Great location if you’re going to Universal Studios. Staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Pool hours are good. Room was very clean and provided everything we needed/expected. Air conditioner/heater worked well & quickly cooled down/warmed up the room as we needed. Parking lot is huge. There are plenty of non-universal attractions & restaurants within short distances from the hotel. (We 100% recommend Gator Golf!) IMO, great value for the price we paid.

The hallways look a bit run down, and they’ve attempted to hide the age of the hotel under coats of new paint. The toilet in our room usually took three flushes to flush completely. Any movement from the guests staying in the room above us reverberated loudly in our room. Hotel is a bit far from Disney World.

Location! Location! Location! - perfectly close by for park days at Universal Studios/IOA. The staff was AMAZING - very kind & all had great attitudes (you could feel they cared about the customer). The beds were very comfy. Room was clean. I didn't realize the free breakfast included was part of a restaurant they had there that runs $13.99 pls tax per person (rather than an open room by the lobby with a breakfast bar). Upon arrival they had 2 comp breakfast vouchers they give you to you take with you to the restaurant. My original booking only listed myself & my husband (based on my pre-loaded profile as usually its just my husband and I traveling), however we had the kids this trip. I did ask if it was possible to get 2 more breakfast vouchers and the desk clerk got this approved with management. Very kind of them to do this - but just a heads up to make sure your profile lists the correct # of guests as I was under the impression it was a different kind of breakfast set up. Mini-fridge was great & they had a store on site if you needed some water or other convenience items.

The room needed a little TLC but we slept well & it was clean & quiet (which is just what we needed after a long day at the parks). I don't think I would visit the restaurant again. Although we did have the comp vouchers, the food was just ok. I would not have been able to justify spending the $13.99 per person for what was offered. It's a buffet, but it was a bit run down & when we back up for some items, they had run out. With that said, the staff in the restaurant were wonderful - and customer service & just being kind goes a long way in my book :)

We chose it because of the price and being near to Universal, including the twice daily free bus there - it was delayed on the first day and the times were not that flexible, otherwise it was very useful. The breakfast was okay, not great but for the cost it was perfectly adequate. The staff were brilliant - very friendly and helpful Being next door to Universal Dockside hotel meant we could also use their food facilities for some variety (and their shuttle bus!)

Minor things only - maybe a better changing room for the pool and some of the equipment in the gym was missing. Would have preferred a shower in the room but don't know if that was an option Parts of the hotel look a little run down but it was otherwise well service/ stocked with toiletries, coffee, towels etc and great for our stay

Location was great, free parking, pool was great, Chose this hotel because they have a gym. Gym was ok, they have dumbells and a cable machine with a few benches. Better than most hotels!

Keys were a nuisance - not the hotel's fault by any means. I think with modern tech (I have a magentised phone case), the magnetic strips on the cards are prone to being wiped. Just something to be mindful of. Would also like the correct equipment (grips and handles) for the cable machine in the gym. We had to be inventive to get a full isolated workout done but in fairness, it was good fun and we got it done!

Excellent location, the staff was great, especially front desk employee Luciana (sp). Upgraded our room because we were friendly which was nice. I’ve never stayed at budget friendly hotel that actually had a pool bar so that was fun, room was great, towels replaced and garbage emptied daily. Couldn’t hear other guests in the hallways or their room which is rare. All around a good experience.

Not that I didn’t eat there and also enjoy it but the in hotel restaurant was just quick serve fryer foods at kind of steep prices. Chicken strips and mozzarella sticks saved me in a pinch though.

The$ 14.00 breakfast buffet was awesome day 1 hot fresh couldn't asked for better experience. One of the best buffets I have seen had so much to offer. Everyone was super nice. This isn't like your normal buffets.. Liked the basketball court the rim is bent please fix Parking was good Great pool view Vending machines had alot of options only place that had mountain dew 😳 I will say this if your looking for a relaxing time with a hotel that has food this would be a great choice

The grocery store was over priced !!!!!! Day 2 breakfast buffet was different eggs wasn't as good ,sausage and gravy was cold as it wasn't turned on and it was almost 8am when I got there however the did microwave some for me so that was nice My pillow had a stain on it wasn't impressed with that please make sure everything is changed

The rooms were good enough for a one night stay. Hotel is in close proximity to different restaurants and things to do. Room was clean.

As soon as we checked in we were hounded by a lady asking us to sign up for a timeshare and trying to make us feel guilty if we didn't sign up. They have their own booth set up right in the hotel lobby. The hotel was an older hotel and the beds were very bouncy and not comfortable. Pillows were way too soft. Usually hotels give you two firm pillows with two soft pillows, but they were all way too soft where your head sinks right through and is laying on the bed. The closet doors were crooked, and at a closer look you can see it was due to the poor craftsmanship of whoever made the closet space because the doors would not line up correctly and there was about a foot gap for it to close properly. It's an ok hotel to stay at for one night since it's clean and the check-in staff are friendly.

I liked the room that was given because of the great view of the lake. Towels were given every day and the room was very clean every time. The staff were very helpful and very polite. The location is good as it is only a few minutes walk to International Drive. Down the road is Universal Studios. So everything is very close together. Bus stop was next to th hotel, too, so easy to get around.

One night, I had a loud couple next door, but that is the same in every hotel. It's just the luck of the draw.
