Exceptional breakfast buffet we enjoyed very much. The outdoor pool was beautiful but not heated (in May) so we made good use of the indoor spa pool, steam room and sauna. The location in Belem is very nice, just opposite the Torre de Belem and walking distance to the Discoverers Monument. Very close to the main airport - 15 minutes - so we could drop off other guests easily for their flight. The bar and terraces are very well appointed.

Mini bar is expensive - not just for liquor but for coffee pods. Given the price of the room it seems churlish to charge for nespressso pods each day. Also, be aware if you are not Portuguese to bring a swim hat - this seems to be standard. They are available for sale at 5 Euro.

Both pools were great, but the indoor pool was spectacular. Having ancient roman walls as part of the decor and construction of the area was unique. Didn't expect this and being among this history was special. Hotel should make it known, however maybe the surprise was the better option.

The fact that the indoor pool and facilities close at 8:30 pm doesn't allow guests to go on tours and come back to enjoy because of the early closer. Staff should be better informed on attractions in the area. The best restaurant we ate at in Lisboa was right across the street, Nunes, and yet no one mentioned it. Also we were sent across the train tracks over the bridge to get on the sightseeing off/on bus when, in fact, it stops immediately, across the street from the hotel. At least 2 staff member didn't know that. Need better info for guests.

Nice and comfortable room, spa and swimming pool. Great location.

For a 5 stars hotel and the prices charged, we would expected to have natural orange juice (and not concentrated), coffee for free in the room and also tea. A little (big) advice to your receptionists, specially to Catarina: please do not make comments about guests in front of other guests. Commenting with your colleague about what the other guests have decided, in front of us while you were attending us for the checkout was not nice to hear and see. The receptionists are the face and first contact of any kind of service. Catarina have just showed a really bad customer service (maybe lack of experience/training/ common sense?). Please pay attention to that.

Nicely located near the Torre de Belém and the many museums at Belém. The hotel is modern with traditional elements. It offers an open-air and an indoor swimming pool (which I however couldn’t make use of) and a restaurant in the basement. There is an extensive breakfast buffet with plenty of tasty choice. The rooms are kept very tidy and the hotel staff are very attentive and helpful.

On the day of departure I did not manage to get a coffee for breakfast although I had asked for it twice. The shrimp and pineapple salad in the restaurant would have benefited from spices or some acidity.

Superb hotel with excellent facilities - the spa downstairs was a godsend for aching limbs after walking everywhere particularly in Sintra. Lovely breakfast with plenty of choices. Location was spot on - close to the major attractions in Belem. Getting to Sintra by Uber took 25 mins, much more convenient than going by train.

Staff service by the swimming pool could be better. We waited for a while to order some beers. Missing custard tarts at breakfast in the last 3 days of our stay - that was disappointing lol

The room was cozy and clean, the pillows were amazing, with memory foam. We appreciated the “separated bathroom” which meant that the shower and toilet was in two separate “rooms”. The shower is very large and it has two different shower heads (big and small). The staff was really friendly and professional, they even helped us with receiving an ordered package. The breakfast was very tasty and had high quality foods. Free underground parking was easily accessible, with plenty of spots. There is also a tram station right in front of the hotel which is already very close to Belem Tower.

Although the bed was large, it had two mattresses instead of only one. One of the wall plugs next to bed was not working and one of the faucet from the shower was broken. Overall these were small inconveniences that didn’t matter that much for us.

Gorgeous property with amazing staff. breakfast was huge with every kind of offering. Very convenient to all that Lisbon has to offer. Located in the Belém area but just steps away from the tram makes it super convenient. Take 15b to downtown and buy the Lisboa card for free rides and attractions. Huge rooms with the best shower and shower pressure in Europe and a Roman style pool and spa area included in price. Wonderful staff from the cleaning people to the waiter, bartender and front desk. went out of their way to be helpful. Incredible property. Book this hotel now. You won’t be disappointed.

Bed mattress was a bit soft and no drawers as is typical for European hotels but ample closet space.

We had a little hiccup with air conditioning in our first room but the staff was incredibly attentive in making sure we got a comfortable room. Thank you Tiago and his colleague from the front desk for ensuring a great stay. Also love that it was right across from Torre de Belem. We were able to sign up for a massage treatment upon arrival and we got to enjoy the spa facilities. I love that it’s in a historic building with Roman ruins exhibited throughout. Also loved the decor. Loved the water pressure in the showers and breakfast was great! We were traveling with a vehicle so the free parking was a plus and it’s in a very nice residential neighborhood.

It is far away from most of the tourist sites and historic part of the city but an Uber was about 9-10 euros. The AC in the downstairs unit but they switched us to a unit on the main floor right away.

The staff were very polite and helpful, very welcoming, always ready to answer questions, get us a city map, our favourite coffee / tea at breakfast; everyone made our stay hugely enjoyable or perfectly relaxing. One day, when we'd been out all day and returned after 8pm (and we did not need the room serviced), there was a knock on our door. A younger member of staff brought us two chocolates, which would have normally been left by our pillows, had the room been cleaned that morning. We were really amazed and my husband, who loves nutty chocolate, couldn't have been happier. We used the pool and massage jets, but did not have time for spa treatments. Breakfasting on the patio in the sunshine at 9am felt very decadent. I loved the selection of sweet, fresh sliced fruit and on the morning of our 25th wedding anniversary I even had a small glass of champagne with the fruit. The orange juice you get served is so delicious, as well as the huge selection of other choices you can pick to eat. We had one dinner at the hotel, which was stunning - everything was cooked to perfection. Many major tourist sites are within easy walking distance, no uphill effort's required.

A proper soap dish would have been useful, so as not to soak the wooden counter every time we went to wash our hands. A hook or rail by the sink for the hand towel would also be sensible. (Room S01)

good location, close to the Belem tower. very convenient public transport to the Lisbon downtown.

spa facilities are free for use but there is no hot hygiene spa pool. the indoor pool is still a swim pool, heated at 30 degrees. not a hot enough temperature for me to relax. breakfast is average, taste good but not a 5 stars standard my point of view. because the eat area is next to the outside pool, some flies kept flying around the buffet table, some flies stand on the food and staff can’t monitoring all the time.
