Fabulous location in the Old City in a historic building. We could walk to everywhere it seemed. We were provided a large apartment for family, the most spacious accommodations on our three country trip to Europe. Staff were friendly and service oriented. I accidentally left my phone and Jahid shipped my phone to me in the USA. I am forever grateful. I look forward to my return to Le Consulat!

We loved the convenience of the location. The Staff was very friendly and trustworthy. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen with dinning area and a den/living room. A great place to stay in Lisbon.

We loved the location on the beautiful plaza of the Chiada district. The hotel was so cool! They left the original features of the Brazilian Consulate - the old wood floors, staircase, plaster moldings, etc. but by far the best part was Pedro who checked us in and made suggestions throughout our stay either in person at the desk or through updates by What’s App.

We weren’t affected on the 3rd floor, but our friends who were on the 2nd floor could hear the noise from the 1st level bar during the night. Ask for a high floor!

The location was fantastic and a lot of attraction were a short walk away. The famous 28 tram also stops literally right outside the hotel's front door! The hotel bar had a nice buzz and atmosphere and we would have happily spent more time there, if it wasn't closed for a private event on one of the nights. Excellent hotel.

The airport shuttle is very overpriced. The driver was great and the journey was terrific, but it costs 35 Euros when you can get an Uber for as little as 8 Euros for the same trip - if the price was slightly inflated I wouldn't have as much of an issue, but it was a little frustrating to learn we paid almost 4x as much for this.

The staff couldn't have been nicer, more genuine or more attentive. Without exception, all interactions were great. We loved our beautiful and comfortable suite looking onto the square. We had a great breakfast and enjoyed an evening drink in the bar. The rooms warmed up nicely for the evening. The showers were excellent, with beautiful bathroom products, towels and robes.

The decor of the bar/dining area I feel could be more in keeping with the elegance of the building itself. However, I do undersand it and this is just a personal comfort issue. This renovation in other ways, is quite the masterpiece from the beautiful windows and doors to the sleek mid-century comfortable furniture. This is the most pleasing hotel we have ever stayed at. We were awed. Thank you.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Location was prime real estate within close walking distance of great bars and restaurants in the Barrio Alto area. Our room was amazing, partially thanks to a surprise upgrade but all facilities seemed beautiful and well kept.

We had some challenges with the outlets and power connectivity in our room. There was no real view to speak of from our room, but that comes with the territory of being in a densely populated area!

I hate to even rate this place because I feel like it's such an undiscovered gem. Each room is unique and comfortable and gorgeous in its own way. Extremely tastefully decorated and beautiful views.

It's bairro alto so even with the very good windows and shutters it can get noisy. I was also surprised that my room did not come with facial tissue or a laundry bag, but maybe that's because I only stayed one night (this time)? There is also only one full-sized gel body/ hair product in the shower, so if you specifically need shampoo or conditioner, you'll have to bring it with.

Staff were very friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Our room was lovely, had a view over the square and it was clean and comfortable. We had a small fridge which was replenished daily with water and soft drinks FOC. The bar area was very pleasant, lovely staff and we enjoyed some food there as well which was very tasty.

Only negative was it was quite noisy at night time due to hotel location and the tram stop was just outside our bedroom window. We were lucky to have some earplugs with us which really helped.!

The hotel is one of our favorites in the city of Lisbon. The staff and the location are spectacular. It is the perfect location in the Chiasso with views overlooking the plaza.

It did not impact my family however there are a lot of stairs, and even stairs that must be taken to get to the lift. For visitors w/ mobility concerns, this hotel might be difficult

Great space and location - apartment was spacious with high ceiling and well equipped. We were able to walk to most locations.

Our apartment was on the side of the tram so a little noisy. Also, had problem with breakfast, when I booked it stated was included and when I went to property they stated it was NOT, hotel cleared up the issue, but was unnecessary issue, bookings.com need to fix their posting. Light switches were confusing, too many switches.

Breakfast was fabulous. Two bedroom apartment was great and had a wonderful view of plaza. Free mini-bar was a bonus! Staff very nice!

The only negative was that it said "sofa bed" online but it was just a sofa so we had to have rollaway brought in for 5th person. It was documented (buried deep online description) but we didn't notice in advance but there was a 30Euro charge per night for 5th person...somewhat of a bummer since only 2/5 of us ate breakfast each day.
