The location and price is the only plus points.

The place is old. Doors don’t work properly. Electricity in your room doesn’t work most of the time. The place is not the cleanest as well.

Very good location: beaches, swimming pool, bus stops, Checkers, Spar, Woolworths supermarkets are nearby. I liked the Lion's head view from the room. Bed is comfortable, blanket is normal. They give towel. WiFi was good for me. They try to keep the bathroom always clean.

I didn't like the furniture, but it is not a big deal. You will hear your neighbor a little bit, but that is "normal". A hanger would be good for clothes in the bathroom.

The staff are very friendly, with quick responses to any grievances. It’s clean and well kept. Definitely get value for money.

The best of Cape Town budget. Comfortable, clean, tranquil, perfect location, helpful and considerate staff, and definitely value for money. It seems that MoTown takes reviews seriously. Cos all the issues complained about in reviews are not there anymore. Did I mention: close to beach, shops and hang-out place Mojo Market?

People need to learn to chill. In fact I think that sometimes people feel compelled to complain about something in these reviews. This place blew my low expectations. Budget is what I came for, far better than budget is what I got.

Location is excellent, it is clean, the staff is very friendly. I travelled on a small budget and thus do not complain that the room is small and the facilities are very basic.

During the week one has to be back at midnight and on the weekend by 02:00h

Centrally located as it's a five-minute walk in any direction to eateries and the Promenade, but the property itself is in a quiet street with safe street parking. Staff were really great and helpful, and I was overjoyed when they upgraded my stay unexpectedly. The room I stayed in was nice, comfy bed and mountain view from the bedroom, kitchen well equipped and nice warm shower. Will definitely use this was my go-to accommodation when visiting that part of the world.

The location was excellent and the building and rooms were pretty comfortable and easy to stay in with a mid-century character and homely feel.

The layout is a little strange with some old apartments divided up into rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom. Other guests did not clean up after themselves in the kitchen. The single room crash pads were very small but suitable for one person.

location is very nice, safe to walk around during the day and also short distances in the early evening, staff is friendly and helpful extended our stay after 3 nights cause we liked it so much. changed to a smaller room then which was perfectly fine as well

in our first room: tv didn't work in the smaller room: no mirror in the room and also no mirror in the bathroom, only outside the room in the hallway was one

The place is convenient to all shops, restaurants and bus station. This made it very very easy for me to travel around. Two blocks down is Mojo market for evening chill out with live music which I enjoyed very much. The staff is super friendly and ready to assist you with anything. They are the best... Definitely going to stay there whenever l am in Cape Town.
