First of all, we arrived to the hotel around 11pm and we were tired. The receptionist ,though he doesn't speak English, tried his biggest effort to understand and help us. The point where he actually, put aside meeting with the expectations, exceeded our expectations was carrying our luggages to the room. I totally suggest this lovely and nice hotel to the travelers of Porto.

I think it is the best hotel when having a look at its price. So I can't write anything for this part.

The hotel had a special charm, I really enjoyed its style and one could really see the attention they put in every little detail of it. All in all it was a great experience with a great price/quality ration.

While I do not struggle to see the reasons behind this, having to ring a bell in order to be let inside by a staff member everytime one gets back to the hotel feels very dormitory-like. As an adult, it felt borderline humiliating.

Quiet location but easy enough to walk to all attractions within the city. Friendly staff, helpful, understanding & polite. Spotlessly clean & tidy. I had a room at the back of the hotel which had a "balcony" overlooking a well kept attractive garden with patio seating.

You have to buzz the door to gain entrance every time you enter the hotel. I felt a little awkward doing this as I thought I might be becoming a nuisance to the staff who had to let me in! Maybe a kettle would be a useful addition to the room. Though having said that, you're never more than about 20 seconds away from a pavement cafe in Porto to get your coffee fix!

Brilliant hotel in a quiet area but not too far from the centre (walking distance). Yes the rooms are cosy but they’re spotlessly clean with all the amenities present for a comfortable stay. The staff was also friendly and they allowed me to use the main iron and also stored my bag after check out so that I could continue exploring. The hotel is also staffed 24/7 so you need to buzz the front door to get in which means it’s highly safe. Oh, they also provide you with a map upon arrival which is handy but Google maps/Moovit on your phone works just as fine. Will definitely stay here again upon my return to Porto and great value for money!!

The only downside is that the rooms are thin so you can hear people coming up and down as well as the shower being run next door. For me that was a minor as everything else was superb and I felt safe as a solo traveller.

The hotel is very close to the city center and located in a non-touristic neighborhood. Staff is superb even though they speak little English but I had the chance to refresh my Portuguese :) The room was very clean and comfortable. My single room was actually a double room and the bed was perfect. Breakfast was not included in my booking but all around I could find many places to enjoy coffee and local pastries. The hotel is a perfect stay for a few days and I can recommend it!

Wi-fi was not working properly, but overall I cannot complaint :)

Good location nearby a Cristina coffee (walking distance ~ 5 minutes) where we had a delicious cappuccino and bakery. The hotel is safety place, you couldn't enter without the staff's help. In our room we had a balcony with a small fridge and a view of the neighbor's terrace, we looked at the neighbor's cat 🐈. He's fat and lovely, like an ideal cat.

Cold room, the heating on the conditioner was off (but this type support this option). We hadn't slippers, without them it wasn't really comfortable in the bathroom. We heard all our neighbors through the walls and ceiling.

I had to arrive quite late because of the late flight. The guy opened the door immediately and was super polite and friendly although it was quite late in the evening. The price was definitely very good for the location of the hotel and the facilities in the hotel. Quite impressive was the cleanliness of the room. I would definitely recommend the hotel!

The staff were really friendly and helpful. It had a lovely homely feeling, it felt very safe and was very clean. If we visited Porto again we would definetely stay here again.

Stylish, vintage hotel in a really interesting district of Porto with art galleries, antique and design stores in the surrounding streets such as Bombarda and Breyner. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and well furnished room, with good lighting and shutters which isolated well the traffic noise. Parking in a garage 50m away for 10€ per day.

All good, but it should be noted that the Metro is a walk of 10-15 minutes from the hotel. However, city buses do pass close by and many attractions are within walking distance.

- Staff were friendly and personable - Bed was comfortable (firm spring mattress) - Bathroom was modern and clean

- Wifi was spotty (slow and intermittently stops working) - Could hear road noise (including large vehicles at around midnight) and hallway voices pretty clearly, but fixable with earplugs - Sheets were clean but had some tiny balls of lint on them - Location isn’t the best, is a 10-15min walk from the metro station and the interesting parts of Porto
