The Townhouse is everything a boutique hotel should be, from the very first moment you arrive. David the host makes you feel like old friends who've just dropped in for a visit. The room was exceptional. Large, warm and with a lovely view over the park. Beautiful welcome details like scones and jam, and thoughtful notes about the source of the (very good) coffee. The standard of cleanliness is outstanding. The breakfast was brilliant - all cooked by David (who really is the host with the most). If you like a litte luxury and want to feel ridiculously pampered, then book the Townhouse.

Id like to thank David and his husband for a fantastic stay! The Townhouse is such a stunning house in a beautiful setting. With gorgeous period features everywhere and it her been decorated to an impeccable standard, in keeping with it's charm. David's breakfast's were on point, nothing was missed and great choice. We even had a knife holder, mini jam and sauce pots too 😀 Our room was very luxurious, had everything we needed and more! We even forgot our key one night and had to ring the bell, we were still served breakfast in the morning 😂 I'd also like to thank the cleaning staff, especially, Julie - David, you will appreciate that 😂 Hope to return soon, though David may say he is full 😉 Thanks, Elaine Rough xx

Once in a very rare while you encounter a B&B that is indeed exceptional, and the Town House is one such, matched by only 2 others world wide in the past 5 years. Every aspect is perfect and we enjoyed an outstanding stay in Perth. We had an enormous room at ground floor level (some 15 feet above the street), with a charming view over Perth's park. Indeed, it was more suite than a room, with a separate seating area, delightfully furnished and a most comfortable bed. A proper cream tea awaited our arrival, a charming touch. The large bathroom boasted a superb shower - sheer delight in a world of power showers that aren't. We enjoyed the heroic and delicious breakfast, which allowed us to forego lunch during our onward travel to the far north. Our host David had thought of everything, full of excellent advice and a maestro in the breakfast kitchen. So much of the Town House's excellence rests on his attention to detail and exemplary standards. We cannot commend the Town House highly enough; it really is outstanding. Thank you.

One tiny detail: a heating element for the bathroom mirror would be a good addition.

How can you improve on perfection? Why not pay a visit here and you will find out. My second stay and another fantastic stay at an absolutely stunning bed and breakfast. Rooms are beautiful, great location and so handy for Perth Town Centre. Spoilt for choice with your breakfast options and the Pièce de Résistance is the wonderful David. A fabulous host who makes you feel so welcome and special. even if you are a bit fussy with your fruit like me. Already booked my next visit and can't wait to spend more time in such luxurious setting.

The whole hotel was beautiful decorated within keeping of the style of the property (Georgian) Room we had was big with large bathroom with bath and separate shower In arrival owner ,Laurent introduced himself showed us our room There where lovely touches in there water scones cream and jam ground coffee fresh milk sleep spray and small chocolates perfectly thought out Also for the smoker among us there was a bench with ashtray and matches just outside sheltered Breakfast freshly cooked was amazing we where greeted by David the other owner also chef Absolutely stunning place wonderful owners we felt like friends when we left 🙏

Absolutely nothing !!!!

The whole experience was first class. stayed 28/07/2024. Before arrival enquire re leaving luggage as arriving early, no problem, happened the room was ready. Arrival greeting fab, attention to detail brilliant through out the whole stay, David and Laurent gave the impression that it is more than a job its a passion and this showed in the place and their greeting. with some unexpected extras, which made it a first class experience. Would highly recommend the Townhouse Hotel as long as it doesn't get too busy, meaning no room for us, next time. This review comes for a person that hates reviews and does not do them. always an exception to everything. Thanks again David and Laurent.

Nothing they even sorted the weather!

Beautifully curated furniture and pictures. Great selection of teas, shortbread and scones for tea on arrival. Parking and personable host who was conversational and authentic. Lots of little comforts like sweet jars in the hallway, Epsom salts for the bath and fresh soft bathrobe on request. Breakfast was flexible and well cooked. A delight of a stay in easy walking distance from Perth Centre, and parking space. Highly recommend!

David was a wonderful host and made you feel really welcome from the moment you arrived. The property is beautiful and in a really stunning location. Whilst it's central, it's also really quiet - we had a lovely walk across the park to the gardens. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was furnished to a high standard and spotless - loads of extra touches, individual chocolates, welcome scones/jam, shortbread biscuits, wide selection of teas, fresh milk and posh coffee, fluffy bathrobes. Breakfast was amazing too - local produce for the cooked breakfast with loads of choise, as well as fresh fruit, juices, and warm croissants. Really homely and worth every penny! Forget the dull hotel chains - these guys go the extra mile and really care about their guests and the service they provide.

Nothing - wish we could have stayed longer

David is incredible host, and with Laurent they have a beautiful property with well appointed rooms. I had the pleasure of staying there at the beginning and end of a seven 7 day bikepacking trip around the East / Cairngorms returning very muddy and broken. I can say very truthfully that i was looking forward to returning and putting my sore and clean feet up at the end of the trip for R&R. I stayed in two rooms, and both were fantastic. This is definitely a place to remember, and one i shall return to on my next visit to Perth. Breakfast is also very good, cooked to order by David.

Everything about this place was excellent! Our host was friendly and welcomed us with individual attention. Our room was large and comfortable, with a separate seating area, generous "extras" and perfect attention to detail. Our bathroom was clean and contained all we needed in the way of shower gels and shampoo etc. We had homemade croissants and fresh fruit salad at breakfast and our hot food was freshly prepared for us. The Townhouse is close enough to be able to walk into the centre of Perth.

Everything was perfect! We would have liked to stay longer!
