We loved our stay. Hannong Hotel is central, walking distance to important sights, good restaurants, supermarkets and all we needed , comfortable, clean and has the kindest staff.

The team were absolutely wonderful! There was not one moment that I could fault. All the way from the reception team, restaurant team and housekeeping; all were friendly and helpful. We were particularly charming with the little attentions throughout our stay. We didn’t have shampoo and they were very quick to remedy this with a whole bottle of shampoo, almost immediately after we asked for help. They also took us through a range of recommendations for the local area, without hesitating to take the time to ask questions. The room was practical and comfortable. Nothing to complain about. My husband and I are so pleased with our stay, and my mother in law really enjoyed her stay too.

The walls were a touch thin and we could hear our neighbours. Didn’t impact our stay or sleep though.

Lovely staff. All very helpful and kind. They even recommended a few places for new year’s eve dinner. The room we booked was small but it was warm, nice and quiet and it had everything we needed, the bed was super comfortable. Everything you crave after being out in the cold exploring the city. This is a very cozy hotel, nicely decorated, it is located very close to Galaries Lafayette and walking-distance to 'must-see' places like the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg. The breakfast was great. They also offered complementary coffee, juice and panettone at the hotel bar upon checking in. For our stay, we parked at the Indigo Strasbourg, Kleber Parking facility, which was walking distance to the hotel. We received a discount for the parking fee. Everything went well for us. I left the beautiful city of Strasbourg with a very pleasant feeling to kick off the new year and our lovely time at this hotel contributed to it. Definitely recommended.

The location of the hotel was brilliant - right in the centre of town with easy access to the train station. The bathroom was great with a powerful shower. Everything was very clean and well-kept. I loved the juicer available at breakfast, and the range on offer was generally good.

The room was very small. I was woken frequently at night by noise from the other guests - because the rooms have floorboards and not carpet, people wearing shoes in the room above me were very loud. I would have preferred more prepared fruit at breakfast: it was quite bread-and-cheese heavy, and expensive for my preferences but if a more substantial breakfast is what you want then there was plenty of it.

Location is excellent, near enough to the station and the old town. Room was large and clean. Very large shower (made for two!) housekeeping was very good. Visited the wine bar one evening, wine and food very good. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't partake.

Overall the stay was excellent, a couple of small issues. The website seemed to indicated that the superior rooms had a bath, which we prefer. On allocation of the room, there was no bath, we asked to move to a room with a bath, but on inspection, there was no bath again. We decided to stick with this room to save moving again, although it would be an advantage if the reception staff actually knew which of the rooms had baths in them! As this is classed as a 4 star hotel, the coffee making facilities are poor. Instant sachets of cheap coffee and a kettle - a coffee machine would have been nice. We didn't get any nice gifts as other reviews stated, maybe because we booked via booking.com. We would have liked the staff to be a little bit more attentive, especially in the wine bar.

The front desk staff and wine bar servers were fabulous! All very helpful, kind and accommodating. The cleaning staff was also fabulous. We never saw them but they made the rooms up for us every day promptly and nicely. The location of the hotel is perfect or exploring both Petite France and downtown area. Great restaurants and bars close by. Parking was a breeze at Kleber and the discounted price as hotel guest much appreciated. The hotel was spotless. Continental plus breakfast was well done. Visited the Decorative Art Museum at the Rohan Palace and found it interesting to see the china and other pieces made at factory that once stood where the hotel stands today. We had a first floor room, but our companion appreciated the elevator having room on the 5th floor

WiFi was not good in our room. A bit disappointing as it was Christmas time and wanted to watch some movies.

I like that they are very thoughtful- the small gesture of gifting us specialties of Strasbourg such as a bottle of Vin Chaud, Christmas Stollen and parting gift which is a cute candle. The hotel was fully booked but, they were very accommodating to our inquiries. Staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfy. We stayed in their family room that is facing a quiet inner yard, so despite of being in the city center, we didn't hear any noise from outside.The hotel is walking distance to La Fayette department store and so many restaurants around. Carrefour, wine shop, and Boulangerie are just around the corner.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city without being noisy nor crowded. It was very close to 'Petite France', 'Cathédrale' and 'Place Kléber', among others. The history of the building makes it very atmospheric and together with the interiors it is at the same time modern and charming. The room was very bright, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very spacious and had all the amenities. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel but I enjoyed the wine bar. It had very nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly and kind. David at the reception was very polite, warm and helpful.

Great location in the old town, everything is close by. Very welcoming and hospitable staff; they didn't just smile but really tried to help. Great internet - just a password for Wifi, no silly adverts at the page opening. And most of all I liked that the service was "old style", like 10-20 years ago. Not many hotels like that left anymore, unfortunately.
