Check in was smooth and easy. there were many employees in the lobby willing to help. There’s also people offering vacation packages waiting until check in is done to give a short welcome orientation and sign you up for a breakfast presentation. I read reviews that the hotel did not accept Amex, but I had no problem using my card… it was the tour’s transportation that only accepted Visa or Mastercard The hotel surroundings are beautiful, many blooming gardens. Room was nice. Beds were comfortable. Our favorite pool was the Eden pool. It was empty in the morning, had it all to ourselves. Also enjoyed that there’s a soft serve machine there The beach is stunning, white sand and many different shades of blue and turquoise. It’s cleaned every morning so there’s not a lot of seaweed buildup. One must be cautious when sea bathing due to strong waves and currents, but there are always several lifeguards on duty. People pass by offering photos with monkeys and macaws, but they are respectful and do not insist if you are not interested. Since we were on our wedding anniversary, we decided to do a photo shoot. It was super fun and the photos came out stunning! We did the dolphin tour. The hotel made all the arrangements and everything ran very smoothly. It was a wonderful experience to be able to swim with the dolphins. The location is just a short ride away. We also enjoyed a day at the spa. Highly recommend hydrotherapy and couple’s massage. Food was great, many options to choose from. We loved Ciao for breakfast and lunch (no reservations needed). Toro Steakhouse was very good too.

There were mosquitoes in the room

in general a goos experience . decent number of restaurants, lots of activities. lots of pools. multiple shops and entertainment outlets , good for family with kids. nice beach. decent golf course.

using Hyatt Ziva as benchmark , restaurant quality is not as good. not sure if they have an adult only) section but very noise pool music is on nine to five and lots of kids around , not sure that is the best combination. Legendary Vacation people lie to your face saying they are the only contact point for booking activities and they use the contact point to aggressively push for membership sale. be aware. just check in and call the relevant extension to book for anything

All of the employees had side hussle it gets to be annoying 4. Beach vendors won’t leave you alone. They are always offering service while your trying to relax on tye beach.

it is a beautiful place . it was nice having everything at one location. The beach was beautiful.

Our room’s dead lock did not work. the chain lock did not work. the hot tub was dirty. I believe that the cleaning guy used the hot tub for a mop bucket.

1-the line for take a orden the food 2-the package vendors they have in the lobby are very intense and annoying they want to force you to buy their travel packages. 3-The person they have at the reception is very distracted. The guy who helped me with the check-in was I kept my identity document, after I left the facility I realized that I did not have my identity document and I had to return to the facilities to pick it up and that made me waste a lot of time.

You must understand this is a mass production All-inclusive experience. It is an amazing All-inclusive experience. The food is super for All-inclusive and the party NEVER stops. It's the best vacation you can have if you're looking for fun. You are welcome from the minute you arrive to the moment you leave. The other guests are part of the experience - they are all awesome. Hard Rock training of employees here beats any Hard Rock anywhere in the world - it really deserves recognition. If you're expecting five star dining and butler service then you obviously you are an idiot - so don't leave bad reviews. The place and the people here are a special level of awesome. We'll be back!

It's a huge property. 4000 employees. 2000 rooms. They don't always have time to help you over the phone. Take the 20minute (or wait 20minutes for a golf cart) walk to reception and experience the great service and care. If you don't like 20 min walks then look for a smaller property.

We loved the all inclusiveness of the property. The staff were all super friendly and genuinely welcoming--they were eager to please and even taught us key phrases to speak their language. It was so nice when they recognized us and went above and beyond to connect with us. The food was amazing! There was so much to enjoy! We loved being able to order room service or go to one of the many different restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We absolutely loved the pools, there were soooo many! And we especially appreciated having an adult pool option that also served food! It was nice having so many options when it came to food, most beverages, and especially the excursions. Lastly, we happily took advantage of the discounted offer to return to another of their properties in the future!

We had so many mosquitoes in our room that it was uncomfortable to be in there during down times and when trying to sleep. Our personal concierge was not what we expected in that the only thing he helped us secure the entire time were robes--everything else we ended up doing ourselves. Their alcohol selection was not as varied as we expected to include better selections--for example they only offered scotch whiskey. It would have been nice to enjoy a bigger adults only pool instead of it being the smallest, or it could be better in a different secluded location. Lastly, there was a lot of construction at the property but I expect when they complete it, it will look much better!

Our Butler Leonel was amazing. He never told me no, went way above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I would send him a pic of where we wanted to spend the day and he would reserve the pool or beach spot with towels and our name and send me back a pic when it was ready. He had food delivered to us on the beach and at the pools when we asked. My wife asked for a magical night in the spa tub on the deck with strawberries, champagne, flower petals, candles, etc. One text and he made it happen. The bartenders at Toro were the best. All 3 of them were great guys, lots of fun, and made the perfect espresso martinis, along with the rest of the drinks. Osvaldo was our favorite guy and took good care of us. We ate at Toro 3 nights in a row. Best steaks and sides, as well as atmosphere and service. Overall, amazing trip with beautiful facilities and so many things to do and choose from.

We got food poisoning at Impanema. 3 out of 4 from our group spent the last day in the room very ill. The theater shows were a bit of a let down. They were entertaining and the staff tried really hard. I expected more from Hard Rock considering their budget and reputation. Our server at Zen was extremely rude. I don't think he realized it till the end and he apologized as we were leaving.

The Room was great

The food consistency in market could have been better breakfast and dinner. Many items out of stock for dinner at 8.30pm. No grated parmesan cheese for pasta, no fettucine, no shrimp for pasta ect However service was very attentive. Ipanema Restaurant also a bit disappointing little choice and flavors were not there. Also very dark and gloomy The snacks by the beach and pool were great though. And the bartenders also great. Check in process was quite serious no warmth from agent.
