Excellent location, clean rooms and daily housekeeping. Staff very welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. HOWEVER, SEE MY COMMENT BELOW. Reasonable choices for the breakfast.

Theft of ZAR8000 in cash from the safe in my room during the day of Friday 6th October 2023. Whilst I accept it was my fault for not securing the safe before a very early start, and there are clear signs to secure all valuables, that the hotel does not take any responsibility, whoever entered my room during that day stole my money from the safe. Nothing else was taken thankfully. I reported it straight away to Management, an investigation took place, and I quote; "The investigation did not identify any conclusive evidence or negligent acts on the part of the hotel staff or our contractors." I hope my money made a difference to the thief/thieves.

Location

There was no shutoff/Muslim shower at the toilet. The hand wash basin was clogged. School Students knocking at the doors at night.

This hotel is simple and hassle-free, offering a clean and comfortable room along with a decent breakfast. The location on Bree Street is a plus, providing easy access to restaurants, convenience shops, and cafes, making it a convenient choice for travelers looking for a straightforward stay without unnecessary extras.

The pillows were quite firm and felt a bit worn. A refresh would greatly improve comfort. Additionally, the maid service was only available from the late afternoon, but I would have preferred an earlier time.

Clean and fantastic location

The club nearby was loud all night, but it finally quieted down at 5am, giving me a chance to catch some sleep. Breakfast, however, left much to be desired. They offered only scrambled eggs, beans, bacon, and sausages, with no pastries available.

Room was a wee bit small but very comfortable and clean. The bed was amazing. The location is super convenient, and the fact there is VERY easy-to-find parking on premises (for 50 rand a night) was very convenient. Staff was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Wonderful work! Breakfast was simple but very well presented and a touch above what you would expect for this price point. Well done!

The only really con in that regard was that the tv only had local cable and no apps like Netflix/Etc. Which wasn't terrible, but it is hard to find cons. ;)

Day one I ordered dinner,,later went to the restaurant to eat to meet the waiters who said they have packed it but I told them I'm sitting in to eat,, only for them to bring the food in a packed way and refuse to dish it on plates,,they were very rude and unwelcoming my whole family was forced to go back to eat in the rooms,, restaurant on the other side should learn customer care..I never ate in that restaurant till I left all my 6 days

The property is beautiful very clean the staff were ok I can’t say that they were friendly but they were professional , I believe a smile , a how are you , how was trip, was it easy to find us that would have left a better impression .But what I must note one of the cleaning staff standing a door away from our room that lady when we said goodbye she cheerfully said goodbye and thank you , the people at reception can get a lesson or two from her . At check out I said hi we are going now the response was room number I said 966 reply was ok thank you so I had to ask is that it no signature for anything response no , so I said I can go response yes . Nothing really wrong with it but just dry and gives you the feeling like you weren’t in anyway important that fact you chose their hotel to stay no effort to win you over with personality character, so that you may want to go back again . Anyway not that my opinion will change this but I feel that I could share some info so that future guests will know not to expect much but the minimum effort one can give .

The two single beds in the room were way to small for adults maybe good enough for a 5 to 10 year old s but not for an adult .i would have liked to see the tvs upgraded to at least a smart tv , i would really like to see management give some pointers on friendliness to the receptionists and being less mechanical in their greeting . Say hello welcome to our hotel how was you trip was it easy to find us I hope you enjoy your stay .

Our stay at the Stay Easy Hotel was comfortable and convenient. The room were clean, modern, and well-equipped, The friendly staff and easy check-in process added to the experience.

One disappointment during our stay was missing out on the buffet breakfast. When we checked in, we were informed that breakfast was available until 11:00 a.m. However, when we arrived at 10:15, everything was already packed up. Fortunately, the restaurant staff were very accommodating and brought us food from the kitchen, which we appreciated.

They have good selection of halal food which is very convenient. It is located in the CBD, so walking to the CTICC daily was convenient. In fact, it is quite close to other tourist attractions such as the water front, long street, adderly st, etc. At the same time it is also near Bookap where plenty of mosques to visit and halal food restaurant to go to.

We did not get to spend much time at the hotel so we cannot comment on other facilities.

Upon check out I took the room keys back to reception and I think the reception lad name was Aphiwe or something and he was so abit cold.Just greeted and when I informed that the shower drain was blocked in room561 it was almost like a brush off"thanks for letting us know",did not even bid a farewell.Even though I'm local guest you should treat your guest equally. As I'm also in hospitality I know how to treat my guest and not that I'm doing a comparison but just letting you know off staff interaction with local guest.
