The location is super close to the airport ( 20 minutes walking). To go to the beach is 40 minutes walking and to go to Faro is 20 minutes bus from the airport. You are in the middle of everything. Lots of outdoor space and great kitchen.

Some of the room has open lockers, you cant lock your staff but the good thing you can ask at the reception to look after your goods in a safe room.

The price (€8.10/night in dormitory), very well positioned for the park and the Faro beach, 3km walking distance. Very quiet area. The building and the garden. The staff and other travellers are very sociable.

The first night (21/11) I was attacked by bed bugs. They moved me to another room, and then I was fine. I stayed in this hostel from 21-29/11 and 04-09/12. The hostel closed 4days 30/11-03/12 to do deep cleaning and I believe they have solved the problem.

close to airport but otherwise far from everything. some organisation issues: overloaded kitchen bin and sometimes missing toilet paper but all worked fine otherwise.

The building is Lovely, the staff very happy and the receotion has a very cheerful feeling. There is more often than not an E scooter close and that was very handy 45 minutes to Faro Lagoon. Key locker in some rooms.

The smell, loud music after hours, to much luggage around the Room. I got the feeling this is people staying and working/living rather than traveling through. It is Very far from town but very close to the airport. The balance of cost for Distance to the airport isnt worth it. I would pay that bit extra and go further. away. It was interesting to see but i wouldnt book again. Hole in the cieling in the Toilet area.

maybe it was a little season but I got a very nice room with only one occupant. there was on the second floor with the balcony. the shower was okay. I felt safe and comfortable, it was fairly clean. Sims like they have a guardian with the barbecue but I didn't use that. after 10 or 11 pm everything was quiet. For this price it is a heaven.

no Wi-Fi on the second floor, no racks for personal stuff in the shower. beds are squicky as hell. pillows are not good. these are minor issues that can be fixed in a day and that would give this hostel 10 plus. host please give some attention.

I loved the "big family house" concept of the hostel which allowed for a home-feel different from the traditional hotel bookings. I stayed for about 3 months and never for once felt lonely. I could cook, do my laundry, and relax in the backyard just as I could do at home. It was an awesome experience with different people coming and going but the home-feeling remained the same. I shall return and enjoy my stay again.

The attitude of some overnight and short-term bookers who did not keep the place as clean as it usually is. Some trouble making guests who were however eventually asked to leave the hostel premises.

Wonderful staff with 24hr reception, small shop on site, well equipped kitchen (can’t be used after 2200 until morning so factor this in if you have an early flight). It’s a large hostel and the whole complex is beautiful, lots of inviting social spaces including outdoors. Everything worked well in the bathroom, mostly clean just understandably sandy after some guests had been to the beach. Nice balcony to relax on attached to the bedroom. Each bed has a socket and a comfortable mattress.

Rooms are very hot. A fan was provided but didn’t do much. Very difficult to sleep because of this. Wish I knew in advance that the kitchen would not be accessible for me to make food prior to flying.

The location to the airport is fantastic a very affluent part which is quiet the neighbours have large property’s with private pools, tennis club next door with a cafe and bar is either a 15 minute walk or €3.50 Uber ride to the airport. This is a large hostel with a very spacious Garden ideal for relaxing. Well equipped communal kitchen. Staff are just brilliant very welcoming sorry I forgot to leave a tip. Let me preface this by saying that if you want a luxury stay you should spend more and book a pricey hotel, this is a hostel so expect what you'd normally expect from a hostel and don't be the person who ruins the mood by being uptight about it. This place was amazing for the price and so close to the airport, there's also a shop at walking distance and you can easily get to the beach by walking or taxi. The thing I loved the most though was how many friends I got in such a short time, a week at this hostel flew by and I've made what feel like lifelong friends. Even if you're a shy person I say throw yourself out there and chat to everyone because once you get to know people it takes a second to feel like you're part of a big family. Beware of the mosquitos so pack a repellent spray! Obviously not something the staff can do anything about except what they already do (there's citronella candles outside and anti bug sprays)

The centre, bus station and train station are about a 20 minute walk away. The supermarket is a few minutes walk. It's not as noisy as Olhao centre can be. Paulo and Isabela are helpful and friendly. There was some useful fresh food in the fridge when I arrived late at night. The accommodation is simple, traditional and reasonable for the money. I loved the plants outside my room and they provide some privacy and shade and gave a 'tropical' feel to the balcony. I liked that I could cook a little in the room and there was a kettle for making tea and coffee etc. It was good to have air con when I needed it.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the place and I felt very welcome.
