Room was fab, amenities good, staff lovely.

The location isn't the best - not from getting to the Lisbon sites but from the neighbourhood aspect, it is no fault of the hotel but you are left feeling a little on edge when you leave the hotel doors. As you turn left out of the hotel within 20 yards you come across a 'homeless settlement' of make-shift tents and dwellings. There is a continual police presence here via a marquee and each evening there is a food service supplied by 'Red cross' volunteers. I'm not someone who views homelessness as 'spoiling my holiday', it's relevant though to flag this to others (especially those with children), who may look to book this property. It's just something to be mindful of. It's a 20-25 minute walk into Lisbon centre, or as we found out on our lats night a 6 Euro taxi back ;)

Don't let the shabby red front door fool you , this is a calm oasis in the middle of a busy city. Given that the temperature was over 30 degrees most days we were there, the lovely garden in the back provided a calming and welcoming relief from the heat, hustle and bustle where we enjoyed sitting in tree shade sipping a glass of wine. The staff were (without exception)extremely friendly and helpful.

Just the shabby front door. It needs a coat of paint!

Excellent position, close to Metro and tram 28 Very clean Quiet room Comfortable bed Great breakfast Lovely hostess (Jessica), who immediately replaced a broken toilet seat Nice old fashioned staircase Pretty garden

Not enough storage room for things, had to bring in a chair from the balcony and wait for it to dry after the rain. Lighting was miserable with insufficient ceiling light of cold white colour and impractical low bedside lights not giving enough light for reading.

Room - was a lovely room, little noisey at night but it is in the city so I guess to be expected. Provide some milk to be able to make a coffee as many do not drink black tea or coffee. Breakfast - a toaster would assist and some better ventilation then just opening windows on a cold winter morning so that guests start to be cold. Location - good location as it is close to everything at walking distance.

Some staff seem to lack relationship and interpersonal skills and are not suited to working in a customer service role.

Amazing place to stay in Lisbon. Metro station few steps away from hotel and town centre within a walking distance (10-15minute). Room nice and clean, comfy bed and all facilities available. Daily room cleaning service and towels were changed every day as well. Variety choice for breakfast. Staff were amazing, kind, and very friendly helpful. Would recommend this place to everyone 👌

The location is right in the heart of Lisbon. It is in the middle of the best neighbourhoods so you can reach both of them by walking. Also, the metro station is less than 1min away. The rooms are spacious, very clean and comfy. The breakfast is simple but enough to start the day.

It was not my case as I visited Lisbon in March with good weather but the room didn't have proper AC and the heating was provided by a radiator - cooling by a fan. I used neither of them, and it was everything OK for me, but you have to keep this in mind when visiting Lisbon in winter or summer.

Great value for money: decent breakfast and location close to the metro. A few restaurants in the area and mini markets for the necessities. The windows of many rooms go into inner yard, so there is not too much noise from the main street. Perfect for solo traveler.

There was no table, so if you need to work from the room, you would have to do it from the bed. I used one of the patio tables to work a few hours.

Location is just a few minutes walk away from the green metro line with 3 stops to Downtown. Guests had a choice to sit inside for breakfast or in a quaint courtyard with uneven paving. Spacious room didn't have aircon, but a large ceiling fan. Helpful staff.

Payment required in cash as card machine broken on a weekend.

Staff very friendly and obliging. Kept our luggage past check out time and allowed us to come back later to collect it. Room exactly as expected, very comfortable bed and a modern clean bathroom with a large walk in shower. Cute little garden at the back although sadly the weather didn't allow us to enjoy it.

It was a bit far from the centre for walking, but very close to the metro so you could just jump on a metro to get anywhere.
