The executive suite was nice and spacious. Very clean and tastefully decorated. The staff were amazing with the exception of room service staff. I would definitely stay here again as it was nicely located for all amenities and activities within town and surrounds.

Room service staff dropped the ball when it came to timeous delivery and they forgot items in the order the both times we ordered. The music from reception/restaurant area is rather loud so it was difficult to get any sleep with a room on the lower floor and it’s on throughout the night so I’d suggest lowering volume at the very least.

The hotel values making profit over loyalty to in-house guests. my partner and I stayed with this hotel for 1 week , the hotel knew we were extending and not checking out . they took a new booking and proceeded to ask us to check into a new room of which was smaller and of a higher rate - NO complimentary breakfast or compensation for their inconvenience towards us . I don’t know if I can suggest you staying at this hotel more than 1 week - they might chase you out like they did us .

Sumptuous breakfast spread

Hostess at the restaurant reception was unfriendly. Her attitude was unwelcoming and repeatedly mentioned that the restaurant was due to close in 10 mins at which point I asked if she preferred I did not eat my breakfast. she quickly realised my disappointment and tried to smile. Recommend further training and coaching is implemented

The breakfast is amazing! It’s such an extensive buffet with loads of options (cold cuts, cheeses, cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit salad, pastries and bakery goods, selection of fresh artisan breads, a hot buffet with the usual suspects, waffles/pancakes and eggs made to order). The rooms are a good size and the bed and linen is incredibly comfortable. I loved having a bath tub as part of the bathroom set up. The staff are incredibly warm, helpful and friendly. They helped me get a doctor when the cold I caught in transit wouldn’t get better. I ended rebooking to finish off my stay in Cape Town here.

The pool is more of a plunge pool - you won’t be able to swim laps in it.

The hotel itself, the room and the staff were all very nice and the room was very tidy and clean.

The only thing I'd mention is that we waited at the bar for quite a while before the bartender was able to come around to serve us as he was a bit preoccupied with making orders for the restaurant (not patrons sitting at the bar) and the waiters who were waiting for their orders kept crowding right next to us at the bar. It was quite annoying and bothersome as they kept talking loudly. Perhaps having them wait or ask for their orders at the back of the bar would work better. The cocktails we were served were very strong and not tasty at all. We could both only taste the alcohol. There were also one or two items on the cocktail menu that apparently "weren't being made anymore". Perhaps the menu could be updated.

A little further from the action that what I initially thought, as safety is a concern in cape town we needed to get an Uber for everywhere in the evenings. Although there are some cafe's/restaurants/woolworths/starbucks etc in the area. All spa facilities are chargeable (sauna as well)

For a start the location of the hotel was unreal, the view from the restaurant was of Table Mountain... it was beautiful. The staff went over and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The concierge service was brilliant. I would especially like to mention Leanne and her assistant for their warmth, help and knowledge about Cape town which made our first time in Cape Town, an unforgettable experience.

I really cannot fault anything as our entire time at the hotel was a fantastic experience.

The service that we received was wonderful. During the check-in David made us feel so welcome and even surprised me with something sweet to celebrate my birthday. The room was very spacious and had everything you need.

I completely understand that the hotel is a no - smoking hotel, but it would be nice to have designated smoking areas on the different levels (not only at the pool area - was a bit cold at night).

It was really nicely done, felt like quite a big hotel but managed to keep a very friendly feel. The staff were exceptional. we arrived way before check in at around 9.30am and feeling quite jaded from overnight flight and they arranged shower facilities, drinks, clean towels etc so we could freshen up, and then the brilliant Guest Manager, Leanne upgraded us so we could check in early. the room was fantastic. All of the staff was so helpful. I feel terrible that I did t learn anyone else’s name, but the other manager in t( reception area was also brilliant as were the bar staff, and the breakfast team. There is a very nice bar area, an outside area with a small pool and the hotel lounge area has lovely decor. Breakfast was really good. Overall I can’t remember better customer service and a better stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back when I return to Cape Town. It was really great.
