I had a great stay in this hotel despite my passport being lost on the ride from the airport for 2 days. All the members of the staff were so supportive and helpful - I mean everyone from cleaners to security personnel to all managers. Such a good vibes and caring people! Everyone did all that was in their power to help me identify the taxi I came in and gave me all the advices needed for going to police and etc. I was very lucky and my passport was returned by an honest taxi driver so I could continue my travel. So biggest thank you to these wonderful people from Al Reef Malaz International hotel. You’re the stars! Now on to the actual hotel :) Big pluses for me were: the huge double bed with a comfortable sturdy mattress, I slept like a baby. The sheets were fresh and clean. Hot shower was perfect and I also had a bath tub. The air conditioner worked just right and I always had a very pleasant atmosphere in the room. The room itself was spacious, had all I needed including a working fridge. Most importantly for me as I’m a light sleeper it was very calm through the night which helped me sleep very well. The hotel looks pretty standard, the cleaners are always cleaning and it seems really organised. Check in process was spotless and easy. Most managers speak perfect English and were very wellcoming. What could be improved? The carpet had some old stains but it was cleaned. So it’s more a visual thing. WiFi wasn’t working very well in my room so I was using it in the reception area for the guests. Above all I appreciated the warmth, kindness and understanding of all the staff members in this hotel and the human factor will always be the most important for me. If you’re looking for a 5 star hotel experience you won’t find it here. You should be ready to pay 10 times more for that and look somewhere else. For the price you’re paying I think it’s a great choice if you want a good sleep in a place where you are really welcomed. Thank you!

Door locks, no toiletries, water leakage, no way to connect reciption or staff via room need to go down and infirm them.

The two guy in receptionist is very nice and very respectable
