I saw the reviews about the breakfast before I booked, and I must say it was amazing. I iniitially booked for one night purely because of the location. I found myself extending for 3 more nights. The centrality of this hotel makes it a gem. It's close to almost everything you need with Long street just behind, and the pick up point for sight seeing just a minute's walk on the corner of long street and long market.. It's surprisingly quiet despite the market be very close. Kudos to the staff, from the front office staff, restaurant, bar, security and potters they were all genuinely helpful at all times. Good value for money! 😊

The bathroom was small and cramped. I had to squeeze myself out each time. Toilet seat way too close to the door, if you're 6'5 you'll definely hate it. Airconding worked fine but was a bit noisy. Needs to replaced with a modern unit. Old tvs with limited Dstv channels. A smart TV should be standard in 2023.

Not in a safe area, even walking just 1 block staff said it's not safe, on a few occasions they did come with me to the establishment for safety. A lot of hassling from beggars and market vendors.

Breakfast was awesome .you cater for all our needs. The market and passages next to hotel little creepy and noisy early morning. The facilities inside hotel especially the sauna, pool, gym. Rooms family friendly. Thanks for parking our car in a safe area.

Unfair pricing for the family price . No effort/options/ choice but led to book 2 separate rooms. Pricing for leisure versus government employees benefits not availed and explained. Only was informed by reception staff on checking in about benefits. Booking system only allowed access to the hotel for enquiry after payment is made. So unfair and seek recourse. Room 514 and 515 just for profits.

I loved the market just outside the hotel, the buffet breakfast was amazing and loved how you could take a stroll to other restuarants near by

The bedroom we slept in was great other than the bathroom. The bathroom was very small and you couldnt close the door without getting over the toilet and pushing the door from behind you. The pool was out of order and we wanted to swim that day, the sonar room was in a very scary location. really far from everything

A bit more training on some of the staff members from as l could hear her talking badly about some of the visitors. This is not a joke to backchat guests just because they could hear her. She spoke in vernacular. The guest were whites and did not hear her. She also complained that she not receive a tip from them yet she needs the money. Please THOROUGHLY TRAIN your employees about customer service, it was such let down from an amazing stay at the hotel. Whether the guests could not hear her speaking negatively in Xhosa. I did and was left wondering what she would say about us when we leave.

I don't usually go for hotels in central areas, where all the buzz & vibe is, but ONOMO really changed my perspective on this! The hotel is located in a square on Longmarket street, just off Long street. Long street is a very busy street for Cape Town nightlife, so I was especially suspicious of this location, but I couldn't even hear a peep from my room! The breakfast was absolutely sublime and the staff are honestly the hotel's most precious resource; I would return just to experience their hospitality once again. An absolutely enjoyable stay and very, very good value for money! Just to note: Parking is R80 per day off the premises. The valet will park it and fetch it for you when you need it.

Perfectly situated if you like city bustle. Nice view from the rooms, even on the first floor. Good hotel but not stiff - it accommodates all sorts of people and has charming employees who recognise you. We got the service we asked for (late dinner when we arrived and a driver/car for a day). Great pool terrace with a relaxed atmosphere. Great breakfast, restaurant and bar (which includes informal seating outside).

The music in the restaurant was almost unbearable. We had four nights here and heard the same screaming (pop) hits from the 00s and up again and again, too loud. Also, one of the two elevators was out of order the whole time. (But the stairs are fine.) We - a family with three teenagers - were given three rooms on different floors: a bit of a puzzle, how to share, especially as one room had a broken door and defect locks. (The two adults ended up sleeping in a single bed.) Shame a family is not placed together (when booking many months in advance).

The whole staff was excellent, especially Ntandaza. Although all of them where excellent from the guy who fetched us at the airport to the security guys. I would recommend it to my friends.

We were in Cape Town for Twooceans marathon, on the day of the race, we called the hotel/ restaurant and asked them to put aside our breakfast cause we could see that we won't make it on time. When we reach the hotel, we were told that they left the buffet for an extra 20 minutes, and we did not show up so they packed everything. That was the only thing we were not happy about otherwise the entire stay was excellent 👌.
