We had a wonderful stay at Cresta Grande which is very well located. The hotel is very close to the many popular attractions with a maximum of 15 mins drive to for example Table mountain, Canal Walk & kenilworth amongst others. Places like Bo kaap/ Greenmarket/ Red bus office are a walk away while the V&A is a 7 mins drive from the hotel. Their staff are always courteous and responsive. Many thanks to them all specially Fawwaz, Waleed and Jayson.

As many other guests mentioned, breakfast is the same every day. But this will not prevent me from booking this hotel again.

Good view of table mountain from room, location is ideal, short drives to get places. Was safe to walk the streets even late at night. Can't do that in Johannesburg, Durban or even Benoni Breakfast was good, had the pastries, meat not halal

Very little parking on property, had to park at a shopping center and walk 2 blocks to hotel. No shower head, only hand held shower

The Hotel was a pleasant stay. It is well located, central, we even walked to the V&A Waterfront, but just during daytime. It is not recomended to walk after dark. We appreciated that our room had coffee and tea, a water heater, a small fridge and a safe. There are many restaurants in the area and there is Pick n Pay supermarket just around the corner. The staff was very welcoming and willing to help. We were able to leave our luggage in a dedicated room after check out.

The bathroom was not very modern, but it was clean and on the plus side it had a shower and a bath tub as well.

The reception staff, especially Mel and her male colleague was very friendly and helpful. Dinner was top notch and very good value for money. Excellent full breakfast with wonderful variety and friendly, helpful staff. Room was very clean, comfortable, quiet and well appointed. Excellent wifi.

I really cannot think of anything. I can sincerely recommend this hotel to any traveller. Very good value for money and excellent location. Our car could even be parked safely in their garage @R100, which was worth it. We could not initially finish our breakfast because we overslept and had an appointment, but the staff let us return to finish our breakfast! How great is that?!

Friendliness of staff especially at the reception and mostly Guy named Jayson was extremely helpful and friendly. Also the reststaff was so welcoming and passionate about giving us what we asked for. The guy at the reception helped us when we needed to check out an hour later due to our late flights. Thanks guys

That the mirror in our room was not cleaned through out the whole stay. And I traveller's with toddler you know how they liked mirrors. Also I had to ask for sugar and milk in our room to make coffee,it took them the whole 2 hours to bring it to my room,I had to phone twice asking for it. Eventually they brought it. Also we didn't have a body wash in our but we had 4 shampoos instead for whole stay. Soap was only put day one and not after that.. The air wasn't working properly. It was very hot in the rooms more at nights

The hotel located in downtown Cape Town was a great choice in a safe area. The area has safety patrol officers at each corner who also are helpful giving directions. The hotel is 16 stories with great views of Table Mountain from the upper floors on one side of the hotel. I was fortunate to get one of those rooms. The staff were great especially the several bellmen to get you a taxi or order Uber for transportation along with helping with baggage. The beds are very comfortable and the spacious rooms fully equipped and the bathrooms have a separate tub and also an enclosed shower. An expansive buffet breakfast is serviced on the second floor starting at 6:30am with a wonderful staff and cost ZAR200 if not included in your room rate. There is an pool adjoining the restaurant on the second floor. It's an easy 30 minute walk to the V & A waterfront area from the hotel and close to the Bo-Kapp and De Waterkant areas. There is a PicknPay supermarket a block from the hotel. This hotel was my base before and after taking a five day tour of the Garden Route.

The hotel has many daily group tours arriving each afternoon and seem to depart the next morning so the breakfast area can become very crowded. Elevator service can become very busy for the three working elevators during those times. The staff do an excellent job to handle this matter.

Staff is awesome, they make you feel welcome from front desk to house keeping. Always help full and friendly.

1. The sports channels on the tv is totally out off place. There’s at least 3 soccer channels and I don’t know why a Spanish channel in South Africa. Some of the most trending sports in the world doesn’t even get’s featured on there. For instance Formula 1 racing and not even mentioning other sports. 2. The complementary water thats being offered to guests is not in a secure container and can just as well be normal tap water. It’s a step back from previous visits.

Nice hospitality and great facilities.

It would be great if your Lift could be fixed. When we checked in we were informed that there is an issue that would be resolved within the next 2 days, but after 9 nights spent the issue remained same. We were very much deceived by the quality of fruits in the breakfast buffet. In Mauritius, our fruits come mostly from SA, but after having fruits from your Restaurant, we would say we are supplied with much better quality in our market.

The room had great facilities, lots of plug points. Beautiful vistas. Nice linen and towels. The staff were very friendly. Unbelievable value. It is across the road from the visa agencies and near many restaurants.

There was a a good array and choices for the buffet breakfast but the food was very bland. It could have done with better spicing in terms of flavour.

They gave me a corner room on the top 16th floor with a great view of table mountain. The only negative was the elevator service from such a high floor taking a long time for the elevator to arrive. The hotel accommodates many daily group bus tours and that is the reason for the delay in elevator service especially in the early morning breakfast crowds.

Elevator delays. Only three of four elevators are operating. It is dangerous to be out beyond sunset in downtown Cape Town so you have to eat out early to be back at the hotel before dark.
