you are not extremely fussy with your requirements. The variety of food is broad and there is a cook ready and waiting for orders. Parking is available on the street nearby, had no problem finding an empty spot. It is paid, however. We stayed for one night.

There was some party in the lobby which went to late hours and our room was on a low floor so the music was quite noticeable. anyway, we were so tired that it did not really keep us from falling asleep.

The hotel was large, fresh and high end, at a very reasonable price. The room was spacious, beds very comfortable, outdoor pool was beautiful, the dining room modern and clean and the breakfast buffet plentiful with so many options, including an omelette station. It was about a 15-min drive from the university and major points of interest. I wish we could have stayed longer.
