Comfortable good-sized room. Comfy bed. Various options for lighting. Good Internet speed, which I needed. Attentive staff. As I was working on a project, I took full board, and the food per meal had sufficient variety. Overall it is very good value for money.

Minor issues which the hotel did its best to help me with. Hot water could be hotter. Desk socket tabletop positioning meant not all devices could be plugged in, but there were ample sockets options around the room to charge and then work off batteries. Room had an adjoining door to the next room, and the sound insulation was not great, so next time, I would ask for a room where there is no adjoining door.

Staff was very friendly and everything was clean, the breakfast was varied and delicious with very good and nice chef, hotel location in the middle of the city

For me it is a 4 start hotel not 5, because for a hotel with 5 stars, the room was small, pool has a bad location and view, parking needs a professional driver to park or give it to a valet. The breakfast end at 10:30, which is early for Qatar, where life start evening due to strong sun, especially for tourists, so its better if breakfast end at 12:30 instead of 10:30.

The hotel itself was comfortable, with the beds offering particularly restful sleep. The cafes at the hotel provided food/refreshments throughout the day and the room service was quite efficient. Breakfast was sufficiently plentiful, though somewhat uninspiring. The breakfast staff was always on hand, pleasant and helpful. The hairdressing salon was a treat, as were the staff in it, such as Salma the hairdresser and Donna, her assistant. The salon owner was equally gracious and all three most helpful in providing a range of recommendations on Doha.

The hotel itself provided the essential facilities but needed upgrading/renovating. The tiles in the pool were coming loose, for example and the room could do with more updated decor.

The location is near from all the places that i planned to visit. I liked that it was quiet most of the days and i had a well uninterrupted sleep most of the nights. They have valet service , the valet guy and the entire staff were friendly and helpful all the times

In my last night the alarm kept ringing and it bothered me alot. They need to work on their response time as it took them forever to provide whatever I requested (luggage, iron, the extra bed..etc). The hotel will need refurbishment the floor squeaks alot.

I liked the cleanliness and the good service. It is worth mentioning that the bed was so comfortable. Also, I liked that for that same prices range I couldn’t find an offer with breakfast included anywhere but in the Avenue Hotel and it turned out to be a very good breakfast :)

The hotel looks a little bit old. I didn’t like two things in the room. First of all the squeaky kind of sticky parquet floor. It was so disturbing especially if my roommate was sleeping or the opposite. Second of all the extremely noisy air conditioner.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating to our needs. From the time of check-in, Anne welcomed us as if she was welcoming a friend into her home. During our stay, Gopal made sure our room was clean during his housekeeping checks and ensured that we had all the amenities we need and more. All the staff were quick and ready to assist at all times with whatever requests we had.

Rooms were a bit outdated and the security box in our room didnt work. I was informed that none of the security boxes in the hotel.

The location was perfect as there were many malls close by also with a metro station a 2 minute walk away and numerous different food options available in the area. The breakfast had a decent variety and was well made and the chefs and waiters were always happy taking requests for specific dishes. The staff at the reception were exceptional as I had booked a room with my dad and upon entry I was told there was only one bed albeit a king size one which is what I had booked for but the staff went above and beyond and informed us that if a bigger and more suitable room became available they would upgrade us free of charge which is what they did. Specifically Marouane helped with any issue and any request instantly and done all he could to ensure we had the best stay possible.

The elevators were often faulty and upto 2/3 not working at certain times especially with only one lift going to the top floor which sometimes took upto 5 minutes when called was a disappointment.

Very friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner. Very good value for money.

We had big problems with email communcation before arrival. We have sent about 10 emails about our booking (online card payment was not working) and had no single answer. Contact via phone was also not working. Booking.com had to make an intervention, after which we received a emial from the hotel with confirmation that payment can be done on site.

Underpriced for what it offers, truly a remarkable stay at a very affordable but amazing hotel. Room and bathroom were very clean. Big bed with comfortable and cold duvet. Supermarket just underneath the hotel is very convenient for a midnight snack. Cafe in the lobby provides amazing cuppuccinos.

Could not connect my chromecast to the TV, and the TV programs were not entertaining. Other housemates leaving their leftover food on the floor outside their room which caused an unpleasant smell in the corridor. AC sometimes wouldnt change temperature. Could not charge my laptop on the table due to how the sockets were placed.
