It was better than I expected. I read reviews and the total score was not so high but on the whole it turned out absolutely fine. Clean bed and bathroom, towels and on the whole there was no mess, everything was tidy. So, my experience was positive. The area is quiet

Some things were worn out, in one of the bathrooms the window looked not so well, but in another everything was fine. The back side of the mattress was not clean, I was sleeping on the 2nd shelf so I could see it. But it is more like I'm carping.

Ricardo the volunteer was very helpful with everything!! ♡ Everything was very clean

-The lockers were very small, you can barely fit a full backpack inside..the suitcase has to remain outside and lack of privacy is a big no for me. Also no place to leave your luggage if it's your check out day -we came as a couple and they force us to give 5+5 deposit for the lockers which I think is too much, even if we took it back, it's frustrating to start your stay in this way. -I don't get the idea of 3 beds, it makes everyone feel squizzed and you can't even lift your head without hitting.

First is money wise….it’s cheap. Secondly, the bed and the quilt they provided is surprisingly very comfortable. They were just perfect when we got there with storm Nelson. Lastly, you can see how the hostel tries to maintain their place as clean as possible. In our case (5 travellers) we were assigned in one of the rooms on the 3rd floor and we have got the biggest shared bathroom which was not really that bad.

I think the room which we were assigned to (3rd floor on the right) could have been sat up well. I personally find it a bit unorganised because of the position of the bunk beds in the room. I wasn’t able to take any photos but i think it would be better if they had both beds by the wall. And maybe putting a clothes rack with hangers in that room would be great for the guests. :) *by the way, the location is quite far from the city of lisboa but near from monasterio jeronimo. But if you’ve got some wheels, it won’t be a problem all

You’re able to cook your meals at your own time you get to like your stuff with tapes so there is no confusion or stealing. The bathrooms are always kept clean and just a few times one of the upstairs shower wasn’t giving hot water but the other bathrooms are okay fro the price. Embassies are close by it’s a walk through so it was easy for me.

The bed is shaky even when you sleep a small move on the bed can wake you up if you are not a heavy sleeper I feel it needs to be changed the metal bunk even if it’s not your bunk the other person bunk next to you will still disturb you while you sleep

Staff was friendly. You can open the windows in the room so it is cool and the hostel is in a quiet area. A bit far from the centre. Over all a good stay.

Great value for money, much better than I expected. The kitchen and dining room were spotless clean, and it was quiet.

It's hard to open the main door with the key, luckily the staff were there to help me, but if it happened during the night, it might cause difficulties.

The staff was awesome!!!! Super helpful and authentically friendly!!!! Restelo isnt in the center but you can get there easily from the center taking a bus from Cais do Sodre.

it would be cool if the hostel provided the bus and train possibilities from the center to the hostel.

The facility is always clean, kudos to the cleaning lady. The staff are nice too.

Maybe the three-tier bunk is a little bit tight.
