I recently had the pleasure of staying at the 3K Hotel Faro. Located just a stone's throw away from the airport, you'd expect noise and chaos, but this hidden gem managed to provide the perfect blend of convenience and serenity. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the peaceful atmosphere. Despite being in such close proximity to the airport, the hotel was an oasis of tranquility. This was a huge relief after a long journey. A highlight is the swimming pool. The crystal-clear water was a refreshing way to beat the heat, and the poolside area was well-maintained. With a rental e-scooter, it was a short and joyful ride to Faro Beach. Speaking of cleanliness, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's commitment to hygiene. From the lobby to my room, every corner was very clean. The room came with a balcony. The hotel staff truly made the experience exceptional. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and welcoming smile of the receptionist. It was her second day on the job, but you would never have guessed it – she was efficient and incredibly friendly. If you're reading this, dear receptionist, I want to wish you all the best in your new role and hope to see your smiling face on my next visit! Location-wise, the hotel couldn't have been better situated. Restaurants and supermarkets are a short walk away. The beach is a 10-minute ride away with an e-scooter or a rental bike. The icing on the cake was the easy 10-minute stroll to the airport. It's a luxury to be able to roll out of bed and reach your departure gate without any hassle. In conclusion, with its peaceful ambiance, pristine pool, clean and comfortable rooms, and exceptional staff, I can definitely recommend this hotel. And to the receptionist, once again, best of luck in your new role, and I look forward to seeing you on my next adventure!

The only very minor thing was that it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea/coffee in the room.

Location to Faro Airport was superb, the gentleman on the front desk was brilliant, recommended us a place to eat (next door).. and provided us with a much needed drink upon our arrival.

We booked this hotel at the last minute after our flight was cancelled. The rooms were clean and a good size, the shower was excellent, the wifi was fast and the beds were comfy. Having a small balcony to sit outside was a real bonus, and there is a supermarket around the corner for supplies (i.e. a bottle of wine to drink on the balcony). However the best part about this hotel was the staff. They were super friendly, extremely helpful, and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The food choices were quite limited (pizzas, toasties) and during low season there aren't really any restaurants that are easily accessible nearby.

We booked this hotel because of the proximity to Faro airport, between 10-15 min walking and it was safe to do it. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and it was perfect for the overnight. Receptionist was helpful and friendly. Hotel provides lockers where you can leave your luggage if you arrive before check in time, we use the service and it was free of charge. We can not comment in other services as we did not use them. Hotel provides shower gel and shampoo also. I would recommend this hotel to anybody with an early flight to catch.

For the short time we were there, all was good.

We loved everything about this hotel, the location to the airport, the cleanliness and the upkeep of the hotel and the private balconies. It's an easy 10 minute walk to the terminal. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Diana the front desk person was awesome. She gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant for lunch. If you are in need for a hotel within walking distance from the terminal this is the hotel for you. We will definitely stay here again when we are flying out of Faro.

This was a real find. Only 500m from the Airport this Hotel was more than I expected . I stayed for 3 days . The room was normal , very clean and bright. Breakfast was 9Eu and good value , It was a good location for my free day to explore the surrounding countryside by hire car. there is a cash machine next door in the supermarket which stays open to 7pm. The menu is limited in a smallish dining area but there are drinks available at the Bar located beside the reception. Good location for an early flight or late arrival as reception open 24 hours . Very pleasant and helpful staff . This was a very pleasant stay and I will definitely stay there again

Our brief stay at this hotel was a great end of our short holiday. Its proximity to the airport, within easy walking distance, made it an excellent choice for a short stopover before our early flight. The reception staff were welcoming, helpful and efficient. The room exceeded our expectations - it was extremely cozy and pleasant, and well-equipped. The spacious bathroom and small balcony with a view of a rural part of the town added a touch of tranquility to our stay. What truly stood out was the spotless cleanliness of the room and the complete absence of any unpleasant odors – a rare and refreshing experience in hotel accommodations. There was genuinely nothing to complain about; every aspect of our stay was seamless and enjoyable.

We booked the hotel for its proximity to Faro airport (due to an early flight) and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to do the same. The staff are lovely and the rooms were much better appointed than we expected - they are a good size, well-equipped, very clean and comfortable with a good bathroom/shower. There is free parking and a bar. The value for money was excellent and, at that price, we had expected it to be very basic but it was really nice and great for our purposes.

Before I booked a room at 3K I sent an email asking if there was a near-by restaurant open for dinner on Sunday night. I was assured there was a restaurant right next door open for dinner on Sunday. When we arrived there was indeed a restaurant - but it was closed on Sunday evening. At Reception I asked if there was a restaurant open within walking distance where we could have dinner. I was assured there were 2 open on Sunday evening within easy walking distance. So we walked 20 minutes to find the first restaurant - it was closed on Sunday evening. We walked another 10 minutes to the second restaurant.- it was closed on Sunday evening. In the end we found a snackbar which gave us some food.
