Loved the location and the staff were exceptional, very helpful and trustworthy. My husband accidentally left his wedding ring on the table and we were gone for the whole day. When we came back, the ring was still there. They do provide a good English breakfast as well.

No generator installed, which was annoying during the load shedding periods. The street could be a bit noisy at times with music and people walking, as it is a very central hotel. Booking.com has to update its description as the hotel no longer provides the free shuttle to the V&A Waterfront.

The location was very central, right next to the excellent South African Natural Museum and Planetarium, Park, and shopping districts. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean, food was very good, especially the cooked breakfasts.

Very little, but a big bugbear was WiFi was very poor. I was there three days before the connection allowed me to even log in. Also, (and this applies to most SA hotels!) practically every meal choice comes with chips. Yes, you can opt for a salad, but have never seen rice on the menu so far in all three hotels I have stayed in.

the staff were very friendly but they did not organise enough breakfast for the quests, if you didn't come down around 07h00 then by the time you there they wouldn't be any left

Breakfast was really a highlight. 3 different types of breakfast available, plentiful, delicious coffee, juices, and the staff was A+++++/. There is indoor and outdoor seating for just hanging out and a bar available until around 8 p.m. Indoor and outdoor areas are lovely.

City shuts off electricity 2 hours a day, it is unavoidable. It shuts down the AC but the hotel has made solar lights and elevator access available to minimize disruption.

The restaurant downstairs is beautiful and quiet I was about to do my work there and the people in the restaurant were kind enough to help me charge my laptop and were constantly going out of their way to ensure I’m happy. The night security guard was very courteous and so were the reception staff. I always felt safe as they would wait for me to get into the Uber when I would go out at night and I had countless great conversations with all the staff. It felt like a home away from home and I would go back everytime

This hotel is excellent. It had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. The location was great as it was very central and costs for Uber were very affordable. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. We really enjoyed the pool area and the privacy that came with it as well.

We visited during a time when SA has been plagued with rolling blackouts. I feel it would be best for the hotel to get a backup generator or UPS for this. The staff, however did their best to handle this situation and ensure that guests were comfortable.

The room was extremely comfortable and clean with a fantastic view of Table Mountain. The breakfast was very good with a good selection of food options for all tastes.

The location of the Hotel was very close to an area that was frankly not safe to walk around and was some considerable distance from the main tourist area of the V & A Waterfront. The only way of travelling safely was by Uber, which was a reliable and cheap option.

The breakfast was a nice little buffet. The rooms were very clean and comfortable for one person. There were very soft robes, which were nice! The staff was extremely helpful, never allowing me to carry my heavy bag unless I wanted to.

Might have been a little too small for multiple people. I didn’t receive any hair soaps and there isn’t a blow dryer. The view was just of a small street and some buildings, but overall, I enjoyed the stay

Room comfy and spacious. View of Table Top mountain from window great! Staff professional and friendly. Dinner very nice but menu limited. Good location for many of the museums and gardens.

Only single glazed windows so wind whistled through making a bit of a noise in restaurant and in room. Load shedding meant all electricity off for two-three hours most days, sometimes at inconvenient times. Know this is an issue though out Cape Town but hopefully they will install generator soon. Not many restaurants in local area.

The rooms and Bathrooms are big, almost like home.. the place is clean, and quiet. The floor is well taken care of, so no funny smells. On arrival, they are very friendly and professional, oh and they have great coffee

Just a minor issue is for the breakfast staff to mark the meat, we almost ate pork on our last morning.
