The breakfast presentation as well as quality is exceptional. Room amenities such as a cool Marshall speaker for synching music is a nicely unique touch, as are design features such as leather-strap door handles. Very cool vibe and helpful staff. Food quality in the on-site restaurant was excellent as well.

The only reason for a downgrade is what the property MUST provide in their descriptions or reservation confirmations: you cannot reach it if you follow GPS! We circled Faro’s tiny streets for an hour, got chased out of parking spots by police when trying desperately to figure out why we couldn’t get to the hotel. The real problem? The property is on a pedestrian-only street, has a couple of poorly marked temporary parking spots for check-in (a walk from the hotel) and a parking garage they never mentioned where cars must be parked overnight. Why not simply relay this to customers when a confirmation is sent (and definitely include it in your Booking.com description!).

The hotel is beautifully decorated with great attention to detail. Spaces are designed to be comfortable and delightful. Staff is very attentive and always with a smile. Breakfast is delicious and bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.

The view from the bedroom to an aircon machines area, it was a corner that missed some care.

Some previous reviews said the staff were rude. They were in my opinion wonderful. Helpful, polite, engaging and happy. Our room was on the first floor, it was large and comfortable. Great air con! Very clean and spotlessly cleaned every day. Superb choice for breakfast and brilliant service. Excellent roof top pool. Yes the sun beds may be in short supply; but that is true of everywhere like this. Plus it's not the hotels fault if people are selfish and leave their towels on beds when the go off for lunch. Still plenty of space to relax. I was really impressed with the place and would not hesitate to recommend.

One small gripe and it probably extends to every public building. People are allowed to smoke outside the front door, so as a non smoker I have to walk through stale and smelly cigarette smoke to get into the place. Pu the smoking area away from the entrance or better still ban it altogether. Additionally don't allow people to smoke anywhere in the hotel not even the 5th floor terrace. You are a no smoking hotel; behave like one! Smokers can stay somewhere else!

3HB Faro is a beautiful hotel. We had the suite with King size bed, which was perfect for my husband, our 8 month old and myself. They also had already set up a pack and play/ crib for the baby. The room had two balconies, a kitchenette with sink (perfect for washing bottles) and a mini fridge and microwave. Breakfast was complimentary and DELICIOUS. Also enjoyed both the Portuguese and Italian restaurant. The food is a bit on the pricey side, but the price reflects the quality of the hotel. The roof top pool was also gorgeous! Even though it was pretty busy, it was very quiet and enjoyable. Our son loved to sit on the side plash the water around. The location of the hotel is also great. Less than 15 minutes from the airport, super convenient. It is right in the center of Faro, a few minutes from the marina and has a good selection of restaurants, shops, cafes, small grocery stores and pharmacies right around the corner.

The indoor pool was cold, even though it was advertised as being a warm pool and the sauna was out of order!

I booked a room with a jacuzzi without realising it was ground floor with no light and the window looked directly onto a wall. However the staff were extremely helpful in relocating us to a different room which had natural light. Just be aware if you book one of those rooms.

A place on your journey where you feel at home starts with good staff where you notice that the service is sincere. And that was the case here! I don't know the names, but to everyone who was on duty at breakfast in the morning: thank you for making breakfast my most favorite time of the day! The location in the old town couldn't be better, the room was top and the decor of the hotel warm and peaceful. And it smells so good ;) The location in the heart of the old town makes parking challenging but a good solution has been found in the nearby parking garage and a tuktuk that helps you transport the luggage.

A fee more shaded areas at the pool would be nice. The hotel is quite pricey, but if it doesn't get more expensive it's worth the price.

The standard of the hotel was exceptional, the facilities were top tier and the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and the room quality was an exceptionally high standard, the staff even show you to your room and provide an overview of all the functionalities. The roof top lounge area really made the hotel and provided that 5 star experience with an overview of the city. I would definitely recommend staying here.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. Only thing that could have been better is if the outdoor pool was heated, as it was too cold for me to swim in. However this is only a small detail.

It’s brand spanking new. Super nice design both architecture and interior design. Staff are pretty great overall. Rooms are stunning with really comfortable beds, good size and a balcony. Great to have a rooftop pool for chilling out during the day as there’s f’all to do in Faro.. so you’ll be glad to relax at this hotel for most of your stay.

The pool bar staff make average cocktails. Given the 5-hotel status, and cost of cocktails, they should invest in the best cocktail maker in Faro. Unfortunately some guests ignore the “don’t leave your towel on daybeds to reserve” sign, and on a sunny day you can expect people to do just this. This meant many other guests including ourselves were seated in chairs watching empty sun loungers with their ‘owners’ sitting 20m away at the cafe having lunch. Poor form - all British tourists.

The food is great for breakfast and in both restaurants, Italian downstairs and Portuguese upstairs. The rooftop is incredible, as the spa. The design of the hotel is super modern, elegant and comfortable. Special thanks to all the staff who was so helpful, from the concierge and the reception to the restaurants, and housekeeping, spa ... The service was great.
