Free shuttle van from 5 am, breakfast available from 2 am. we love dinner buffet, very delicious meal with reasonable prices. staffs very polite and helpful.

Little help with our suitcases. Do not forget I will be 84 years in next october, my wife is 81 years and my sister in law is 85 years old. We do travel round the world and most of the hotel help us with the bags.In Star in there are very large steps in the front of the hotel and a long way round a ramp .Very nice of them to call me a taxi but I expect from them to say "can I give you a hand up to the Taxi "I said the same thing last time we stay there.But they will not change.It must come from the Top manegement. Never mind I will stay there again when ever I pass through Lisbon.

We stayed just for a night after landing on a red eye flight from Zurich, and it was conveniently located in walking distance to the airport. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed comfortable, the staff were rockstars of hospitality and the breakfast was fantastic. Hands down one of the best airport crashes I’ve had - and I’ve had a lot.

The circuitry in the room was a bit weird. I was able to switch off the lights in the bathroom from my bedside, which was lots of fun because I could make my wife scream enraged curses at me out of the shower without getting up, but then I DID have to get up because the bedside switch wouldn’t work any more to turn it back on, which was mildly inconvenient. ;)

We stayed at the Star Inn as we had an early morning flight home and had travelled back from Porto. We found the staff throughout our stay to be friendly and helpful, from the moment we arrived until our departure. The hotel was very clean, the room comfortable and the bar and buffet worked well. we were offered buffet breakfast from 2.00 am until 5.00am when cooked food was available. We were able to relax after a long train journey from Porto and prepare for our early start home. We haven't had to use airport hotels before whist travelling but were impressed by the quality of service and the variety of fresh food available even at 4.00am. A shuttle runs from the hotel to the airport every 15 minutes but its first come, first served. Note: we were travelling with Ryanair and departed from T2, which meant Terminal 2. We had to get a bus from Terminal 1 to make our flight and that's about 10 minutes. No information about this from the airline, we thought we'd done well with only a five minute walk from hotel to departures...

Nothing major, prices were slightly higher than those for comparable items outside the airport. We weren't sure about the decor...

I've stayed here several times for its convenient location near the airport and its delicious breakfast buffet. The room is modern, clean and the water pressure in the shower is excellent.

I have stayed here several times before and only on my recent visit did I have a disappointment. On a hot afternoon in late July, none of the staff that were there knew how to make a drink on their menu called a "Betty Curtis", which is really a Campari Spritz. It took a very long time between ordering that drink and for me to be told that they "didn't have" it, which puzzled me because the bright red bottle of Campari was clearly visible on the glass bar shelf, so I knew that I was being lied to. It surprised me that there was not a recipe book for the staff to refer to in order make it, or why any of them did not have the acumen to look up how to make it online. I did not appreciate that.

Excellent location, I walked to the airport from the hotel in about 5 minutes. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. The room was very nice and well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Everything was very clean. There were vegan options on the menus and the buffet breakfast was included and offered adequate vegan options too. Although I didn’t feel the need to use it this time, I was happy to find that they also provide a shuttle bus ride to the airport. Being so close to the airport, it means that you can make it to the subway station very easily and wonder around lisbon with ease.

It wasn’t a problem at all for me but the shower door wasn’t closing properly.

I was really satisfied with property. The premises were clean, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful. I reserved two rooms and had requested that the rooms were next to each other so the family was together and they were able to fulfill the request. Breakfast starts at 2:00 am (continental only, hot breakfast started at 5:00 am) which is very helpful for those with early flights. I was satisfied with the quality of the continental breakfast. Shuttle starts at 4:00 am which is a plus. However is an easy walk to terminal 1 (just across the street). We ended up just walking.

-There could have been hot food at breakfast for those leaving on pre 5am flights as the price is the same for a later more extensive buffet breakfast. However, the early breakfast is adequate with hot coffee, cold meats and cheeses, cereal, bread, fruit and pastries. - Given that most people will spend less that 15 hours at the hotel, and there is no pool, it is quite pricey. However, the convenience of being able to walk to the airport is worth the price.

The property is perfect for an early morning flight as it’s about a 6 minute walk to the airport. The lobby is cute and well decorated. The room was huge with a big comfortable bed. They offer a huge and extensive breakfast buffet that includes fresh cooked eggs in different styles, meats, cheeses, all kinds of breads, coffee, cakes…. I only wish our flight was later so I could’ve eaten more (ha). Breakfast also starts at 2am, which is amazing if you’re leaving very early. The staff were all friendly as well.

The only negatives to this property was the price of course (it’s much more expensive than most hotels in Portugal, but not exorbitant) and the fact that you can hear other doors slamming in the hall all night. I could tell they did a great job sound proofing the hotel from outside noise, as I didn’t hear any airplane noise, but the noise from the halls weren’t considered as much. Overall, a great place to stay to get to your early morning flight.

Actually, the place was excellent. Glad it had a bar and restaurant and free breakfast. Bed was comfortable, room a bit small but adequate. Large suitcase had to be opened on the floor, but otherwise, fantastic place to stay a night before heading out to the airport. Fantastic that you could either walk to the airport OR (much more preferable) have the option to take the free shuttle every 15 minutes. Next door was another hotel you could also eat at (a la carte) and have cocktails so you actually have 2 dining options staying there. Star Inn had a buffet for dinner but I didn't want to eat that much so went next door, but came back to have cocktails at Star Inn. Staff were super friendly.
