Check in was easy, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great position, easy access either walking or driving to all of the main Cape Town attractions. Room had everything I required for my stay so would thoroughly recommend this establishment.

The space in the room was a little smaller than the clever photography made it look, however this was not a major concern for me.

At first I thought there was no space to unpack clothes, but I soon discovered the creative space in the room. I stayed a week and it was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the work space in the room was very spacious, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the pool on the 6th floor is amazing, and the location is great for Green Point and Sea Point. I also felt very safe at all times. There is also a great work space 500m down the road called SOHO, fantastic work space as well and great coffee! I would highly recommend this hotel for location, space, comfort and safety.

This is no fault of the hotel, but my room did look onto a backpackers, and the owner / manager stood out on the balcony smoking / drinking his coffee on a regular basis, so I always had to keep my blind closed while I was in the room. I would therefore highly recommend the room with a view.

A nice modern hotel designed for business travellers but equally suitable for couples and families. It has a usable but small gym and a lovely roof terrace (with pool) which has stunning views. Staff were friendly and approachable but some training and/or policy changes needed.

Half-board was a suitable option for us but it would have been nice if there were more variety, especially for dinner. The buffet felt like it was similar every night. Breakfast was from 6am-11am but food was fairly scarce by 9am and nobody was really checking to see if anything needed topping up. By the time it was, it felt like starting again. Toast was prepared in bulk using one of those conveyor machines in the adjacent room but placed out on a plate which meant they were cold. Would have been better for guests to make their own as needed.

The location was perfectly based for our needs. The staff were excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean and felt very safe. The breakfasts were of good quality and plenty of it. Underground parking was great too and very secure. The surrounding area by the harbour and park were very pleasant to walk around. Also walking to the centre of the town to Victoria wharf is easy too. Full of life and shops, restaurants also book and pick up boat rides to Robben Island. I also did a helicopter ride with Sport Helicopters and it was amazing. All the staff were fabulous and especially Robert.

Sound proofing in the bedrooms is not great, lots of noise when someone flushed the toilet or doors opening and shutting.

The Anew Hotel is a beautiful, modern hotel. It's centrally located and very close to the V&A Waterfront, where I had to attend training. The staff were very helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to accommodate a special request we had (Thank you Tevin!) Breakfast was amazing, with a variety of options to choose from. The room was neat and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely visit again in the future!

The location was amazing, the front desk staff namely sisanda was fantastic. The pool 💯 and loved the gym. The shower is awesome

The room had flaws, the mirror in our room was broken, that's dangerous! The shower leaked into the the room. House keeping did not clean the room when we left it for more than 3hrs coming back from where we were to a dirty room wasn't great. The hotel promotes cashlessness and when I wanted to tip sisanda at the front desk I was told, that I can tip in Cash but I never have hard cash on me so maybe get an ATM on premises? On the last day I couldn't go up to the pool deck for some reason 🥺

Hotel location is really good, city center is in walking distance, as well as V&A waterfront area. Also Sea Point and Camps Bay are close, so its ideal if you would like to explore the area. Pool is on the rooftop, with nice view, sunbeds etc. Breakfast was nice, however it had very limited variety. Despite that we enjoyed it. Staff was kind and helpful!!

No power outlets near mirrors.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower was very nice. The parking was fantastic and the restaurant and lobby area is really nice to relax in and enjoy food and drinks.

I booked a seaview with a balcony room, but we were on the 2nd floor and did not have a seaview at all. I did ask if we could be higher up, but there was no availability for that type of room. It would have been a downgraded room if we wanted to be on a higher floor.

Location is perfect. Close to the stadium. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, beach, promenade. The staff are the friendliest people you can find, and their drivers are the absolute BEST people! So, so friendly and go out of their way for you!!

Room was a bit cramped. Not spacious at all. Very, very basic and felt a bit over-priced. If the room is for 2 people, why provide only 1 complimentary bottle of water??
