Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff, who showed us a map of Porto and explained where to go and recommendations. The property had bag drop off, which was really useful. The apartment was clean and cool and the bed was a decent size and very comfy.

The property did not have a lift, so it was a few flights of stairs, which was difficult with a suitcase but the staff did offer to help us with our luggage if needed. During our stay, on our last day, the air-con did make a loud noise on and off and we reported this to the staff.

Location, modern facilities, decor, comfort. Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff.

We were given one room with air conditioning and one without. The one without was incredibly hot and up a different road from the other room (we are a family of five so not ideal). Fortunately the staff found us another room in the same block with air con as we wouldn't have been able to sleep. They had left a fan running in the non air con room but it was still too hot. Just be aware when booking during the summer season. The second room was great. A suggestion would be that they leave you a small amount of milk to go with the tea and coffee provided.

Staff excellent. Couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable. Very informative when we needed information about the area. Location excellent.

Sitting room wasn't comfortable. The sofa and the easy chair were hard. They need cushions . The shower spilled water out onto the floor no matter how careful we were. The bathroom door didn't close. Cork screw was difficult to use. Hated the big brown cups for tea and the white cups were too small for tea ! Need white mugs for a good cup of tea. Pillows on my bed were not comfortable. Too soft .

What an excellent stay with excellent hosts! There is someone on duty every day down in the lobby of the apartments to help you with any keys, questions etc and check you in to your room on arrival. I appreciated all the tips and the helpful map of the city, with lots of suggestions of things to do. The apartment was incredibly clean and bright, comfortable beds, modern amenities. Full kitchen with fridge and stove, strong wifi. The location is perfectly situated in the old town, walking distance from everything you'd want to see. I stayed here three nights with friends and it was lovely. Easy door code access to the main lobby, plenty of yummy restaurants just right outside. I particularly enjoyed the sunset views at the neighboring little "park" and bars just 2 minutes walking from the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you again to the wonderful hosts!

Only complaint is that because the glass on the shower is so short, water gets everywhere while bathing - all over the floor. This didn't take away from our experience though!

Great communication from the hosts who explained everything so well and answered my questions very quickly via whatsapp which was handy. Really sweet appartment with a nice view on to the street and plenty of light. The appartment had space, great facilities and was in a lovely part of the city. It was a great place to stay for a work trip as it was well located, had a nice big table and good wifi for working. Quiet for sleeping

Nothing. I had one minor problem with the shower dripping and they fixed that immediately.

The apartment is very clean, bright, open space, comfortable and spacious. Location is perfect in the historical area, walking distance to all the major attractions and many good restaurants nearby to choose from. The staff is super friendly available 24x7 to help. Paulo did our check in and gave us great advices on where to visit and restaurants. Kitchen is small but functional for short term stay.

There’s a smoke smell when entering our apartment even though windows were closed, probably from the restaurant nearby, we had to open the windows to air it out. Also the water mixing part of the shower faucet (not the handle) was super hot, so be careful not to accidentally touch that part during shower.

Clean, comfortable apartment in a great location for a few days. The best thing however was the staff - a wonderful, personalised check in and they were very responsive to any queries we had.

There is a lot of construction and renovation works in Porto Old Town, including the apartment next door and on adjoining walls, which meant we couldn’t stay in the apartment from 8.30am - 4pm due to the noise. We paid more for a central apartment so that we could chill out in between sight seeing, but this was not possible.

- The property was located in a perfect location to reach buzzing streets, restaurants and cafes and historical buildings and public transport. - There were great options for breakfast nearby. - The room was equipped with all kinds of clash comforts including coffee machine. - The staff kept in touch through Whatsapp during our stay and I could request anything or ask my questions easily and I would get a reply fast. - Cleanliness was top level, really appreciate the effort from the staff.

This is an increasing comfort point - but in the bathroom there was not many places to store or put my things like make up bags or my shampoo etc inside the shower. I had to get creative about it. This could be improved with some shelves or storage space.

The team organised a private transfer for us from the airport which all went very smoothly. We had clear instructions in advance on how to get into the property; and we were met on arrival as the reception desk was open - staff were always friendly and helpful. The location was ideal - v close to the old town and the river. We were able to leave the buggy in reception so we didn't have to carry it up and down 3 flights of stairs everyday. And we were close to minimarts so we could get supplies for the fridge.

Soundproofing wasn't the best - we could hear people moving around upstairs and it was quite loud/ late at times.

Great value for money, prompt communication and comfortable apartment with great amenities, and fantastic view

Not knowing where exactly the apartment you will be allocated until your arrival, especially if you're not familiar with the city. Mine was about 4 mins walk from the place you pick up the keys, luckily I had small luggage but it would be a challenge to drag big suitcases along the cobblestones street.
